Jiro made the first move.
"Ninja art: Spiked Human Bullet Tank"
Jiro first utilized the multi-size technique to expand into a boulder-sized ball before elongating his hair, enveloping his entire body. The chakra stimulated hair hardened into needle-like senbon, converting his large frame into a destructive weapon. He then propelled himself into a powerful roll towards Hiromi who didn't budge an inch and just put both her hands forward.
The rolling Jiro kept spinning on Hiromi's hands which led to the needle-like hair puncturing her hands but Hiromi just kept biting herself to heal. She managed to stop his rolling.
"Now it's my turn" said Hiromi who picked Jiro who was shaped like a ball.
"Gluttonous Guillotine Drop"
She jumped into the air high above and put jiro below her so that he would take all the damage from the fall and tried to screw drive him to the ground but Jiro didn't give up.
"Ninja art:Big-Boned Bind" He elongated his arm and hand and then grappled Hiromi. Both of them fell to the ground at the same time which resulted in the cracking of ground.
There was a lot of smoke in the area due to their fall and once the smoke cleared, both of them were unconscious.
"This battle is a tie! No one goes to the next round." announced Genkai.
The audience clapped for these two for putting up a brilliant fight.
"That Akimichi boy had a lot of heart and grit." said Hashirama clapping
"Do I still get the barbeque from the bet?" asked the Akimichi clan head.
Yoriichi went to check over Jiro and he was relieved after the doctors told him he was fine just a little injured and might have a slight concussion due to falling on the head.
"The last battle of this round is between Hito kaminari vs Chino Chinoike"
"Looks like it's time for your son to get some beating." said the Damiyo of land of fire to the Damiyo of land of water who just snorted.
"Begin"
"Earth style: Earth spikes" Hito made the first move.
Chino just dodged at and opened her ketsurgyan and threw various shurinken towards Hito who dodged almost all of them. But one of them managed to grace him.
Chino smirked at that and used her ability to control his blood to control his movements. Following her control, Hito put out a kunai from his pouch and put it on his neck.
With that, Genkai declared Chino the winner.
"The people who are going to the next round are Yoriichi Uzumaki, Itsuki Kenda, Chino Chinoike, Fumiko Kurama, Kiyoshi Watanabe, Ayaka Yuki and Kin Chinoike. One of you will skip the next round and move directly to the semi finals based on the lots. Please come to the stage to draw out your opponents for the next match."
After everyone drew their lots, Genkai announced the matches for the next round.
The match ups were like this.
1.Yoriichi Uzumaki Vs Ayaka Yuki
2. Chino Chinoike vs Kin Chinoike
3.Itsuki Kenda Vs Fumiko Kurama
4. Kiyoshi Watanabe directly progresses to the semi- finals
"There is a break for half an hour before the next round starts." He declared
"What a wonderful tournament it has been!" said the First Kazekage Reto.
"Should we announce the news right now Tobirama?" asked Hashirama excitedly
"Go ahead" Tobirama answered
With that Hashirama stood up and addressed the crowd who stopped chatting and listened to the God of Shinobi attentively.
"With great pleasure, I announce that the hidden leaf village is also going to establish its own Shinobi academy this year. Someday we might have a competition between our fellow academies." He said and the crowd went into an uproar.
"I have another news to tell you all. For the peace of the Shinobi world, the first kage summit will be held in the Land of Grass in three months from today. I humbly ask all the Kages present here as well as not present here to attend it for the future of our villages and for the continued peace of the Shinobi world."
There was an even bigger uproar from the crowd. This time even the Kages were surprised by this.
"What will be discussed in this meeting?" asked the first Tsuchikage, Ishikawa Kamizuru to Hashirama.
"We will discuss how to improve our relations between each other, how to facilitate trade, how to deal with clans and Shinobis that are not part of any village. This meeting is not only for the great Shinobi villages but also for the small shinobi villages and address their issues." answered Hashirama
"Peace is for cowards, Shinobi can only thrive in war. We want war." said Ginkaku
A sudden pressure enveloped the entire stand where the representatives from all the villages were seated and especially Ginkaku and Kingaku who fell down on their knees.
"Is that so? You want war? Do you have any idea how many lives are lost in war? Do you know how many siblings I have lost in this so-called War? War is only about suffering and pain. I created the hidden leaf to stop wars, not to have wars on a larger scale between Shinobi villages."
"I am sorry for losing my cool there." said Hashirama releasing his pressure from the people affected.
'So powerful!' thought the first Kazekage Reto, a little scared of the first Hokage's power.
'So this is the power of the God of shinobi.You can't even breathe in his presence' thought Mû.
Ginkaku and Kingaku just silently walked off without saying anything.
"So I hope you two will be coming to the Kage summit Kazekage dono, Tsuchikage dono." asked Hashirama to them.
"This is a great initiative lord Hokage, we will definitely come." said both of them still scared from his power.
With that the thirty minutes break got over and it was time for the quarterfinals.
"The first match is between Yoriichi Uzumaki and Ayaka Yuki. Please come to the arena." announced Genkai.
Both of them entered the arena under a huge cheer from the crowd.
