Inside a dense forest, lies an abandoned village. The crumbling wooden houses stand as ghostly reminders of the village's former glory.
The once vibrant houses now stand empty and decrepit, their windows shattered and doors hanging off their hinges
At the border of Land or Rivers and Land of Fire approximately 900km West of Konohagakure and 500km West of Tanzaku Quarters, Mizuna and the others descended from the sky using Shukaku's sand.
The Hyugas immediately spread to different directions and searched the surrounding area for any concealed Shinobis that might have seen them descending
As Mizuna walked towards the village's entrance he was greeted by the Shinobis of the village hidden by Sands and their families he enslaved during his stay there
The soft light illuminates their faces, revealing a mix of emotions: some are anxious, others hopeful, and a few appear resigned to their fate
They are surprised to see Shamon tied up and even more so when they see the former Jinjuriki old man Bunpuku
A young girl ran towards old man Bunpuku. As she reached him, she threw her arms around his waist, holding him tightly "Grandpa!" she exclaimed, tears of joy streaming down her face "I'm so glad you escaped that prison" Her grandfather smiled down at her, his eyes shining with happiness
"Haha! Little Chiyo, I chose to be imprisoned there"
As they stand there for a moment, holding each other tight, the girl's tears finally begin to subside. She looks up at her grandfather with a small smile on her face.
"Greetings lord, I apologise for my daughter's actions, it's just she hasn't seen my husband's father in a long time. We are glad that you managed to make it back safely" A Shinobi with Floral coloured hair talked, seemingly in a higher position than the rest of the shinobis
She wears her age well, and her skin is smooth and sun-kissed, with a subtle glow. Her eyes are a deep shade of brown, warm and inviting like the first sip of hot chocolate on a chilly morning. Her features are delicate yet striking
Mizuna smiled and remembered that compared to the others, enslaving her took the longest time 'She's the strongest of them all' he thought
"It's fine, now tell me, did you encounter any problems while waiting for us?"
The shinobi shook her head "No lord, no one came here for the last 2 days except the ones from our village who were also under your orders"
The look of relief on Mizuna's face is palpable as he exhales deeply, a sense of weight lifting off his shoulders. He has been worried for the last few days that other Shinobis might have discovered them and foil some of his plans
He already has taken pre emptied measures like asking them to lay low and asking them scout the surrounding area but he thought anything could happen, and probably will
"Please tell everyone to prepare, we shall head out before dawn"
Mizuna walked towards the tied-up Shamon "5 anbu, please guard me while I enslave him"
His body became covered with blood-red chakra and his white eyes became red with pinwheels
Shamon's shoulders slumped under the burden of his thoughts. The path ahead was uncertain, shrouded in an impenetrable mist, but he knew that he had no choice but to follow its winding course

With a look of uncertainty on his face "My lord, what are you planning to do to me?" Shamon in front of him asked
Mizuna became thoughtful, with his voice low and even, his words dripping with sincerity "Shamon, I want you to become the Kazekage"
Shamon hesitated, as if unsure how to proceed. Being a Kazekage has always been his goal in life, but the current Kazakage is not only his closest comrade he is also stronger than him
"But what should I do about the current Kazekage? I apologise lord but I can't defeat him" he said apologetically
"Reto is already old he will look for a successor soon, not only that, everyone saw how you are willing to sacrifice yourself for the village. I saw his expression while we were taking you away. I'm sure he will feel deeply indebted for your willingness to sacrifice yourself"
Shamon's eyes narrowed, his brow furrowing in concern "But lord, everyone knows that I can't escape from the tailed beasts, how can I explain to them why you released me?"
Mizuna smiled at at him and looked at one of the Anbu, she approached them and gave a scroll to Shamon
"This scroll contains a message from me to your Kazekage and your council. The message on this scroll says that the reason why we invaded your village is to only get the one-tailed beast and show the power our group possess. After this attack, we will no longer invade your village"
"As for why we kidnapped you, tell him we simply punished you for the atrocity that you committed to the villages here in the land of rivers"
Mizuna looked up at the dark starry skies and smiled "Also tell them that you suspect that we might have belonged to the Land of Earth"
"After you return, you can continue whatever you are doing and I will just send someone to contact you whenever I need your assistance"
Shamon nodded his head in agreement, feeling a sense of relief wash over him "I understand lord"
Not long after, Shamon left the abandoned village accompanied by 4 Jonins of the Village hidden by Sands that Mizuna tasked to guard him
Mizuna remembered that in the original Naruto, the Kazekage Reto and Kazekage Shamon were assassinated. He hoped that those four jonins would be able to prevent that from happening to Shamon
"Son, why did you ask him to return?"
"Shamon is too well known Mother, we can't bring him to Tanzaku Quarters. The reason why I brought him with us is because enslaving him will take time, something we didn't have inside the Village hidden by Sands. Also, he specialized in using puppets, it's something we can't use while doing covert raids. He is more useful inside the village hidden by the Sands"
Pakira walked near them and added
"We planned to capture him before enslaving shukaku but he lives near the Kazekage, he might have sensed us if we used the same tactic we used to the other shinobis"
Hiyori nodded "I get it now, you plan to use Shamon to completely put the Village hidden by sands under your control"
Mizuna smiled "You are a very smart mother"
