Long time no see, everyone.
I know, I know—you guys are eager to read what happens next in Naruto: The System Files. But here's the thing: I'm putting this story on hiatus. I'm not dropping it, just setting it aside for now.
Why?
The reason is simple: I'm just not having fun with it anymore. For the past few days, every time I sat down to write a chapter, I found myself making excuses—like, "Oh, we're out of shampoo; time to go to the store!" I was procrastinating, and today, when I finally forced myself to write a few paragraphs, I realized I wasn't enjoying it.
It's not that I'm out of ideas. I've already outlined everything up to the Chunin Exams—around 100 chapters' worth of content. But here's the thing: I don't think any of you would want me to force myself to continue if I'm not feeling it. So until I find my motivation again, I hope you guys understand.
Does that mean it's over?
Not at all. For the past couple of weeks, I've been working on a new Naruto story. Here's the twist: it's a Dark Souls crossover. Naruto gains a system, but it's the Dark Souls system, allowing him to travel back and forth between the Dark Souls universe and the Shinobi world. He brings back spells, items, and other loot, which has massive implications for both worlds.
If you still want to read my work and you're into a Naruto system fanfic where he's OP, changes the story, and blends with the world of Dark Souls, creating this dark fantasy fanfic where Naruto grows into a smarter Shinobi, he kills without shedding a tear in both the Shinobi world and the world of dark souls then check out Naruto: The Chosen Undead.
Synopsis:
Marked by the cursed Darksign, Naruto Uzumaki finds himself tethered to two worlds: the unforgiving lands of Dark Souls and the shinobi realm of ninja. How will the Dark Souls universe react to a Chosen Undead with chakra? And how will the shinobi world confront a warrior reborn in the Lands of Lordran?

Now, you might say, "Oh, I haven't played Dark Souls or know the story."
Here's the thing, my friend: even if you've played Dark Souls, you wouldn't fully know the story without reading all the item descriptions. But don't worry—I explain everything, so you won't feel lost while reading.
So, if you're up for a new adventure, come along! If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments. I'll be happy to reply.
Peace,
Adamos Amet
