Chapter 131: Journey

Tsunade awoke the next morning and quickly took care of her daily necessities, after which she joined the rest of her family downstairs for breakfast.

Mito had devoted herself to making sure that she always prepared home-cooked meals for breakfast and dinner, her keeping this promise to herself even as she grew further in her old age.

And her skill in cooking may be the only thing that could overshadow her skill in Fuinjutsu.

Tsunade then informed her family about her going on the mission, leading Nawaki to begin pouting in protest.

"I don't want Big Sis to leave." Nawaki said making Tsunade walk over to him and place him on her shoulders.

"How about this, when I get back, I'll teach you a powerful new Jutsu." Tsunade said, making stars appear in Nawaki's eyes as everyone simply smiled at the scene.

"I'll teach you one too Kushina." Tsunade said as she looked over to see her cousin originally looking sad before growing extremely joyful.

Tsunade then left out the door, though she saw her Grandfather already outside, making Tsunade's eye twitch at his casual use of the Flying Thunder God Technique.

Tsunade had attempted to learn it and the endeavor proved extremely difficult for her, even with her Godly attainments in Chakra Control.

She simply seemed to not have many talents in the Jutsu, as while she could teleport small objects to the markers she created, she could move larger objects, let alone herself yet.

Though her studies did allow her the ability to create barriers that could disable Space-Time Ninjutsu, as she was highly tempted to place one around their Clan Compound to prevent her Grandfather from abusing the broken ability.

"Be careful on your journey. Madara hasn't been sighted since he attempted to kill me, though knowing someone of your caliber has arisen, he will undoubtedly wish for a battle with you. I'm just not confident that he will not attack you currently, as he may have some method of returning to his prime. That's the only idea I can see that is plausible" Tobirama spoke his thoughts to her, with him still being concerned for his Granddaughters's safety even after all of her training.

"Don't worry Grandfather, I'm fully prepared to deal with Madara, even if he returns to his peak." Tsunade said, feeling that her training and the new abilities she trained would allow her to confidently beat the God of War.

Tsunade then gave Tobirama a hug before she went to the Village Gates to depart, ready to take on any dangers that the mission may bring her.

After confirming everything with the guards, Tsunade began moving at immense speeds towards the Land of Wind, prepared to figure out the sources of the issue in Roran.

Around 3 hours into her travels, Tsunade came into a group of bandits that seemed to be robbing a noble from the Land of Fire.

Though these were no ordinary bandits as they were capable of using chakra and the leader had reserves that rivaled that of a Jonin.

Tsunade saw the man attempting to swing his blade to decapitate one of the Nobleman's Guards, with her immediately appearing in front of the man and catching the blade.

Tsunade applied a small amount of force and shattered the blade, before she sent the man flying with a punch to the chest, killing him instantly due to the force behind it.

The man who seemed to be the second in charge paled immediately upon realizing who was before him.

A beautiful blonde-haired woman that wore a green jacket atop her clothes with a purple diamond on her forehead.

These features correlated to the woman before them, causing the man to say in fear

"Are you t-the The Slug Sage, Lady Tsunade?"

Tsunade didn't respond, with her instead stomping her foot on the ground as roots erupted from the ground and dragged all the bandits into the ground, finishing them off.

The Noble expressed deep gratitude to Tsunade, though she declined any gifts or invitations as she informed him she was on a mission.

It was after this that Tsunade proceeded on her way to the Kingdom of Roran.
