CHAPTER 21

When Naruto and Nanako reached the hokage tower they saw two people standing and talking to each other.

One was a man who seemed to have a rotund build. He had spiky brown hair and a goatee. He had swirl like marks on both his cheeks. H wore  a red suit with plated armour on his torso, arms, and upper legs, having the same kanji for "food" on the front. He wore a red forehead protector with the leaf symbol and earings with studs.

Talking to him was another man who had narrow brown eyes that suggested he was either bored or annoyed. He had shoulder length black hair tied in a spiky pony tail. He wore the standard konoha-nin outfit. He wore studs in both of his ears.

These men were Choji Akakmichi of the Akamichi clan and Shikamaru Nara of Nara clan. Both of these clans were the two most famous clans of konoha. They had completed a mission and return to inform the hokage about it.

Both of them were talking to each other near the hokage tower when they say two people approch the tower. One seemed to be a young man and the other a young woman. Both of them had their heads covered with the hood of their jacket. Looking at the man and woman Shikamaru felt that these guys were bad news.

"What can we do for you?" Asked Shikamaru as he came in front of them.

The siblings stopped and looked at him. They smiled.

"We want to meet the hokage.....and issue a mission" The hooded man said as he smiled at Shikamaru.

"Can you tell us from where you are or who you are?" Shikamaru asked them again.

"We came from a Taine village which is near the borders of the Land of Fire and the Land of earth. As for who we are... I think we won't mention that to you. Now, If you may lead us to the hokage" Said the hooded woman.

Shikamaru and Choji looked at them for a few moment, then Shikamaru nodded his head and told them to follow him. Slowly the four of them went into the hokage tower.

In a different part of the village Kurenai and the shinobi had meet up with with the other shinobis from the Inuzuka clan like Kiba and his dog Akamaru along with his mother Tsume and her ninken, Shino from the Aburame clan, Neji from the Hyuga clan and few other shinobis like Rock Lee and his master Guy, Tenten etc. Currently they were finding the intruders. They asked the people around and found out that they saw two people amongst whom one was a man and the other woman, who seemed to be heading towards the hokage tower. After getting the Information they directly went towards the hokage tower without hesitation.

In the hokage tower;

Hiruzen Sarutobi was currently sitting in his office and checking some papers.

*Knock knock* Suddenly came a knocking from the doors. He lifted his head towards the door and said," Come in"

The door opened and four people walked in. Among them were Shikamaru Nara and Choji Akamichi who both were famous shinobis of their generation but what surprised him were the two other people who wore black hooded jacket and their heads were covered with the hood s if their jacket. The thing what amazed him was the fact that they were radiating power which normal shinobis couldn't feel.

"Who are these people?" Hiruzen asked to Shikamaru as he looked at these two strangers.

"They say that they came from Taine village and they would like to issue an mission" Shikamaru said as he pointed at the siblings.

"So what type of mission do you want to issue, is it to find someone or something or is it kill someone or some assassination. The fees will be charged according to the difficulty of the mission. But before that I would like to know who are you both?" Hiruzen asked as he put his hands on the desk and looked at the two strangers.

As Hiruzen said that, the man pulled down his hood which made Hiruzen stand up from his chair and open his mouth wide and with eyes filled with horror whereas Shikamaru and Choji had confused looks on their faces. The man said with a smirk, " My name is Uzumaki Naruto".

Currently in the distant land of Amegakure a cloaked figure was currently sitting in a bar and looking at the news paper he held in his hand. He was sipping his drink from the glass. The people around him were looking at him and whispering amongst themselves.

He read the news on the paper. In that he saw a certain article which interested him very much. In that article it was written that a certain Uchiha with his partner destroyed an entire village. They were the members of the akatsuki, Itachi and Kisami.

After reading that he drank the remaining drink and stood. The people were still looking at him. He lifted his right hand and suddenly a long katana with a sheath on it appeared in his hand. He pulled the blade out it's sheath and made a horizontal and diagonal cut in the air. On front of him two intersecting lines appeared in the shape of a cross. It was as if the blade had cut space itself. The cut expanded and transformed into a portal. The man looked at portal and said to himself," It's time I went back to the Konoha for some answers".

After saying that he entered into the portal. After he entered, the portal closed and nothing remained of the portal or the cut in space. When all of this was happening, the people were staring wide eyes and open mouth. They were completely flabbergasted but the events.

When this spectacular scene was over, the door of the bar was opened with a loud bang and from there several Amegakure's shinobis entered. They looked around and saw that the people were acting piculiarly.

"Hey you, what is going on here. We sensed a massive amount of chakra coming from this place?" The head shinobi asked a man who was currently sitting and looking at everything which happened.

" I...I don't k...know. I just saw a man cutting a hole in the air as he stepped into it and disappeared" He said in a shaky voice.

"What nonsense you are spouting?!!" The head shinobi rebuked the man angrily.

"B...but I...I am telling the truth. You can ask the others too" he said timidly as he pointed at the other people in the bar. They also nodded their heads in approval of the man.

Seeing this, the head shinobi frowned. He said in a solemn voice," Let's go and inform this to our superiors. Only they they find who was the person".

After that they all left to find their superior.
