John pressed on, his body feeling lighter and more powerful despite his young age. He was determined to find civilization and learn more about this world. He knew that the best way to do that was to find high ground and check his surroundings.
As he ran, the surrounding area started to become misty. The mist was thick and seemed to be closing in on him, but John paid it no mind and continued moving forward. After a while, he saw what appeared to be a village in the distance. He couldn't quite tell because of the mist, but he decided to investigate.
As he approached, he heard someone yell something at him. "John! My dear son, where have you been?" It was a skinny woman, who appeared to be starving and wearing dirty clothes, but as she came closer, he recognized her as his mother.
John was confused and didn't understand how he could be back with his mother, and how he had come back to life. He didn't remember anything of his past life, all he knew was that he woke up in the middle of the forest. He hugged his mother tightly and felt a mix of emotions, confusion and happiness.
"Mother, I don't remember anything. The last thing I remember is being lost in the forest." John explained. His mother hugged him back and explained that he had wandered off into the forest and got lost. She had been waiting for him everyday since then, hoping for his return.
John was overwhelmed by the new information and the memories that flooded his mind. He didn't know how he had ended up in this world or why he had been lost in the forest.
