Chapter 4:Walking on a tight rope

Iruka, who was temporally at a disadvantage and momentarily repressed, stopped pursuing Mizuki and instead hovered close to stand guard as Mizuki suddenly escaped the confrontation.

Mizuki murmured as he turned to face Iruka: "Why do you feel uneasy, Iruka? Do you think I'll end up stealing the scroll? Or do you fear that I won't let Naruto get away?"

"What do you want?" Iruka was unwilling to loosen up.

Mizuki turned away from Iruka and turned to Naruto, asking, "Naruto, don't you believe me, I didn't lie to you, look, you already learned a very powerful ninjutsu, right?"

"You didn't lie, Mizuki-sensei, but why are you fighting with Iruka-sensei? Aren't we all Konoha ninjas?" Naruto worriedly questioned

"Hehe, Naruto, do you want to know the truth?" Mizuki asked.

Naruto nodded quickly.

"Do you know why Iruka refuses to let you become a ninja? Because Iruka has always resented you. Do you think he is so worthy of your trust?"

"Resent? Why?" Iruka-sensei, the one who had been taking care of him, wasn't he also like him, so Naruto struggled to accept this reality.

"I told you Iruka is an orphan; do you know what happened to his parents?" Mizuki added ruthlessly not giving him a chance to ask why "His parents are dead because of you.

Naruto was stunned by the alarming information and became incoherent. "I murdered Iruka-sensei's parents? sensei How is that possible?"

"Don't say it, Mizuki," Iruka yelled angrily, attempting to try and stop him.

Mizuki ignored it and started utilizing chakra in secret. Naruto felt a slight itch on the back of his head. But Naruto didn't seem to notice it because he assumed it was just a bite from the little bugs that were everywhere at night and scratched his head.

Mizuki secretly rejoiced at the outcome. I had intended to use poison as a precaution, but I had no idea it would be so beneficial. It's not even a poison; it's merely a stimulant with numerous side effects. It increases a person's metabolism and temporarily intensifies all types of emotions, allowing them to get to the extreme in a short time.

"You know that over 10 years ago, the nine-tailed fox attacked Konoha, and the village suffered innumerable losses, right?" Mizuki said to Naruto, seeing that everything was normal.

"Yeah, I also know Konoha's great hero, the Fourth Hokage, saved everyone and defended the village," Naruto said, nodding.

"Don't say anything, bastard," Iruka screamed in agony and covered his head.

"Mizuki still revealed the matter, this is troublesome," sighed the third Hokage as he looked through the crystal ball.

Naruto muttered on this side, stunned by the reality of it all: "How is this possible? I murdered people. I'm the nine-tailed fox demon, right? So that's why the villagers despise and hate me. I was the source of the problem."

Mizuki looked at Iruka but said nothing. 'What an amazing opportunity; the next step will determine success or failure.'

Mizuki quickly formed the hand seal, taking advantage of Iruka's lack of preparation to activate the illusion.

"Hell Viewing Jutsu."

Naruto was its intended victim.

When Naruto was hit by the illusion, he immediately lost focus, his face filled with fear as if he had seen the most horrifying painting in his life.

Mizuki stood by and watched as things unfolded.

"The combination of illusion and medicine should be able to achieve the desired result. Not that I don't want to use more potent, safer, and effective poisons. I just wasn't sure how it would affect Naruto or how resistant he would be to it. Stimulants, for example, should not induce a strong reaction. Fortunately, Naruto has poor chakra control and no resistance to illusion."

"Mizuki, what the heck did you do?" Iruka asked sharply after seeing something was off.

"I simply let him see the truth of the matter. Actually, I'm very interested in his next choice."

Naruto's body couldn't stop trembling in pain at this point. He suddenly raised his head and opened his eyes. The red light in his eyes was abnormally bright, and his rage and insanity were palpable.

Iruka extended his hands to console Naruto, but Naruto raised a hand to prevent him before charging forward, slamming into Iruka's chest, and propelling him more than ten meters.

Iruka stared at Naruto in shock: "What's going on, Naruto? I can help don't trust Mizuki.

They were hiding and didn't want to be found. As long as they weren't weak, detecting the system wasn't difficult. Being arrogant and believing the plan was foolproof would be my undoing.

However, it appears that the arrival of the one in the dark added a little more pressure to the situation.

"I can't make rash decisions. Iruka's physical strength has already been depleted, and he also has numerous minor injuries. He isn't a particularly skilled ninja, and Naruto should be able to end the battle before the medicine's effects wear off."

"Is that you, Mizuki-sensei?" Then Naruto realized something was wrong. "I was fighting in my dream, and my entire body was exhausted. Iruka-sensei, why are you hurt? What's going on?""Did I do all of this, am I really a monster?" Naruto asked after he finished speaking. Naruto became disoriented.

Mizuki lightly tapped Naruto's forehead and smiled, saying, "Naruto-Kun, you did a good job." He ignored Naruto, who was dazed and turned to Iruka, saying, "The following task has been handed to you. If possible, I'd like to see you tomorrow." He raised his eyes to the sky: "I guess I'll see you later today since it's almost dawn. Naruto and Iruka-sensei" After finishing, he picked up the scroll of seals from the ground and headed towards the Konoha gate.

"The most difficult part is over, and it wasn't so bad. A good teacher and a sympathetic protagonist should be bonding right now. as the villain, I'm not fit to stay."

Mizuki, on the other hand, was overcome with emotion as he took the scroll. "The Third Hokage dispatched a powerful ninja for backup, implying that this was the actual scroll. Perhaps I should take a look?" It's difficult to resist temptation while holding a treasure, so Mizuki told himself, "Forget it, there's no gain to it, and I might end up wasting all my previous effort."

He walked along the forest path until he couldn't see Naruto or Iruka behind him. A figure suddenly blocked Mizuki's path.

"Mizuki I won't go into detail about the situation because you already know about it. You have no chance of getting away."

After he had finished listening, Mizuki carefully examined the owner of the voice. It was someone he was very familiar with.

'Kakashi Hatake. Why would he send him? Isn't this a bit much?' Mizuki's lips twitched.

Regardless, Mizuki had to accept that he was at the mercy of the others. After all, it was pointless to resist.

"I see, so you're the Anbu they sent to arrest me?"

"Stop asking irrelevant questions, put down the scroll of seals, and take a step back."

Mizuki had no choice but to do as he said and take a few steps back. Kakashi took a step forward, checked it, and placed the sealed book away. Then he told Mizuki: "Because of your current decision, My task is also finished, and the next step will be decided by the Hokage. Let's go."
