I might be mistaken but wasn't the second war the longest at more than 10 years and the third was only around 5?
Pretty much, Yes. the thing is, once you start asking if life and everything in it boils down to something both extremely broad and conceptual then the answer will almost always be 'Yes'. Depending on how you view 'Violence' as a concept you could easily call it Competition, Struggle, Progress, Potential, and other things while still having it all mean the same thing. Life without any form of Violence isn't Peace, Stasis, or even Stagnancy, it's Death. It's not the type of death experienced by the Dying, because they still struggle to stay alive in one way or another. It's what comes after the last breath has been taken, after the light fades and never shines again, after the last record of existence has vanished. Life is Violence in all its meanings and permutations, that's why it's a question and never the answer. The only correct answer to a conceptual question of "Violence?" is "How much and of which kind?". Saying not "No" is inherently wrong because even the act of disagreeing could be seen as a type of violence.
Fishy?!
Are they really suicidal if they're undead? self destructive yes, but suicidal?
