2 Chapter 2: Arrival

Andeyas mountain range, Eastern Land of Fire

Shibai suddenly appeared in a forested area of a mountain valley many thousand meters up. The view was stunning. You could see tall rocky mountains covered by greenery on every side.

'This is it, The Naruto World. Where did I end up in?' Shibai wondered.

Shibai turned around trying to look for something but could only see a wooden hut behind him with a huge door that looked like it was made for giants. He was thinking whether or not to approach it but suddenly he heard a sound.

*Ding*

'What was that? Is that the famous system boot up sound?'

[Binding system to host…] A text appeared on a translucent blue screen before him.

[Welcome host, this is the Village Building System.]

He felt something twisting and turning in his mind. It wasn't painful but it was slightly uncomfortable feeling something invading your mind.

'Uhhh system, do you mind giving me a tutorial of your functions?'

[You are not allowed the complete system yet. You must first complete the 'Initialization Quest. But first, here's a little gift pack to get you started.]

'Alright open the pack please.'

'This… that's completely ridiculous, how is this a small gift pack?'

[Perfect Door Door Fruit: A devil fruit without the usual drawback of the sea. This devil fruit grants you your own dimension that allows you to open doors to anywhere you have previously visited. When the user of this fruit enters the dimension, they will be separated from the real world just like Obito's Kamui. It doesn't allow you to interact with the world unless you leave the dimension.]

'Blueno's devil fruit, I've always thought that this fruit had endless potential. It's perfect for spying and transporting people just what a future village leader would need. It doesn't do any damage by itself but a skilled fighter would be able to utilize this extremely well in battle. Just entering the dimension and appearing right beside your opponent would be incredibly hard to counter even with great reflexes.

'I don't know what to think about this. Wouldn't I already be the strongest just by completing the template? I'm not sure how 100% of Garp's strength would fare against the stronger Otsutsuki like Isshiki but it sure wouldn't be an easy fight. Add the devil fruit and chakra into the mix, I will surely become a great threat.'

'Do you happen to know where I am?

[Yes. You are in the Andeyas mountains in Eastern Land of Fire.]

'I've never heard of something like that.'

[Naturally, since the show explored almost nothing, there are surely lots of incredible things that you aren't aware of. The Andeyas mountain range is home to the second highest mountain in the world of Naruto, just losing to Mount Gofun of the Land of Demons by a few hundred meters.]

'That's incredible. This place is beautiful, I would like to build my future village here away from the rest of the world. Maybe I could set up some sort of system with my Door Fruit to transport people in and out of here.'

[That's certainly possible since this valley was enhanced by the system to be the perfect place to set up a village in. The nature is thriving here, there are lots of big lakes and reservoirs to get water from and the land is perfect for agriculture so farmers can make their living here. You can recruit regular people to your village by offering them safety from the harsh world and providing them jobs and then your shinobi won't have to do mundane work and can focus on getting stronger.]

'So it's all been planned out already, well I don't mind it. Thank you.'

'So what do I do now?'

[Do you wish to collect the gift pack items? You will be given a temporary inventory from where to acquire your devil fruit and earrings.]

'Oh yeah I almost forgot, give them to me.'

Shibai called out inventory within his mind and a screen with two items inside appeared. He quickly grabbed the devil fruit and exited the inventory. Holding the strange looking fruit in his hands he opened his mouth and took a small bite of it.

"Blueaghhdsfgh!" He tried to hold in the urge to throw up.

*Swallow*

'Phew I thought people were exaggerating the taste or it was just for comedic purposes but I don't think anything that disgusting exists in the whole multiverse. I'm glad it's over now.'

Having eaten the fruit you gained instinctive knowledge on how to use it so Shibai went straight to playing around with it. He disappeared from existence, moments later he walked out of a door a few meters away. Then walking up to a tree he made a door out of the wide trunk and walked through it.

'This is certainly amazing. Just moments ago I was on earth walking back home from my shitty job and now I'm playing around with magic.'

The tall tree was unstable from having most of its support turned into a door and began falling. Shibai noticed it and just made it out of the way.

'Oops have to be a bit careful. Hmm why did that feel so weird?

For the first time since arriving in this world he looked below at his own body and noticed that his limbs were quite short.

'Ahh what the hell I'm so small. System, can you give me my status?'

Writing is certainly hard and takes a lot of time atleast for me since im a complete beginner and mostly wing it while writing the chapter. This is it for the second chapter thanks for reading. I don't know what my update schedule will be I will just be writing when I feel like it but I wanted to ask if you wanted shorter chapters more frequently or longer chapters less frequently.
