Chapter 85: Preliminary Battle (Finale)

"The final round will be Himichi Hyuga of the Leaf vs Blue B of the Cloud."

Tsunade attention snapped towards the man from the Clud as she finally realized who he was.

'Blue B, also known as the Jinchuriki of the 8 Tails before Killer B. Even if he's not a Perfect Jinchuriki, the fact that he can transform into a Tailed Beast that is second only to Kurama means that the level of danger he represents exceeds that of even Roshi. Himichi can't win this match, but I know that he won't forfeit due to his arrogance. This match will practically be a blood bath.' Tsunade thought to herself while looking at the ring with concern evident on her face.

Blue B stood in the ring with his eyes closed while Himichi showcased an arrogant smile on his face.

"You can save yourself the embarrassment of your loss if you go ahead and quit now." Himichi stated.

"It seems you shinobi of Konoha also underestimate the strength of the other Villages. Allow me to fix this misconception." Blue B spoke.

"BEGIN!!"

Himichi charged at Blue B without his Byukygan active in another show of arrogance, with him using a gentle fist in an attempt to seal B's chakra reserves.

B, with his immense speed advantage, dodged the attacks with relative ease, after which he punched Himichi in the chest, knocking him backward.

Himichi decided to keep the pressure on B, with him constantly charging at B only to be consistently knocked back.

B quickly grew tired of the repeated actions, with him quickly weaving hand signs before he spoke

"Lightning Style: Electromagnetic Murder!!!"

B placed his palms together, with an ungodly amount of lightning being emitted from his hands.

However, even with such high-powered ninjutsu that should drain a great amount of chakra being used by him, he didn't even seem fazed by the attack.

Himichi, on the other hand, was barely able to dodge the attack as it partially hit him, with it charring the part of his body that it hit.

After regaining his bearings, Himichi could only activate his Byakugan to gain some semblance of hope in gaining a victory.

However, a look of terror came onto his face once he activated it.

"Th-This, this shouldn't be possible." Himichi said while taking steps in retreat subconsciously.

B simply gave Himichi a cold smile when he finally spoke again.

"Looks like it's about time I finish this. My brother always told me not to play with my food."

Before Himichi could understand the implications of those words, he was struck in the stomach by B, with him then taking an uppercut that sent him into the air.

B then appeared above him and stomped him into the ground with an even greater amount of force that made dust arise from the ground.

The match became stopped being competitive, with it becoming a one-man slaughter by B.

The genin of Konoha all looked on in horror as they saw the beating that was being dealt to Himichi.

Kenta and Akari looked extremely angry, with them both turning to their sensei and yelling

"Kagami-sensei, you have to forfeit for him!! He's gonna kill him!!" Akari spoke while tears began to well up in her eyes.

"Please forfeit for him, otherwise I don't know what else could happen to him!" Kenta spoke while the Tomei in his Sharingan was rapidly spinning.

"Lord Third, I forfeit on behalf of Himichi Hyuga." Kagami said quickly as he wished for his student to not have any lasting injuries.

Hiruzen quickly agreed, however, before he could signal the match to end, B had drawn his blade again and seemed to be about to go for a killing blow.

All the jonin prepared to move in to block the attack, though someone had already beat them to the job.

A smoke cloud appeared due to someone hitting the ring with great force, after which it was revealed to be Tsunade, adorned with black markings on her body.

"I believe they said he forfeited." Tsunade spoke to only as a reminder, but also as a slight threat.

"I simply was testing his strength a little more." B responded, this time with a serious look on his face.

The two stared at each other for a moment, but the examiner's voice broke the tension between the two.

"The winner of this match is Blue B of the Cloud. All examinees please leave the ring."

Both B and Tsunade left the ring, after which Himichi was given medical treatment for his injuries.

Tsunade and B both had thoughts running through their minds about their encounter.

'It seems that she'll be the largest obstacle in my path of winning the exams.' B thought to himself as he remembered the pressure Tsunade gave off when attained the black markings.

'So that's two Jinchuriki's that we will have to defeat. This Exam is just getting harder and harder.' Tsunade thought while standing beside her team.
