Mizuna's first real battle (2)

The sun beat down upon the forest floor, casting dappled shadows beneath the towering trees as a group of the land of wind shinobis surrounded Mizuna

The air was heavy with tension as both sides waited for the perfect moment to strike

The land of wind shinobis looked at each other, the hatred for the Jinjuriki they were surrounding disappeared from their eyes and focus and determination replaced them. They nodded at each other, and disappeared from their location, their shadows blending with the trees

Mizuna watched their movements intensely trying to predict what they were planning to do next. His seven tails all swaying with anticipation

Two shinobi went towards his left, two went towards his back, and then 2 jumped above him

"Wind Style: Kunai rain"

Kunais coated with chakra flew towards Mizuna, and true to what they said it seemed like it was raining.

Mizuna looked at the Kunais coming towards him and covered himself with the seven tails at his back

The kunais make contact with his chakra like steel hitting steel.

The kunais stopped and fell to the ground as soon as they made contact

The six shinobis launched themselves towards Mizuna their eyes glowing like embers their katana and kunai coated by their chakra slashed and stabbed at Mizuna every chance they got.

But before their attacks hit his body, his chakra blocked it and the sounds of metallic weapons hitting a hard object were the only thing they managed to accomplish

Mizuna using his sharp claws made from blood-red chakra parried their attacks, while his seven tails acted as a swaying metal pole preventing the shinobis from attacking his back

They fought at high speed. A human without chakra can only hear the sound of two hard objects hitting each other.

'is this the extent of a Jonin level shinobis without kekei Genkai? Or any advanced techniques? They are weak. There's nothing more I can learn from this battle'

"This is enough training, thank you my friends from the land of wind," he said while smiling

They looked at him with surprise on their faces. The Jonin commanding the operation shouted, "Be on guard!"

Mizuna then jumped 40 feet off the ground. For the land of wind shinobis, it seemed like he disappeared

"Fire style: Fire wheel"

The shinobis looked up to where the voice was coming from including the Jonin commanding the operation and the other two beside him on top of a tree

The group of the land of wind Shinobi, known for their stealth and agility, found themselves caught off guard by a humongous fire wheel that suddenly appeared in the sky above them. The fire wheel blocked the sun and the shadow of it covered their entire surrounding

They couldn't react in time nor speak a word the Jonin commanding the operation only smiled bitterly and closed his eyes as the flames engulfed them, their bodies turned to ashes along with the Chunins and the trees surrounding them

The land that was filled with trees and other vegetation is now nothing more but a burned-deep crater

Mizuna landed on the ground and looked at the mess he created

'*Sigh* 9 wasted Jonin, I would have captured them all if I could but I'm sure once I killed half of them the others would have run in different directions to spread the news and alert their Kage'

'Reaching Jonin level in this chaotic time means they aren't dumb, I won't believe that all of them will fight to the death especially if they are doing a covert mission that only a handful of people know'

"It was a good fight"

Mizuna then used "Byakugan" and then switched back to Sharingan not long after

"Hm? Where did Mother and the others go? Did they chase the one that left before the battle? Not bad mother"

He then walked towards the villagers who saw what happened to the Shinobis who were massacring their family and neighbours

Some of them have burned clothes and have minor injuries from his attack but it only came from the heat and they were not hit directly

He then said "Sorry for that, it's the best way to kill them all at once" while smiling

The villagers trembled and stayed curled up on the ground. Mizuna then said "You're all safe now and nothing will happen to you but before we leave this place, let me enslave you all first"

He then enslaved the villagers

As the sun began to set, a group of shinobis emerged from the dense forest, their weary faces etched with exhaustion and accomplishment.

Mizuna saw them and asked, "Is that the one who escaped earlier?" while looking at a shinobi tied by ropes, her chakra sealed by the Hyugas

"Yeah, she's Pakira one of the Jonin of the village hidden by sand from the land of wind"

"She has scorch release kekei Genkai, it was tough to capture her alive"

"Scorch release?" Mizuna then looked at her and noticed her resemblance to Pakura from Naruto

'She must've been her mother'

"I'll enslave her then let's return with her, her kekei Genkai will be a perfect diversion for us"

"What will you do to the villagers?"

"I have enslaved them all while I was waiting for you to return"

"Yeah, the most powerful of them is just a genin so it didn't take that much time compared to the Hyugas"

"I'm planning to send them to the village hidden by the rivers and have them settle there, they can be my eyes and ears inside"

"As for the commotion here, I told them to say 2 groups of masked shinobis fought each other if someone asked them"

The Hyugas and an Uchiha nodded and said "Let's give them the Ryo we prepared for emergencies" "I agree" "Me too"

Mizuna shook his head and smiled bitterly and said "I understand"

Kimi, Asami and Hirabi gathered the villagers and gave them some Ryo. While Miss Jonin healed them. As for Mizuna, he starts to enslave Pakira while Hiyori is guarding him

"It's getting dark, let's return"
