Chapter 4: The Baby Shinobi

("Everything Went Just As Planned.")

After quietly opening the door, Jason scurried into the room and slowly closed the door behind him, walking into the dimly lit room.

"....Creaaak!"

Considering the amount of time that had passed since his last visit, Jason was once more quite shocked by the sheer magnitude and beauty of the office. Both the left and right of the office had rows upon rows of seemingly never-ending bookshelves.

All of the shelves towered over Jason as he couldn't help but admire the architecture. Columns of marble were situated in between the shelves that took up in the middle of the room. The walls also colwed with rows of hardwood bookshelves, although these were quite shorter than the primary ones. Above each shelf imprinted luxurious paintings of unknown individuals, and heads of terrifyingly realistic animals.

The rich atmosphere of wood and vanilla covered the room giving it a naturally relaxing space. The giant encompassing rug that somehow covered the entire room amplified the cozy nature of the room. Jason smiled remembering just how much he liked the room, it was essentially his bedroom for his first 6 months ever since his rebirth.

"This is far better than I remembered it." Chuckled Jason who couldn't help but compare it to his bedroom in the real world.

"I could only imagine how large and magnificent the compound is…"

In between the rows of shelves just ahead of the front door was where Jason remembered his father often working or sharing stories with him. A large wide desk stretched itself encompassing the two large Cathedral glass doors behind it that acted as windows and doors to the balcony. Right beside each glass door were two flags. The flags of Amegakure and the Hatori stood firmly congruent to each other.

"Were there always four flags at each door, I could have sworn…."

With a sigh, Jason walked over towards the desk.

"Let's get to business…."

Having been 6 months since his last visit to the office, Jason had no clue where everything was placed. For all he knew things could have been moved around during the past 6 months and the dim light wasn't helping either.

Jason climbed up one of the surrounding chairs near the desk, using the chair's armrest as another stepping stone he quickly pushed himself up again and then hopped ontop. Making his way through the other side of the desk making sure to avoid pencils, scrolls, and piles upon piles of paper. Finally making it to the other side, Jason hopped back down onto the large chair behind the desk.

Moving to the middle of the chair Jason pulled at the drawer knob and (WAM!!!!) unexpectedly the drawer flew at Jason hitting him square in the forehead

"FUCK!!" Jason exclaimed. The scene of a one-year-old baby screaming profanities with such livid anger would have brought many adults from the real world speechlessness or rolling on the ground with laughter.

After his loud rants of passion Jason rubbed the pain away, sucking it up he rummaged through the desk drawer before finding what he needed.

"Aha!" Jason finally grabbed the item he was looking for and pulled it from the drawer.

Looking at the item Jason smiled. A small lamp hung from his hands with a shrewd light spreading instantly across the room. Squinting Jason turns a little nod at the side of the lamp toning down its light. Closing the desk drawer and hopping off the chair Jason made his way down the left side of the hall where nigh-infinite knowledge of his new world.

Slowly scanning through each shelf he could reach Jason and Jason began looking for books containing information about chakra.

It took Jason about 8 minutes to find the sections of the library filled with information about chakra; most of the other rows of shelves had a variety of books detailing the shinobi lifestyles. Books about shinobi weaponry, shinobi conduct, Shinobi tactics, shinobi war tactics, Shinobi seductions, Shinobi tracking, etcetera.

Scanning the bookshelf Jason grinned. "There you are, you fucking beauty."

Reading the book titles on the shelves through the book's spines, Jason picked out four books.

-Basics Of Chakra

-Basics Of Chakra Control

-Basics Of Chakra Affinity

-The Human Body & Chakra

Jason had carefully picked out each book that'd allow him to learn as much as he could about chakra and its magic. Jason's memory on how chakra specifically worked was foggy at best as he only remembered sparingly things like chakra control exercises and the 5 elements.

While he loved Naruto, unfortunately, the timing of which he grew to love the series was when he was a kid. Because of this he didn't pay too much attention to the intricacies of chakra and its inner workings, rather he'd like to watch all the hype moments and deep dive into the lore to find cool ninjas that used crazy justus and techniques. Jason had even gone as far as to watch all the 'Naruto,' & 'Naruto Shippuden' movies ontop of watching fillers and side stories to satiate his hunger for lore.

Looking up at the shelves Jason shot his hand up the light illuminating the shelves, when something gray and metallic caught his attention. Walking over to it, stepped back and got on his tippy-toes to get a better look. It was a small rectangular box that read in bold letters 'Intermediate'.

"Huh.." Thought Jason stepped closer.

Having stepped closer Jason saw yet another gray metallic rectangle several inches above the previous one and with a squint he just barely got a hint of what it read.

"Ad….Advin….OH….Advanced." Turning the latter from left to right Jason so that each rectangle was directly congruent with each row of books on the shelf.

Putting the lantern on the ground it illuminated the shelf he'd just been scanning. Right in front of him a few inches below the intermediate rectangle was yet another rectangle this time Jason could make out what it said.

[Basics]

"It seems that every shelf row has a corresponding rank of information it has access to." Rationed Jason.

Picking up the lantern, Jason turned around and saw the same thing applied to the shelf behind him. Going around Jason saw even more of the shelves held the same concept.

Jason chuckled. " How'd I not notice any of this, the first time?"

Tired from walking around Jason felt his baby body reaching its limit for the energy of the day. Placing his lantern down near a bookshelf, Jason placed his books down and grabbed a scroll from his right pocket.

Rolling the scroll open a complex series of writing could be seen on. All the writing spread from one point to a small circle in the middle of the scroll. Grabbing each book Jason began placing them ontop of the circle one by one. With all of them stacked and ready Jason sat on his knees in front of the scroll.

Taking a deep breath Jason formed his hands into a sign and the scroll brilliantly flashed with a blue light, a second later the four books had seemingly disappeared and Jason was on the ground, wheezing from the action.

Groggily getting up Jason reached for the lantern but failed and knocked it over.

"Yess ... .thank…it worked."

"......fucking hell, I didn't...think it'd take…that much…..chakra."

After taking a breather Jason resumed and went yet again to grab his lantern, but paused when he saw something.

Just a few inches away he saw the title of yet another book. It read the 'Hattori Clan.' Grabbing the book Jason turned a page. In its first several words it read. "The history of the great Hatori clan…."

"Huh ... .It's clearly a book detailing the history and relevant discourse about the Hatori clan…rather my clan."

Jason thought a lot about the Hatori clan. Not once had his new father talked about what the clan was actually capable of in specific. He'd just hear great things about the clan and certain tales surrounding some members of the clan. Namely 'Hanzo."

Jason was no fool; he knew how much Kishimoto the mangaka of 'Naruto' loved incorporating real life Japanese mythology and lore into the Naruto universe. Hanzo could be one of these figures he'd taken from the real world or myth and incorporated into the story.

The 'Hanzo Hatori' of the real world that he knew of was an ultra-famous swordsman of great renown. The fact that to his knowledge the Hatori clan was never something prevalent in the show, or something that was even mentioned once like the Hagoromo clan was, further boosted his ongoing theory that this version of the Naruto world he'd been reborn into wasn't completely similar to the one he knew.

And regardless of the advantage he had with his future knowledge, he was some omniscient god as if his theory was right it wasn't a guarantee that this world was going to follow the series that he knew to a tee. That's why using his resources and getting an even bigger head start was extremely mandatory for Jason.

"My chakra is drained. I won't be able to seal this book in the scroll without passing out." Sighed Jason.

"This baby body of mine is super limiting and irritating." Though Jason.

"Hopefully one of those books has an answer to improving my chakra quantity."

Stuffing the book in the front of his shirt, and the scroll back in his pants Jason made his way back towards the desks, this time slowly opening the drawer making sure not to get another burst of CTE. After all his biggest advantage in this world would be his mind, and to damage that in any way would be extremely harmful to his goals. After returning the lantern to the desk, Jason walked his way to the front door.

Pressing his ears to the wall Jason heard nothing in the halls, quietly opening the doors locking them behind him, before making a break for it back to his room with a scroll of information concerning chakra and its plentiful usages.

(Little did he know this was the start of something legendary, plenty of nations in the near future would go through something similar as Amegakure that night, only what was stolen wasn't mere books pertaining to chakra, It was something far more valuable, something that would make them hurt and give the man at fault the title of 'Night Maraud.' One of the many titles of the "Rogue Lightning.")

While Jason scurried down the halls heart pumping from what he'd accomplished, He'd probably gone into cardiac arrest if he'd found out what happened a few seconds later after he left the office.

With a puff of smoke two figures that were previously the two flags of Amegakure and the Hatori clan walked out from the smoke before looking at each other.

One of the individuals was a woman known as Eisuke. Eisuke's often long purple hair was in a messy bun, with a silky black evening dress on. The other individual was a whitish gray haired man with deep black eyes and a long scar on his neck. Red marks could be seen all over body as he was top less.

Flabbergasted, the man stared. "Was that young master Hanarai?"

"I….think so…Yohan." Stuttered an equally flabbergasted Eisuke.

"But….what…was he doing."

"I mean…How…did he just….Do That." Stammered Yohan.

"Looks like there's a lot more to my cute nephew than I thought." Thought Eisuke.

With a kiss, Eisuke began running towards the door.

"We won't be finishing what we came here to do." Winked Eisuke, then his expression changed into a cold one.

"Don't tell anybody about what happened here."

Flinching back Yohan stammered.

"Tell them about Young master or the sea…." Before he could even get his sentence out a quick piercing gaze from Eisuke seemed to sober him up.

"Got it…my love."

(Creaaaaaak)

With the door closed behind her Eisuke took a right and began to jog towards a different part of the compound.

"I have to let Lord Hanzo know about this."
