28 Time skip 2 years and choosing subjects

Two years have passed since I started going to academy and started training with my four friends.

They all have improved tremendously under my tutelage ofcourse. Itsuki developed his own taijutsu which would help him use his insects in a taijutsu fight also. It's really a scary and a creepy form. He would use his insects to hinder the eyesight or when he would punch or kick someone he would place a insect on that person's body. Each variety of insect had a different effect. Chino managed to increase her speed and her chakra control was fabulous and surprisingly Kaito also made the same progress in speed and chakra control as Chino. While Jiro still had issues in chakra control, His physical strength was increasing at a rapid rate along with his mastery in Akimichi clan techniques.

As for me, I am trying to master the 11th form of water breathing. It's a lot different than any other form of any breathing. Also it is further divided into two forms while one of them was not even in anime. And personally I like this new addition.

The first form is called dead calm. The user ceases all body movements and enters a state of complete tranquility, deflecting, blocking and cutting any incoming attacks with imperceptible speed with their blade. It's what I would call a perfect defence. There would be a water shield protecting you from everything. It's kind of similar to gaara's sand defence.

Now the new addition to this form is called 'Trapped In Ocean'. It's an entirely different move. It's a Genjutsu move which would trap a person in a middle of Ocean unable to anything. And to make a person fall in this Genjutsu I would have to do some sword movements which will make a person after seeing the sword. The victim only has to see the sword for a second during this time to fall in Genjutsu. It will take time for me to work on it. Currently I have mastered the first form but the second form would take a lot of time to even learn it. I have been trying to train the breathing techniques so that I can use thm back to back without much problem. I started to learn fire breathing by the end of academy I would have completely learned it. This is taking this much time because I have so much on my plate so I can't just focus on this.

Anyways I am currently in the academy. Daisuke Sensei is telling us about the different subjects we will have to choose from which we will learn for the next 3 years in the academy.

"You will have three permanent subjects which everyone would be studying - Taijutsu, Ninjutsu and 101 ways to be a good Shinobi which would include traps, living in wild etc."

"You will have to choose atleast 2 subjects from all the additional subjects. You can choose more than 2 if you think studying only 2 subjects are not enough."

"So the additional subjects are - Genjutsu, Kenjutsu, bukijutsu, medical ninjutsu, poison arts, Puppet arts, Sensory, Leadership and Warfare and fuinjutsu."

"Choose the subjects and tell me by the end of day." With that Daisuke Sensei left the class.

"Which subjects are you going to choose?" Jiro asked

"I think I will choose Kenjutsu and poison arts. I really like how Yoriichi uses his sword and I want to develop my own sword style besides it will help me in close combat. Poison arts because I think it will be really helpful for me and my insects." Itsuki said

"I am going to choose Genjutsu and Puppet arts. Both because they will really help me with my Dojutsu.What would be you choosing Jiro?" Chino said

"I would be choosing fuinjutsu and bukijutsu because I don't think I would be suited for anything else." Jiro said

"Hmm, I would go with poison arts and medical ninjutsu since I am already good with kenjutsu so that's rull out bukijutsu too. My father is teaching me fuinjutsu so I don't think the academy would be able to teach me better than him.I will unlock my eye of kagura so that makes sensory useless. I don't think I am suited for puppet arts and leadership. So that leaves me with medicine ninjutsu and poison arts. One of main weakness is poison so I want to know how to treat myself from the poison and even make and use my own poisons." I said

'My Dojutsu would be able to shrink wounds or even my body with my superior regeneration can heal wounds. But I would not be able to shrink poison in my body. So I need to know how to counter such things and heal myself or other if someone is getting poisoned.'

"What about you Kaito?"

"Huh me, *Yawns* I guess I will go with leadership and warfare since it will be mostly theory and I would be able to sleep in class. For the same reason I will be choosing fuinjutsu." He said

*Yawns*

"Why are you always so lazy Kaito?" I could not help but ask

"Do you respect your mother Yoriichi?" Kaito asked me which really confused me

"Yes" I answered

"Laziness is the mother of all bad habits. But ultimately she is a mother and I should respect her." He said

I was dumbfounded.

'Shikamaru is this your previous reincarnation?'

Anyways, We went to Daisuke Sensei to inform us of our choices.

"Sensei, We have decided the subjects we are going to take." Jiro said

"Oh, Very good. Tell me the subjects you have chosen one by one with your reasons for choosing them." He said

We told him about our subjects along with reasons.

"Very good, You four can go and kaito you have to give me a good reason for your subjects or I will be deciding three subjects for you outside of what you chose."

"What a drag" Kaito said

With that we went back to the class enjoying Kaito's misery.
