Chapter 18: Findings.

Finally deciding I summoned a shadow clone.

"Deliver this to the village as fast as possible and dont get hit ok?" I said to the clone as I finished passing the information.

"Hai" said the clone as it disappeared in a blue blur.

"Now for you guys" I said as I turned around faintly seeing their departing backs before speeding up and following them.

10 minutes later they stopped next to a village in the middle of nowhere making me put up my guard even more.

"Birds POV"

"uhm Fukigen we have been flying this way for a while do we think we lost him?" asked the red beaked bird as they drank some water in a lake.

"Yeah probably, I dont think that stupid human would follow us all the way here we are pretty far from his domain" answered the white beaked bird known as fukigen as it had it full.

"well we should head back to the sage world we have been in the human world for far too long" said the red beaked bird.

"Why do we have to go back there huh? it just going to be boring stuff all over again untill we become old like the sage eagle" said Fukigen.

"but if we stay here for too long we might never have the chance to have a partner" said the red beaked bird.

"why does it matter nobody has found the summoning scroll for thousands of years!" yelled Fukigen frustratingly.

"Bu-" but before he could continue a purple wormhole appeared infront of them and before they could retaliate they were pulled in with so much force the ground on their previous spot cracked.

"what a waste of time" I said as I landed on the birds previous spot.

'A summoning scroll huh? I guess I have much more to look forward to rather than cannon starting' I thought as I observed my area.

And if your wondering why didn't I follow them into the portal, well I am fast enough right?.

Yeah I am.

but who would be stupid enough to enter the unknown? like what if there were stuff there that even in my full power I would be useless against and they might be even faster than I was and make my speed completely useless.

You see after my previous encounter with real danger I reflected on myself and realized how reckless i was to face off against so many ninjas when I could have waited and planned stuff out I just rushed in.

Even if discovering the unknown might be awesome there is also the chances that portal was a one way trip so what if I couldn't find my way back?.

'gotta head back to the village' I thought bringing myself out of my thoughts and disappearing in a blue blur.

12 minutes later I was closing in on the borders of the land of fire and as I get closer something kept bugging me.

'what is this feeling' I thought as i reached the borders and crossed it but then stopped a minute later when I saw a outpost that I was very familiar with.

This was the outpost my parents and sakumo usually go when finished with a mission in war and couldn't go back to the village.

the Air was kinda gloomy and silent making me quickly realize something was really wrong.

And as I got closer to the base I saw a body on the floor which gave me a rough idea of what might have happened.

"wait isn't that Badi san?" I said as I closed in on the body and looking at his face I was filled with a sense of dread.

Flashing out of existence I swept through the entire base and finding 2 other bodies in which belonged to cloud nin.

'How could they get through the borders and the leaf not knowing anything about this ambush' I thought as I brought the bodies of the cloud nins to the outside of the base.

"you fought well Badi san" I said as I covered him with a robe I found In the base.

Badi San was a nice but straightforward man and a jonin level ninja that I usually met with and talked to when i came to visit my parents or coming back from a mission outside the village borders, he always helped the people at the base when they start to get depressed from being so distanced from their family.

In which my parents were once before he helped them, but now he was dead fighting off 2 enemy ninja which were probably also jonin level individuals.

then memories came flooding into my head making be groan a little bit before suddenly realizing how all this went down.

speeding up I blurred out of existence moving towards the direction in which my clone was previously heading towards.
