178 Chapter 172: Students

Tsunade stood on the training grounds with amusement laced in her face as she watched her students struggle to stand from the gravity that forced them to the ground.

However, she could see that the trio had vast potential that she could truly help flourish under her command.

Shiminosuke had an extremely large amount of chakra for his age, something Tsunade could only attribute to the monstrous genes that were given to him by his father.

And if he had even half the talent that his father did in the area of Elemental Mastery, then he may very well become 4th person in Konoha to completely master all 5 base Chakra Natures, only behind Hiruzen, Orochimaru, and herself.

Then there was Fugaku, a child who she knew the direct parallel of from the anime, at least from the slight implications made of him.

While him possessing a Mangekyo Sharingan practically proved that he was a threat of unparalleled caliber in that world, there was also the fact that some people even theorized that his abilities were related to time.

Such factors made him incredibly powerful in that world, though Tsunade could already see the stern man from the future in the arrogant child before her.

Yet, she planned to make that terrifying monster into something even stronger, since she had long felt that the potential that the Uchiha had was widely wasted.

What if she taught him mastery over Fire Release, Medical Ninjutsu to the level that he could heal himself in the middle of battle, and Fuinjutsu on top of all the abilities that he already could train as an Uchiha.

She could practically see the monster she would create in the future after she was done training him.

Though, if wasted potential had to be taken into account, the clan that showcased it the most had to be the Hyuga.

A clan that could quite literally be the bane of Ninjutsu had been downgraded to mere Sensor Ninja and Taijutsu Specialist.

If someone had the ability to see through Ninja and Ninjustu alike, why couldn't they merely destroy any Ninjutsu of a certain level with merely a tap of their fingers through the process of using its weak points?

While it would be useless amongst higher-powered attacks, it would make them nearly invincible to any Shinobi under the rank of Kage.

With that being the case, Tsunade planned to turn all three of her Genin into monsters second only to her generation.

Once the time finally was up for their gravity training, Tsunade immediately soothed the three with Medical Ninjutsu before preparing them for the next exercise.

However, just as she was about to, a familiar ANBU flickered before the group, making Tsunade raise one of her eyebrows in curiosity.

"Lady Tsunade, your presence is needed in the Hokage's Office. Please follow me." 

Tsunade simply tapped her foot on the ground as 3 Wood Clones emerged.

"Alright brats, you three are gonna get taught by my clones until I get back. Once I do, be ready for your personal Hell's to continue." Tsunade said with a smirk as the three grumbled before going off with their respective clones.

Tsunade then glanced over at Sakumo before bursting towards the Hokage's office at blinding speeds.

Tsunade hadn't been urgently called to the office of the Hokage since the time of the Second Great Shinobi World War, and she definitely hoped that the Third was not about to begin early.

She arrived in the room to see Orochimaru, Danzo, Koharu, Homura, and Hiruzen, while Sakumo joined alongside her as he arrived shortly after.

The grim expression on Hiruzen's face gave signals as to what was about to be announced, yet Tsunade definitely couldn't have foreseen the news she got.

"The Daimyo's of the Land of Fire, Land of Lightning, and Land of Earth have been killed, as has the Third Kazekage."

Only one word personified Tsunade's thought process perfectly.
