50 Chapter 49: Worry

Tsunade arrived at her home to only see Mito in the kitchen while Ayako say on the sofa reading a novel.

"I have my first C ranked mission today so I'll be gone for dinner Grandma." Tsunade said while running to her room.

However, when she exited her room while holding her bracelet on her wrist, she saw both Mito and Ayako staring daggers into her with their arms crossed.

"What?" Tsunade asked while confused as didn't remember doing anything that could get her in trouble from both of them.

"Were you not going to tell us that you were going on your first mission today? And did you pack everything that you would need? Did Uncle Tobirama really give you a mission now? Couldn't he wait until the end of the war, just wait till he gets home, I'm gonna..." Ayako went on a rant after sending a barage of questions Tsunade's way.

"We just got the mission a few minutes ago. And I have everything inside of my storage bracelet" Tsunade answered.

The storage bracelet that she mentioned was created by her as a substitute for the usual storage scroll that most people use. She created by further studying the Enclosure Technique that condenses space into small spaces. It is not only able to store more things than the storage scroll, but it is also much more convenient to use than the scroll.

"Pay no attention to your Mother Tsuna, she's just worried about your wellbeing. Are you sure that you're prepared for a C ranked mission?" Mito asked with a concerning tone in her voice.

"Yeah. We're only going to take out a bandit stronghold. And Grandpa said that I was strong enough to even take on a jonin, while Jiraiya and Orochimaru can each take on a chunin individually. Not to mention Sarutobi-sensei, who seems to be extremely powerful from that test we took. So we should be completely safe or able to escape from any situation that might arise." Tsunade answered.

Instead of answering her, Mito performed hand seals in quick succession, before she placed one of her hands onto Tsunade's shoulder and spread seals onto her body.

'Okay, I knew Granny Mito was strong, but I didn't think she was THAT strong!! I could barely see her start the hand seals, and I didn't see her move at all! She has to be at least Kage level to do something like that.' Tsunade thought while in complete shock from the speed in which Mito placed the seal.

"This seal will activate if you are truly in trouble. It'll be there as an insurance to keep you safe." Mito said while smiling before giving Tsuande a hug, one that Ayako also joined in.

"See you later Mom, Grandma." Tsunade said while leaving the house, with Ayako and Mito remaining while staring at the door.

"Do you think she'll be ok Mom?" Ayako asked Mito after seeing Tsunade leave.

Many people decide to become shinobi in their lives, with around 500 kids becoming shinobi each year.

While most go on to become either part of the main fighting force or the genin reserves, the only way they do that is if they passed what could only be called the first test of a shinobi: The First Kill.

Many break upon killing other people with them retiring as they are unable to mentally bear the pressure.

And while Ayako was worried about the safety of her daughter, she was even more worried about how her mental state would be after her having to take a life.

"She will be fine Aya. Tsunade's a strong girl." Mito said, though the worry in her eyes betrayed her words.

'May you help protect her from the Pure Lands Hashi.'
