20 Chapter 20: Home

~Konoha~

The sun shone like a fire as it illuminated the great village of Konohagakure. An iconic mountain stood proudly as if it was the spirit of the village personified, with it being adorned with the faces of two individuals whose legends will resound throughout the village for years to come.

The atmosphere around the village was harmonious, from the women who were gossiping about the rumors they had heard, to the young children who ran around without a concern in the world, to the ANBU who stood in the shadows to protect the peace that enabled them to have these smiles on their faces to begin with.

And in this friendly and sunny atmosphere stood a compound that represented the family of one of the two founding clans of this village.

However, unlike the calm and tranquility that most of the village currently had, a battle was taking place on one of the many training grounds in the Senju Clan Compound.

A small girl around the age of 6 who had blonde hair and brown eyes and wore a green kimono, was fighting against a man with white hair a red markings on his face, with him beind adorned in a blue battle armor.

The girl threw constant blows, carrying a terrifying amount of force behind it. The man however was able to remain calm as he easily dodged the blows as he was telling the girl her flaws while they fought.

"You have to make your attacks less consistent Tsuna. Stop looking at the place you're going to attack before you do it, it makes it easier to avoid your punches. Now show me another water style ninjutsu." Tobirama said before telling her what to do on the next part of their training.

Tsunade jumped back to a good distance from Tobirama before she proficiently weaved a large amount of signs, after which both her and Tobirama yelled the same jutsu

""Water Style: Water Dragon Bullet Technique!!""

They both spewed large amounts of water from their mouths, before they molded into a dragon-like shape, with one being larger than the other. The two dragons then collided into one another, creating a large explosion and filling the training grounds with smoke.

The girl, otherwise known as Tsunade, was now heavily panting while thinking to herself.

'Damnit, grandpa isn't taking it easy on me at all. We've been fighting for almost 30 minutes and he's made me use that same jutsu at least ten times. Combine that with the long duration of the fight and my chakra reserves have pretty much gone empty.'

However she was taken out her thoughts when she saw the white haired man walk through the smoke completely unharmed.

Although, contrary to his usual stoic face, he wore a large and bright smile on it, as he said "Very good Tsuna, to be able to fight in a high capacity for almost 30 minutes straight and only tire out now is truly astounding. Even if I only used special jonin level strength, the fact that you could keep up with me shows how much you have grown. We're done for the day, so you can return to the house, I'll see you there later for dinner."

Tsunade smiled at the compliments before rushing Tobirama and giving him a hug before she spoke "Thanks for the training session grandpa, I know you must have been busy."

Tobirama simply rubbed his granddaughters head as he softly spoke "It's fine Tsuna, I'm prepared to help you anytime you need, now I'll see you at dinner tonight."

They both then left the training grounds as Tobirama went towards the Hokage Building and Tsunade walked around the clan compound.

She saw many of the civilians and shinobi of the clan stop whatever they were doing to give her a "Hi, Tsunade-hime" or "Good evening, Tsunade-hime."

While it was fun at first it quickly got stale but she couldn't force them to change it, as every time she spoke to Hashirama about it, all she got was a "Of course they would greet their princess." so she simpy got use to it.

While originally the number of people in the compound was growing smaller due to Hashirama and Tobirama advocating for their clan members to marry outside the clan and with other clans or civilians, the new Uzumaki clansmen who joined their compound made up for the loss and made the quietly declining clan grow into a powerhouse once more.

The new additions also strengthened Konoha as a whole as more and more Uzumaki seal masters joined into the village which increased the villages mission success rate and bolstered it's defenses by increasing detection seals and helping to root out spies.

Tsunade was finally able to make it to her home, where as always she could smell the cooking that Mito had started for dinner before she could even enter.

She opened the door to see a familiar sight: Hashirama somehow managing to lose money to himself in a game of solitaire, her Grandma Mito over in the kitchen cooking dinner while also taking quick glances at Hashirama to prevent him from doing anything stupid, her mother and father stood over on the couch a they read a novel together while waiting for dinner.

Tsunade simply smiled at her family before she closed the door behind her and said "I'm Home."
