Chapter 50 : Ordinary Looking Tree

Standing in front of what looks like an ordinary looking tree, Kai stared at it with his eyes that were a little empty and his mind was in a dazed state, his heart was in a chaotic state because of the bad promotion that he felt while looking at it.

He sees a tiny hole that is very hard to notice by someone if they are not looking at it specifically, located on a junction between a tree branch.

Moreover the tree itself that really looks like an ordinary looking tree makes it harder for someone to find it, even for himself that have instructions where to find it still feels a little hard to find.

In his hand, he was holding a weird looking little piece block of stone which had unknown engraving in it.

The little block of stone in his hand that seemed perfectly fit to the tiny hole that was on the tree.

He didn't understand one bit what the meaning of the engraving that was on the surface of this weird looking block of stone was but whoever made it, they wanted to hide something that meant to be quite impossible to find if they didn't have a clue where to find it.

That time he got it from a crow who seems to have intentionally dropped it in his head while he was running through the forest near his house.

He was a little upset at first but it turned into a suspicion about it when the first time he saw the design of the stone that looked really unusual.

But remembering the crow was the one who dropped it who was known for their intellect, he tried to think who might be the one who sent it to him.

The first thing that crossed his mind was the picture of someone he knew from his memory of his previous life that had a strong impression when in the context of a crow because in one of the pictures that he saw his face and the crow was separated in half.

Moreover he also knew that person and already met him in his new life twice.

When he tried to pick up the suspicious looking stone from the ground he was a little nervous, the moment his hand touched the stone he felt a sting of pain and he saw his blood come out and smeared the stone surface.

That time he realize that he already fucked up that was the first things that was come in his mind because his carelessness.

He was really panicking because of what was happening and wanted to throw it away, but before he could do that a bang sound was heard and a cloud of smoke showed up in front of him.

He sees the scroll which seems to appear out of nowhere at the ground in front of him, after waiting a little longer he didn't feel anything yet his heart calmed a little bit.

Because there's nothing happening anymore, Kai decided to pick who looks like a scroll that was on the ground.

Here he was standing at the exact same tree that the scroll was guiding him to in the forest that he only visited twice and that two times he always met Shisui.

Because after his second encounter with Shisui, Shisui seems to disappear from his sight and he never encounters him anymore in the following months.

Trying to insert the stone on his hand to the hole on the bark of the tree like the message on the scroll instructing him to Kai feels a little nervous about what is going to happen next.

The moment the stone was inserted, the weird marking was spread to the tree and formed a box size that opened itself.

After the hidden compartment was opened he finally saw what was hidden inside the tree trunks.

He sees a book that looks really fancy when his eyes fall upon it, and ordinary looking envelopes, and who seems to be a piece of paper that has a trace weird looking engraved in the side of it who seems to be the same as the stone that was dropped by the crow.

He was a little glad that no dead body was seen inside of it like what he first thought the moment he found this tree.
