''What do you mean?" The woman asked in confusion while thinking back to what they saw a few moments ago.

When the child died, they saw his memories. Vivianne wasn't oblivious and knew that the man knew of the child's world.

The youth tried to talk but felt an invisible force stopping him from opening his mouth.

"Since you want to put my soul in his body, you have a way to revive his body in his world, right?'' The tall man as he walked towards the youth.

"I do, but that is due to your accomplishments in your world. I can use your karma to restore his body and give you a chance to live again" Vivianne said with slight anxiousness, as if she already knew where this was going.

The tall man patted the youth on the head, which made the youth sweat in nervousness, he was too confused to properly register what was happening. Death, strange people, an infinite tranquil sea with a beautiful uncontaminated sky, a weird man talking about taking over his body in his world.

The man just smiled warmly and ruffled the youth's hair for a bit before turning back to the woman and said, ''Give him my memories instead, recover his body and give him a second chance''

The woman facepalmed her beautiful face and said, ''I won't waste our time with trying to get you to reconsider, but tell me why''

The man smiled warmly which gave the youth a soothing feeling which calmed him down considerably for some reason.

"I'm satisfied Vivianne, I just want to rest at this point. His dreams are his to make true. Besides, you need someone to keep you company too, right?" The man said with the same warm smile on his face.

''You truly are hopeless case, but definitely the most interesting human I've encountered so far'' Vivianne shrugged her beautiful shoulders and looked at the youth.

''In all honesty child, I wish not to do this. But it seems like he has made his decision already. So I will give you his memories, in turn I want you to make me a promise'' Vivianne said with a warm smile.

The youth just looked at her in confusion as the woman put her pale hand on the chest of the man and his.

''I want you to make your dreams a reality, do not waste this chance" The woman smiled beautifully which caused the youth to look at the man in confusion and shock, the man merely smiled warmly and put a hand on his head.

The youth couldn't help but tear up, he was getting another chance? Just like that, someone he didn't even know was sacrificing his chance on a second life, to take over his body and live, was sacrificing that chance for him.

A beautiful white light shone through the woman's hand as the youth and the man felt their visions warp. The tall man started speaking one last time, ''Listen kid, you owe me nothing. But I'm sure you know how I think after gaining my memories, just make sure to blur some out though.''

The youth looked at the man who merely gave a playful smile, the youth's mouth slowly opened and a stuttering voice came out.

''T...t..n...k...y-'' Before the youth could finish or say any valid word, he disappeared.

The woman looked at the child's place in shock while the man merely gave her a playful smile.

''Shut up'' The woman gave the man a cold smile while the man started laughing out loud.

The woman gave a light smile and started following the man on his journey across the endless tranquil sea.
