Chapter 11 : Shunpo

Land of Iron, little village.

Unknown person POV

It had been nearly a week since we three began our mission to watch a team from my village, Konoha. This team had a jounin, an old man and three genins with two the heirs of the Uchiha and the Uzumaki's clans.

Our mission was to monitor them, and when arrived at the land of Iron, to take an opportunity to kill the two kids disguised as samurais.

Something was off during our travel. A feeling as we were constantly watched. We always stayed far enough to not be perceived. We were chosen by Lord Danzo because we are the top elites of infiltration.

But when we arrived near the village, this feeling rose up. It was oppressive, scary. We became more careful.

The third day in this village, we were still not found. Maybe it was just a negative intuition.

Like yesterday and the day before, the kids were training inside a giant hole. No one looking at them, they had nowhere to escape, and they used two shadow clones to optimize their trainig session. We can see they are exhausted. It was the perfect opportunity to kill them easly.

When their clones disappeared, we rushed to them with one of my teamate. No clones means no chakra and less mistakes to reach our target.

I attacked the Uzumaki boy with my katana. A perfect diagonal slash from his right shoulder to the left side of his abdomen. Unfortunatly, the brat avoided it at the last moment. He had good reflexes. To good for his age. I used my left leg to strike him, at least, I tried. I was blocked and could not move. Why ? My shadow ? But he is not from the Nara clan and Danzo-sama told us he could not make ninjutsus. Was the information incorect ? Impossible !

Suddenly, I saw a boy with blood covering his arms but with red eyes and a black pattern in front of me. Sharingan ? But he is only six !

The informations we had were for sure false but it is not a problem. They are just kids.

Before he could hit me, I could sense the shadow weaken. Of course he doesn't have enough chakra. My teamate and I did not think more and dashed to them with the intention to kill.

At the last moment, their bodies disappeared and appeared behind us. It was the last breathe I could take in this world. I wasn't able to accomplish my mission for Danzo-sama, for the greater good, for Konoha…

Isshin's POV

« Why don't we help them ? They won't survive Isshin ! » shouted my wife. We watched the kids dealing with what we saw the samurais from this Land. Of course we knew they were from Konoha's root. Firstly because they began to follow us when we left the leaf village, and lastly, because of the third guy I knocked out behind a tree.

« Oh look Masaki, the kid awakened his sharingan ! » I said happily.

Suddenly, something shocked my Quincy and I. Tatsuya and Itachi did their first Hoho. They dashed at an extrem speed. We call it shunpo.

With this technique, they were able to kill their opponent but fainted just after.

« We always become stronger near a death situation... » I murmured. I picked them a brought them at home. « We've got work to do » I continued looking at the third ninja.

The next morning, Isshin's house.

Itachi's POV.

I woke up, looked around and found out I was in the room we used to sleep in Insshin-sama's home. The sun was up meaning I slept all night. I had a big headache. But then, I recalled what happened yesterday. When we were about to leave, two men who seemed like samurai attacked us. It was so quick that we only had the time to dodge. Blood were flowing down my arms. But when I looked at Tatsuya, the opponent slashed his chest, I was afraid. We were in trouble. We could lose. We could die ! Suddenly, everyhing went clearer. I could see my enemy's movement really well. My eyes could follow him but not my body. At the last moment, I was able to kill him…

My first kill… But it was to save ourselves. To kill or to be killed. We made the good decision, right ?

'So Isshin-san was right. I need to become faster…'

When I looked around me, nobody was there. I stood up and went to the living room. When Masaki saw me, she rushed and hugged me. It was a good feeling. The same as with my mother.

« Are you okay ? Don't do something reckless like yesterday, okay ? Don't worry I already beat Isshin's ass for letting you doing this » she said with a big smile.

« Hey brat, you good ? Your arms still hurt ? » asked his husband, « A little, thank you for taking care of us. » I responded politely.

We ate, then seeing eveyone ready, we decided to leave to Konoha. I miss my brother…

General POV.

Everyone was ready to leave. Isshin and Masaki did their last goodbye to the villagers, they all thanked the couple for what they have done during all those years, some were even crying. The leaf village proposed them to come to Konoha but they refused saying that it was their hometown.

The travel was safe and fast. It only took them a few days to reach their village.

When they arrived, they reported what happened to the hogake and everyone could leave except Yuki, Isshin and Masaki with Ichigo in her arms. Even the ambu in the room had to leave.

« Why were there root ninja following us ? Tell me the truth Hiruzen ! » Isshin shouted.

« The thing his… I don't know... » said the 3rd hokage. 'What have you done Danzo my friend ?…'

« They tried to kill the two Uchiha and Uzumaki when we were not around. WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS ? If Danzo try to do that again, you won't see your lover, not even in your dreams, I will make sure of that ! »

« He his not my... »

« SHUT UP ! From the time beeing I advise you to put a leash to your friend. You don't want to have Fugaku Sakumo and me against your village, right ? »

Yuki did not say anything. He just looked at their reaction. He could not even move from the pressure Isshin put.

« Woaaaaah Woaaaaaah… »

« Oh my, Isshin-kun, you made Ichigo cry, let's leave to our new house, I think he understood what you said. »

« You are right, sorry Ichigo, I will give you sweets »

« YOU WILL WHAT ? » asked Masaki

« N.. Nothing.. Ahah… Goodbye oldman ! » then Isshin and Masaki went away.

« I think you can go Yuki-kun, thank you for your report and don't tell anything of what happened now okay ? »

« Yes Hokage-sama ! » he responded still chocked of the situation, then left.

Hiruzen then called an ambu, « MAKE DANZO COME NOW ! ».

The next morning, the two monsters were at their favourite place, the 21st forest training ground. They did the same training as in the land of Iron, but this time, with trees as obstacles.

Near them, on a tree, a teen with grey hair and a black mask watched them. It was Kakashi. He just came back from an ambu mission.

Looking at the kids, he could feel their determination to become stronger. As the time goes by, he was really surprised. They got stronger since the last time and Itachi already opened his sharingan. He approached them.

« Yo ! »

« Kakashi-san ! » responded the duo.

« Why do you want to become strong ? »

« To be able to protect our family and stop wars.»

« I lost uncle Minato and Kushina because I was not strong enough. I want to find my father but i'm not strong enough. I want to protect everyone. But I am not strong enough. So train is the only option. » said Tatsuya.

Kakashi was taken aback. He lost his sensei and his friends. He realised that he didn't make the right choice to just lay around at do ambu's mission. He was taught a lesson by a six year-old kid. He was ashamed. He just nod and asked « Can I join you on your training ? Maybe I can ask a friend of mine, he would also be happy. »

« Yes of course ! Help us become strong please ! » Itachi said.

Kakashi smiled and summoned a dog. « Call Gai please ».

A minute later, we could see somone running with stars in his eyes

« KAKASHIII YOU WANT TO BE YOUNTH AGAIN ??? LET'S TRAIN HARD !! »

« I didn't even say anything Gai… » Kakashi murmured. « Meet Itachi and Tatsuya, and kids, this is Gai, he will be your sensei in taijutsu from now on. »

« Hello Gai-sensei ! »

Gai hearing this name got fire in his eyes « YOUNTHHHH !! LET'S MAKE 10 TIMES AROUND KONOHA THEN 1000 PUSH-UPS !! » then began to run. No, began to sprint.

At night, two corpes were lying on the training ground. They were exhausted and could not move.

« Itachi, something happened after the fight before we fainted » declared Tatsuya. « I leveled up 4 times. »

Itachi was surprised. « You finally found a way to progress ? »

« Yes, I think it was when I kill the enemy. »

« I see, so we need to do assassination mission from now on... »

« Yes we should ».

« Let's go back home Tatsuya ».

« Yes ».
