Start of the Chaos

---Kumogakure--

Raikage read the scroll that was delivered to him by the Uzushiogakure envoy.

He was flabbergasted at what was written on the scroll. Kusagakure had a sage of six paths artifact that could control someone of Genkai Uzumaki's caliber which was the most outrageous thing that he had read in the scroll. Apart from that, the battle to free Genkai from the mind control led to the destruction of the entire prison.

It was also stated that the head warden and kusagakure were using the prisoners as a sacrifice to use the said artifact.

"What should we do Raikage sama?" One of the village's elders asked

"We would be sending a platoon of our shinobi to both escort our country's prisoners back to the village since there are no guards left alive and they would also investigate and confirm whether the claims made by Uzushiogakure are true or not." Ã said

"Raikage sama, we should take advantage of the fact of this chaos, Everyone would be too focused on the Land of Grass and this incident that they would ignore the situation in the Land of Frost. Uzushiogakure would be busy with this incident. Iwa, Kiri, and Suna would fight among themselves for the Land of Grass while Konoha would try to stop them. This is the best time to seize the opportunity." An elder from the storm release clan with eyes full of wisdom and cunningness proposed this idea to which the other elders agreed.

An elder that belonged to the Kinkaku and Ginkaku faction then spoke up "What about the artifact that let them control the shinobis? Are we going to let them keep it? What if they use it against us?"

A murmur broke among the crowd after they heard that.

"The Uzukage had stated that the box would be safe with them and he even said that he would use the box if necessary if the village is threatened. He knew that the other villages would not like them to keep it and would want the box for themselves so he had specifically stated that the box is their spoil of victory and they are not going to give it up at any cost." Raikage solemnly said

"Should not we pressurize them to give up the box and let a neutral country like the land of Iron have it before we steal it from them without gaining any suspicion?" An elder proposed

"Not a great idea. Uzushiogakure would not be pressurized easily. Even if Kiri and Iwa joined us in this matter, Konoha and Suna would side with Uzushiogakure. Konoha because of obvious reasons and Suna because Uzushiogakure provides them with water and crops." Another elder objected

A back and forth continued between the elders before à decided to end the meeting "We would focus on the Land of Frost while sending a few of our troops to make it look like we want to get our hands on the Land of Grass. In reality, We would send our real forces disguised as bandits or mercenaries or bounty hunters in the land of snow to weaken them before we annex them."

Similar discussions were being held in Iwa and Suna who too sent their shinobi to bring back their prisoners and investigate whether what Uzushiogakure said was true or not.

The shinobi were also going to deduce whether Kusagakure was weak enough for them to take a piece of their land or not.

They also gave a mission to some of their village historians to find out more about this box and whether letting Uzushiogakure keep control of the box of ultimate bliss might be dangerous for them or not.

Kiri too wanted a piece of the land of grass but more than that, they had finally got a reason to have other villages move against Uzushiogakure and support them. The Mizukage send letters to various small villages as well as Kumo and Iwa to request an alliance between them against the actions and 'tyranny' of Uzushiogakure.

Konoha supported Uzushiogakure after Ashira had told the entire story to Hashirama in person. He had teleported to Konoha with the help of Yoriichi to discuss this matter.

Both Hashirama and Tobirama realized what could have happened if such an artifact and beast went into the wrong hands.

They came to the conclusion that the box was not meant to mind control people but the sage's chakra that was present in the box had mixed with the vile chakra of Satori which corrupted the box that led to this.

They discussed the safety measures of the box of ultimate bliss before discussing what should be done with the prisoners and the chaos that was going to be caused in the Land of Grass.

They decided to support Kusagakure and protect it from the threats until it becomes self-sufficient to protect itself.

-----Somewhere in the land of Fire---

A Man was quietly sitting by the river watching the birds chirp and fishes swim in the river.

He suddenly frowned as he got memories of his shadow clone that he had sent to collect some information.

"Even a minor village now has become so much more ambitious. With all the villages starting to move, what would you do now, Hashirama? Your naivety would cause you pain and I can't wait to see the expression on your face when you realise how naive you were. But an artifact that could control people sounds interesting. Well, It seems that it is the perfect time for me to move too." The man said to himself as he got up from his spot.

He was ready to start acting upon his plans.
