196 Chapter 189: Departure

The family of 8 sat at the dinner table and enjoyed their dinner as they made small talk.

"So, how is Kuna doing at the border? She's been gone for almost 2 months now." Tsunade asked Ashina, with Kushina peeking over once she heard about her mom.

"She's said she hasn't run into any problems yet, but you can never be too careful. But, while we're on the topic of children, how has Naruto been Tsuna?" Ashina asked.

Tsunade thought back about how she took Naruto back, with her missing him greatly.

~Flashback~

On the training grounds in Konoha, two figures were flashing around at high speeds, with both of them creating shockwaves every time their attacks met.

After a final struggle, one of the two stopped, with it revealing a blonde haired teen with blue eyes panting heavily, while a blonde haired woman looked at him with a smirk.

"Are you already tired, Naruto?" Tsunade asked her son.

"Of course. Everyone is not a monster like you, Mom." Naruto answered as he finally caught his breathe.

Tsunade had begun his more difficult training after she returned from the former capital, with her training him in everything that ranged from Chakra Control to Elemental Mastery, though she did get Orochimaru to help with it due to him having a mastery of the Wind Element.

One thing that Tsunade had understood was that Naruto was far from dumb: No, it would better to say that he was a genius.

His level of understanding Ninjutsu or Fuinjutsu stood at an unparalleled level, with Tsunade unable to understand how no one understood that in the original timeline.

Though he also had an abundance of excess energy thanks to the Yang half of Kurama, with Tsunade guessing that it was the reason why he had never could focus on one thing whilst in the Academy.

But, with Tsunade's guidance, Naruto had reached a level of power that would allow him to defend himself from any major threats that may arise when she takes him home.

While she couldn't say he had stepped definitively into the ranks of Kage Level Shinobi, those who have the power to change the tide of a war with their very presence, but he was extremely close to it.

At the bare minimum, she expects him to be far pass the level of strength that his teammates had reached after his training with them.

Also, after his three years of training, he had become a Level 5 Fuinjutsu Master, with him being on the same level as Jiraiya in his original world.

Though, compared to Tsunade, Mito, Kuna, and Ashina, who had all reached Level 13, he was still far off from being a master.

The two then left to get Ramen, with Tsunade deaming him deserving of it after his hard day of training.

"You know what today is, don't you?" Tsunade asked, her tone a bit somber as she spoke to her son.

Suddenly, he stopped walking, with the cheerful smile that he was always known to have no longer being their, instead replaced by a sad look.

"Yeah. I know." He said quietly, his eyes staring down at the ground.

He was then jerked over to a hug by Tsunade, with her holding him tightly in her arms.

"I finished the Jutsu I made, with it letting you come home anytime you wish as long as you perform the Fuinjutsu I taught you. You can come home whenever you need to talk or need me. And if it's an emergency, the Signal I taught you should alert me even from across two separate timelines." Tsunade said.

Naruto nodded while regaining his smile, with he and Tsunade going home after they finished their Ramen.

When they got their, the entire family sat in the living room, with Kushina and Nawaki having red eyes, showing that they had already been told Naruto was leaving.

"Will you come back to visit us?" Nawaki asked Naruto with his eyes already tearing up again.

"Of course! I will always come visit and I'll bring you a gift everytime I come." Naruto said as he rubbed his head.

"No he won't! He's gonna leave and forget about us!!" Kushina yelled from beside Kuna.

But before she could chastise her daughter, Naruto cut her off by picking her up.

"I could never forget about you guys, you know! You're my family. I'll come back as often as I can." Naruto said.

He then put her down, with everyone looking at him warmly.

"Make sure you take care of yourself Naruto. This has around 100 meals sealed inside of it." Ayako said as she gave him the scroll.

"I finally got you some finger blades formed from Chakra Metal. They'll be useful for you." Haru said as he gave them to his grandson.

"Here are all of my notes on Fuinjutsu. I think they will do you wonders since you won't have us to ask you every single question." Ashina said.

"Make sure you come home and visit me. I'd hate for this to be the last time I see me grandson." Mito said as she smiled warmly at him.

'Yeah right. With the speed you move at when you catch me stealing ramen, you're probably gonna live another 100 years.' Naruto thought, though he hid said thought when he felt the aura around Mito grow dangerous.

"Don't die in your timeline, brat." Tobirama said as he patted Naruto on the shoulder.

"Very reassuring old man." Naruto thought as he rolled his eyes.

"Let's go, Naruto." Tsunade said as a large amount of Seals surrounded the two, and they then disappeared.
