Chapter 70 : Dizziness

When his consciousness returns to him, the first time what he feels is dizziness in his head followed by a throbbing feeling that really makes him uncomfortable.

Even though his eyes were still closed while trying to get used to the buzz in his head, he already guessed that he was in his room with his familiarity from the sound of his surroundings and the texture of the bed he was sleeping in.

After a while getting used to the constant buzz in his head, Kai finally tries to slowly open his eyes to the familiar if his own room that gave him a sense of security and comfort even though it was quite dark he eyes can quite well see in the dark.

Kai stares at the ceiling of his room trying to resist his urge to think about complicated stuff or anything that is going to make dizziness in his head getting a lot worse than it currently is.

Because what he currently needs is emptying his mind from thinking and focusing on his recovery especially reducing dizziness in his head.

Kai slowly starts emptying his mind followed by his body who is also slowly relaxing and finally his breathing becomes a lot more relaxed.

The more relaxed he was the more reduced dizziness that he felt on his head, when he became a lot more relaxed he started to feel a lot more sleepy, without him knowing he already fell again to his slumber.

Time passed by the sun finally showing itself hitting his face for quite some time that made him wake up from his sleep.

Feeling a lot better in his head Kai tried to get up from his bed but before he even touched his feet to the ground he heard the familiar flapping sound of his parrot from outside of his window followed by the panic sound of his parrot.

"Master Kai…, Wait…"

Kai looks at his parrot who is zooming to his room before landing on his bed and seems to be checking his body thoroughly.

After seems to already make sure there was nothing wrong with him, he was asked by his parrot to wait in the room until mother came before flying back to his window.

Kai, who doesn't want to make his mother more worried about his condition, chooses to stay in his bed and wait until his mother arrives.

After all, he had just been discharged from the hospital not long ago. It's not good to make unnecessary actions that might end up making his mother a lot more worried about him.

Not long after his parrot left from his window Kai already heard footsteps of someone walking on the hallway towards his room before he finally saw his mother opening the door and went inside his room.

He sees his mother who came with food in her hand followed by his parrot who is flying in the back holding a basket of fruit and some variety of nuts.

"Are you already feeling better Kai?'

"Yes mother, it feels a lot better after sleeping for a while."

"The medical-nin said that you need to rest a lot more and decrease the amount of activity for a while, can you do it for your mother?"

Hearing the voice of his mother who expressed concerns about his well-being filled his heart with a comfortable warmth that eased the dizziness in his head.

He can only nod to his mother's request that is beneficial to his own well-being, maybe except for slowly finishing his repeatable mission from his system every day, he is only going to try learning how to meditate.

"And Kai…"

Feeling his mother's hand on his head, Kai looked at his mother's face who was smiling towards him with a proud expression on her face.

"Congratulations for winning in this year's competition, your hard work finally paid off."

"Your mother is really proud of you."

"Thank you mother."

Kai hugged his mother with a happy feeling in his heart, after all he already tried really hard in his training.

If he does not get congratulations from his mother he knows that he is going to feel bitterness in his heart.

"Now eat your food to fill your stomach."

Kai ate the food that his mother gave him, which was porridge with olive oil and crumble of nuts.

The comfort food that warms his stomach, is easy to eat, and really healthy in nutrition.

Moreover, it is really tasty when he is in an unwell condition.

After he finished a big bowl of porridge his mother took the utensils and went back downstairs after assigning Ōmu to watch over him.

When he didn't hear any more footsteps Kai looked at his parrot who was currently sitting in the window while munching the nut that was supposed to be for him.

"Ōmu, how many underlings are you already training?"

"Master Kai I only found 2 who currently had enough potential to grow and have enough intelligence."

"Give some of your treats to make it smoother Ōmu, I'm going to ask father to get a lot more ingredients to make more treats, it's going to become easier when we provide good food."

After giving Ōmu more instructions for his upcoming plan Kai shifts his focus to his system because he still didn't know what he would get when winning first place in the exam.

Because he already unlocked his chakra and with the power he currently had getting first place is going to become a lot easier.
