Chapter 26 - Isobu

Under everyone's gaze, the worn-out Three Tails disappeared into a ray of light and entered Sukuna's forehead. 

Sukuna felt consciousness enter his brain and gritted his teeth in anguish, it only continued for a short moment before the pain subsided. 

He turned towards at Akai and said with a light smile and tired eyes, ''I will leave my body to you'' 

Akai nodded and appeared to Sukuna who fell backwards as his consciousness left his body. 

She caught him in her arms and slowly let him down, she removed the hair from his forehead. 

''Is he okay?'' Tsunade asked as she walked over with worry on her face. 

''Yeah, the fight was merely one part of his plan'' Akai said as she looked at Sukuna's face with a warm smile. 

''Akai-Sama, there is a village an hour away from here. We can go there and let Sukuna-Sama recover there'' A young lady with black hair and light blue eyes said politely. 

''Here is fine, he already told me we should stay here after the fight. It won't take long'' Akai nodded at the woman and put her attention back to Sukuna as the woman hesitated before she asked, 

''Did Sukuna-Sama already decide who its Jinchuuriki would be?'' 

Akai looked away and sighed while Tsunade gave her a curious look, at that moment a nonchalant voice sounded out from behind them, 

''Isn't that obvious? He will do it himself'' Yurito looked at the woman and Tsunade as if they were idiots and looked at Akai who didn't deny it while gritting her teeth, 

''The fact that you didn't speak up says enough Akai, the Clan needs a weapon, a human weapon and only he is crazy enough to mix a Tailed Beast, the Sharingan and Hashirama's Bloodline into one. We rely on him while he can't rely on any of us'' Yurito said with a cold yet frustrated tone. 

''But then, what is he going to do now?'' Tsunade asked as she raised her eyebrow. 

Yurito shot her a cold look as he turned around and walked away, not bothering to respond to Tsunade which made her sigh in frustration. 

She had already expected that this wasn't nearly enough for what she had done, but getting the cold shoulder like this by her own clan truly hurt. 

'Kid, just what the hell are you planning' Tsunade's curiosity was peaked as she remembered the Cloud Village's Jinchuuriki....

The Three Tails felt its consciousness blur as it appeared in a huge lake similar to the one he had been in before the Senju's attacked him while his body was in perfect shape somehow. 

Before it could let it sink in, a blur of light appeared before it. 

The light slowly died down as a figure appeared the Three Tails knew all too well by now, it's now recovered recovered full of hatred as it looked at Sukuna. 

"Damn you humans! You all never change!'' The Three Tails roared angrily as Sukuna had a bitter smile on his face, 

''Sadly, we don't'' 

The Three Tails was momentarily taken aback, but still tried gathering Chakra yet somehow was unable too. Its eye opened in surprise, and it got ready to swing its tails until Sukuna's voice rang out. 

''Isobu, I just want to talk. For real this time'' Sukuna sighed and sat on the shore of the lake. 

Isobu's huge body trembled as it asked coldly, ''How do you know that name'' 

''Shukaku, Matatabi, Isobu, Son Gokū, Kokuō, Saiken, Chōmei, Gyūki, Kurama. I know all of your names unfortunately'' Sukuna said with a bitter sigh. 

Isobu's cold voice rang out, ''Even we Tailed Beast have names, you think we don't deserve those?'' 

''The opposite, Hagoromo was quite the figure to splits the Ten Tails into Nine different Tailed Beasts'' Sukuna said seriously as Isobu slowly relaxed its body. 

''How much do you actually know about us?'' Isobu asked with a serious tone as Sukuna gave it a deep look before answering, 

''Do you want to know everything?'' 

Isobu looked at Sukuna as it lowered its guard and nodded. Sukuna sighed as his Sharingan spun and put the Three Tails in a Genjutsu, show the memories he gained to him. 

Isobu felt the world spin around him as his vision blurred once more, the following hours was filled with happenings Isobu knew were real yet hoped to be a lie. 

Another Great Ninja War, him being captured once more, the ten tails, Kaguya, Ótsutsuki clan, everything. 

Sukuna saw the huge beast come to its senses as its eyes looked bewildered and complicated as it looked back at him. 

''So this is why you sealed me first?'' Isobu spoke up after a few seconds of silence as Sukuna nodded, 

''You can differentiate between a Genjutsu and reality. I'm not an idiot that expects you to believe a human, a race who has used you for generations with an unrealistic story like this'' 

''You could've gone atleast go about it a more gentler way'' Isobu refuted with a bitter tone as it still felt the sensation of its eye being cut in half. 

Sukuna gave him a bitter smile and said, ''Sadly, that's impossible'' 

Isobu asked with a confused tone, ''What do you mean?'' 

''Despite their love for me, they would rather see me die on my white horse than see me fall to the ground'' 

Sukuna looked at it and continued, ''I would practically have to beg you to listen to me. Besides that, there is the risk of you not believing anything and try to flee or die trying. Then the information I showed you would be out in the open'' 

Isobu looked at Sukuna and questioned with a deep look, ''So why did you capture me? So that the Akatsuki aren't able to or to make use of me as well'' 

''Both. I want you to lend me your power. However, I won't restrict you. After everything is over, I will let you leave if you want to'' Sukuna honestly replied. 

Isobu looked at Sukuna with a deep pondering look as Sukuna interrupted his thoughts and said, ''You don't have to make a choice now, you can think about it. I recreated the lake you were in, so you truly have a piece of mind and don't have to worry about humans hunting you all the time.'' 

Sukuna was ready to leave the mind space as Isobu spoke up, ''Wait a second''. Sukuna looked up at it as it asked, 

''Are you planning to capture more of my brothers and sisters?'' Isobu asked with an emotionless tone. 

''Yes'' Sukuna instantly replied which made Isobu confused as to how honest he was. 

''Why?'' 

''Because my clan needs a weapon, otherwise every person in my clan will be slaughtered'' Sukuna said seriously which caused Isobu to be disappointed, 

''Please leave, I have no interest in being treated as a weapon again. I will stay here quietly so you don't have an extra burden weighing you down'' 

''I think you're misunderstanding something....'' Sukuna said with a raised eyebrow as Isobu to look at him with confused expression, 

''You're not the weapon, I am'' Sukuna said seriously which caused Isobu to be even more confused. 

''My ancestor gave you Tailed Beasts away while the other one asked money for it. You are a deterrent for war between the Village's. My clan needs a deterrent too, but with or without you, I will make sure I will become that deterrent'' Sukuna said as his red eyes glowed ominously. 

''….How can I trust you'' Isobu asked after a light pause. 

''I will show you everything up until now'' Sukuna seriously said as Isobu nodded his head. Sukuna's eyes glowed red as his Sharingan started rotating, showing Isobu everything up until now. 

From his birth, to his younger days, to his dream becoming the Senju Patriarch and..... killing his parents. 

''Y...you're only eleven years old?!'' Isobu's shocked voice sounded through the mind space as Sukuna nodded. 

''Ha...haha....HAHAHA'' Isobu started laughing loud enough to cause tremors over the water, "I thought you were merely small considering you're their leader. But I was wrong!'' 

Sukuna looked at Isobu with an emotionless gaze as the huge creature looked at him, ''I will lend you my power, as long you promise me you will honor your promise. Reunite me with all my brothers and sisters!'' 

''I swear upon my name, I will'' Sukuna said seriously as he felt his feet sink in the water as Isobu's maddened voice sounded through his head, 

''Don't underestimate us Tailed Beasts, human. Enjoy taking a bath'' 

Sukuna's body sank under water, but even when his head disappeared into the water, he didn't suffocate... 

Instead, the water was a kind of liquid. A liquid Sukuna felt that was too similar to Chakra....

''What is happening?'' Tsunade asked as a light blue Chakra seeped out of Sukuna's body. 

''GET AWAY!'' Akai yelled as she lightly put Sukuna onto the ground. Everyone obeyed and hastily vacated the area. 

A massive oppressing feeling suddenly filled their hearts as Sukuna's body was completely covered by the light blue Chakra. 

The ground around him started to crack as his eyes suddenly opened, he slowly stood up and looked at his own hands. 

'So this is the power of Tailed Beast combined with my own huh?' Sukuna opened and closed his fist as he stomped the ground, creating a small crater. 

On top of his shoulders were light blue curved spikes while on top of his head was the same halo his Susanoo had. A light blue cloak adorned his body as well as a third beastly eye that seemed to increase his affinity with nature itself. 

[So this is how a human with my power looks huh] Isobu's voice sounded through Sukuna's mind as he said, ''It seems like it'' 

[Don't forget your promise human] 

''I know'' Sukuna replied as he looked at all the Senju's that backed away from his Chakra outburst. 

'Now, how will you respond to this Danzo' Sukuna had a maddened grin covering his face as he undid Bijuu Mode and walked towards the group who hastily dashed towards him. 

However, instead of being happy with their success. They knelt on the ground which caused Sukuna to raise an eyebrow, 

''What are all of you doing'' 

None of them replied for a minute before Yurito spoke up loudly, ''Thank you leader!'' 

As he spoke up, everyone else started yelling the same thing. Tsunade looked at them with a shocked expression but could understand why. 

Sukuna sighed and said, ''We only have a deterrent right now, don't be happy too soon'' 

''Still, we robbed you of y-...'' Yutiro wanted to speak but Sukuna interrupted him with a light smile, 

''Lets go home'' 

They all looked up before another person spoke up, ''Please let us apol-...'' 

''ENOUGH!'' Sukuna's angry voice sounded out as he looked at them, 

''Stop putting your perspectives onto me as if they were my feelings! I choose this path and I will finish it, BY MY OWN CHOICE! You all had no influence on my decisions, so shut up and follow me home'' 

Tsunade looked at the sky as she felt that she finally understood why they were all so obsessed with him. 

'It seems that I have some apologizing to do....' Tsunade sighed as she saw all the Senju's carefully getting up. 

Sukuna looked at them with a satisfied expression, ''that is better'' 

''Should we rest somewhere first?'' Akai asked with a doubtful expression. 

''It's better if we go home first, I'm uneasy about being away for too long'' Sukuna said as he put a hand in front of his head, 

''Besides, it's time for the Senju's to create some carnage''
