Calm before the storm

"Its no problem sensei, you could tell her the ability of my eye." Yoriichi said after noticing Hiromi asking Genkai about the powers of his eye.

"Hmm, If you say so. You see, Yorrichi eyes have the ability to minimize things. He could minimize anything made out of chakra as long as he looks at the thing excluding living beings. He could then store those minimised things for future use in a space-time pocket dimension. Right now, he minimised the thunderclouuds and stored them in it. Thus, he could use it by dropping it in a city and making the thunderclouds big again, destroying an entire city. Oh and by the way, he himself named his dojutsu as Dharmagan."

"As for what jutsus, he is weak to are which he cant see or jutsus which focus on quantity rather than quality. Since he has to look at the jutsu to minimise it, if there are too many of the 'things' attacking him then he would not be able to minimize them all." Genkai said

"An example of such a jutsu is the shadow shurinken jutsu. But such jutsus can't do much damage to Yoriichi considering he can use his barrier or Earth style to defend against it." Genkai explained

"What about those black rods?" Hisame asked this time

"This is another ability of Yoriichi's dojutsu which is to make these rods. He has these rods stored in the pocket dimension. He can launch it from a 10-20 m radius around him from his pocket dimension. He enlarges them when they have struck the target."

"Now enough about Yoriichi's dojutsu. Lets get a boat then we have to go to the land of frost to complete our remaining mission." Genkai said before flickering away towards the port in the land of lightning.

The other three followed him. Hiromi and Hisame contemplated on Yoriichi's eyes power and how could they tackle it if they come across an ememy with the same dojutsu.

On the other hand, Yoriichi thought 'I will be able to get rid of even that weakness once I manage to minimise myself.'

Once they reached the port, they took a port as the Kumo shinobi stationed near the port saw it, they send a report back to the village saying that the Uzu shinobi have left their land.

When they were 100 kilometers near the land of frost. Genkai then teleported them to the borders of the land of frost after destroying their boat.

"We would gather intel about the state of the country and its shinobi village. We would meet here back in two days. Disguise yourselves and dont let anyone know that Uzushiogakure's shinobi are in the land of frost. You have to gather information about any rise in shinobi sighting in different towns, rise in bandit attacks etc. Dont take any action and cause any problems even if the situation calls for it. Remember this is not our war." Genkai said and looked at Yoriichi specifically while he said the last two sentences

"I am not a troublemaker so don't look at me like that. Trouble just seems fo find me." Yoriichi said

Genkai just looked at him blankly before disappearing. Yoriichi then looked at Hisame and Hiromi to confirm his statements but they too ran away in different directions.

Yoriichi could only sigh as he ran in the last direction to investigate.

Two days later they all met again.

"It's all peaceful in the land of frost right now. According to the civilians in the nearby towns, the frost shinobi that were stationed there went back to the shinobi village quite a while back and there has been no fighting since then. The bandit attacks have also been reduced. There also has been no sightings or attacks from Kumo shinobi." Yoriichi said while Hiromi and Hisame agreed to what he said as they too have the same intel.

"I checked the borders. Frost shinobi are alert but there has been no attacks from Kumo for some time." Genkai said

"Does that mean Kumo has adhered to the Hokage's warning and is no longer pursuing war with the village hidden in the frost?" Hiromi asked

"Could be. But Kumo should not have given up this easily after investing so many of their resources in this war. I believe this is the calm before the storm." Genkai said solemnly

"What do you mean sensei?"

"Kumo might have thought that Konoha or Uzushiogakure would send shinobi to check the condition of the land of frost after the kage of their village raised his concern in the kage meeting. They then would have decided to call out a temporary retreat to prevent any suspicion. If they would have kept attacking just after getting the tailed beasts for the purpose to maintain peace, it would be a huge slap for Lord Hokage. He would surely have taken action against kumo then with or without proof."

"So they chose to retreat and bide their time and rescources. Once, the time is ripe, they would strike again." Genkai said

"Does that mean our mission is over here?" Yoriichi asked

"Yes. Since there are no enemy shinobi here. It means that we dont need to help frost in defending them. Our mission is completed. Let's return." Genkai said

Since Genkai could only teleport within a range of 100 kilometeres. Yoriichi used his sword's ability to teleport everyone back to Uzushiogakure where Genkai went to the Uzukage to submit the report of the mission while the three of them bid goodbyes.
