It's time to become a Shinobi

One year has passed since I awakened my Dojutsu. I am 11 years old now and it was time for me to become a Shinobi.
It was also time for the Genin tournament today.
A temporary arena was made for the tournament. It was the first time that the Genin would graduate on the basis of a tournament.
Damiyos from various countries, merchants, nobles, clan heads from Uzushiogakure, other clans which have not joined any village and people from different lands have come to watch this tournament. Since many kids from influential clans and from Damiyo families are participating in it, it has gotten a lot of attention.
Anyways during this one year, I worked with my Dojutsu although I am still at stage-1, I am more comfortable and better at using it.
I worked on my eye of kagura which had a range of 1 km when I awakened it and have managed to increase it to 5km right now.
Along with that I have worked with dad to learn more about ninjutsu and fuinjutsu. Although I am still a level 3 fuinjutsu expert, but I have gotten much more versatile. And I have learned a few more jutsus.
I have not got much time to work on poison arts and medical ninjutsu.
I have made the most improvement in my sword Breathing techniques. I have learned all three breathing techniques except the 11th breathing form of both lightning and fire. Now I can also use the breathing techniques back to back now.
I have got two new katanas for this tournament since Muramasa is too sharp and I don't want to slice these poor kids with it. These katanas are made out of 30 percent chakra metal and also with one of the hardest metals but it's not very sharp.
I geared up and wore my red haori with black hakama over an orange kimono and a katana worn on my hip. I also wore the hanafuda earrings that were gifted to me by dad to protect me from sharingan copying ability.
I also wore something like a batman belt with shinobi pouches on both the sides. It had fuinjutsu ink, scrolls with fuinjutsu, empty scrolls, talismans, paper bombs, kunai and shurinken.
I had kept my long red hair in a ponytail, not covering my demon slayer mark as the red fire like mark was shown in its full glory.
Although I still haven't managed to use it. I wonder what all I should do to awaken it.
Anyways after I got ready, I went to have my breakfast.
"Yoriichi my boy, You better beat those kids from the clans of those old fogies. I can't wait to brag to their face hahahaha" Grandpa said
"It's going to be a walk in the park for Yoriichi dad." Dad said
"My baby is going to kill it." Mom said proudly.
"Grandpa, Is anyone coming from other villages?"
"Mito is also coming to watch this tournament with that wood pecking bastard Hashirama, Tobirama and his genin team, Hyuga clan head and elders, Uchiha elders and some other representatives of konoha. The Kazekage along with some other members from Suna are also coming to watch it."
"Ishikawa Kamizuru, the Tsuchikage along with Mu of the Dust release and his disciple Onoki and other clan heads from Iwa are coming too. Only some representatives are coming from both Kumo and kirigakure. This is going to be a big event." Grandpa said
"I hope everything goes fine and there are not any issues." I said
"Don't worry, the security will be very tight. You don't have to worry about it. Just do your best in the tournament." Grandpa said
With that after giving my family a hug and after they told me good luck, I went to meet my friends at the academy grounds.
When I reached there, Chino started shouting
"Yoriichi, Today I will kick your ass. You will see my greatness."
Chino said arrogantly. She was carrying a gourd with her which carried a huge amount of iron rich water with the help of storage seals.
"We will see." I answered. She has grown strong too, along with her mastery in using her Dojutsu, Ketsuryugan. She learned puppet arts in the academy and managed to combine it with her Dojutsu, a fearsome ability to have.
"My friend, I won't be holding back against you friend. Please be careful." said Itsuki ever so silently. He was in a hoodie which covered his entire body. I am sure he has a lot of his little friends hidden on his body. But the most surprising thing was that he was carrying a katana on his hip.
This guy with my help obviously, managed to create his own insect breathing. I taught him the sword movements and total concentration breathing. In fact I taught total concentration breathing to all of them for the past 5 years to improve their physical attributes.
Itsuki uses his own breeded insects in his insect breathing.He is going to be another tough opponent.
"Yoriichi, You will have to treat me to barbeque if I win against you." Jiro said with a drool over his face.
"Sure" Jiro also has gotten a lot stronger. He is going to be a surprise package with his Akimichi and Uzumaki lineage and their respective techniques.
"Where is Kaito?" I asked
"Oh, he is late. When I went to his house to go to the academy together, his mom said he was still sleeping." Jiro told me.
Seriously Kaito didn't change one bit in all these years. But he would be a tricky opponent with his Crystal release. He also has learned Fuinjutsu and Medical Ninjutsu in the academy. With his IQ, he would be extremely lethal.
With that we decided to go to the arena.
