Ashira Uzumaki P.O.V (Uzukage)

I was doing my paperwork when some village guards knocked on my door.

"Come in"

"Uzukage sama, There has been an incident on the shores of the village. 5 Shinobi were trying to leave the village with some of the stolen village supplies. 2 of them were from the village and one of them was Ito Yuki- a B rank Shinobi of our village."

"Oh, So you have managed to stop them?" I asked them

"No Uzukage sama, the sensors detected the usage of chakra there and one of the person who was detected was Young masters Yoriichi."

"Whattt? How is my grandson? Is he hurt?" My chakra got out of control and the guards got on their knees as they were struggling from the pressure. I controlled my emotions and my chakra.

"We reported this matter to Haru sama who along with the guards rushed to the spot where the chakra was spotted. Young master Yoriichi was fighting with the Yuki clan member who had used a never seen before A rank jutsu and Master Yoriichi unleashed his own A rank technique to counter it and managed to kill him. We also found 3 other dead shinobi. One of the shinobi had his legs severed but was still alive so we took him to the medical centre to heal him and then to interrogate him."

"huh, when the interrogation begins, let me know about it."

Another knock was there on the door and I allowed the person to enter. It was Haru.

"How is Yoriichi? Is he alright? is he injured?Does he feel scared after his first kill? Will there be any permanent injury?"I asked him worriedly.

"Don't worry father, he only had some minor ice burns and injuries which have already been healed. He only fainted because of chakra exhaustion. He used a spectacular A rank technique, You should have seen him father. Truly my son hahahaha."

"Before that he is my grandson hahahaha.

Now tell me what do you want to talk about."

Hearing this he turned serious and said

"There are spies hiding in the village. Enemies in our own backyard.We will have to take measures to increase village security."

"You are right. Yoriichi has asked me once during one of his lessons why we don't have village walls unlike other villages. I said at that time that we are in an island and no one could enter the village easily. But I didn't take into account what if people leave without authorisation or they run away from village easily. I will start the construction of village walls along with that our Uzumaki clan will design a security system based on fuinjutsu for our village."

" As for the spies, We don't have to worry for Shinobi that graduate from the Academy to be spies since they are carefully selected with background checks even the kids from merchant families. We will only have to keep an eye on kids from Damiyo families and other nobles. The spies are someone in the higher ranks of the village since I didn't get any reports for the resources that we had been stolen. We will have to do a careful check of all shinobis from all the clans especially the Yuki to see if we can find more spies."

"Who will be responsible for checking the different Shinobi father?"

"Genkei Uzumaki, My right hand. With his dark release he would be able to sense the emotions and feelings of people who have malice towards the village. Although it would not work at higher rank Shinobi as they have a better control on emotions but still we can root out many spies from this."

"Ahh, Genkai the one you have decided to be Yoriichi Sensei after the academy. Anyways, I have already prepared a security system for the village. It took me months to make it since I knew something like this would be required in the future after Yoriichi warned me that wars will still be there between villages. Do you want to see it?"

"Sure go ahead."

"In order to maintain a peaceful and serene environment Uzushiogakure should rely heavily on its defensive and protective features. Utilizing an intricate system of barriers and sealing tags, I have constructed a sort of interactive blueprint that controls our sealing components on a village-wide scale, called the Master Code. We will heavily enforce our defenses and will show no hesitation to utilize them in times of need in order to maintain peace for our people. The master code will lie underneath our village hidden from public side and which can't be discovered by anyone other than an Uzumaki."

"Under the sealing structure of the Master Code, the Sealing Squad of Uzushiogakure can alter and activate any defensive barrier measures at will while maintaining the active Sensing Barrier which allows them to react accordingly to any unauthorized passages. This barrier system allows them to spread intricate sealing formulas throughout the entire village in seconds in order to protect our innocent citizens and the village as a whole. The barrier system will always be maintained and active, being the primary security measure in times of turmoil. With the Master Code, the barrier and sealing division may activate whichever barrier method is necessary in seconds. Although it is noted that the only active barrier at all times can be the sensing barrier."

"In order to protect ourselves, carefully positioned machines that I have designed, I call them chakra cannons which will be set up around the entire village walls. The cannon can store chakra equal to a A rank Shinobi but after that they will have to recharge for a day or provided the chakra by the user. The cannons are manned constantly. Surrounding the village, they are one of the first defense structures implemented that can cause physical damage to would-be attackers. Also when there are enemies in air, if would be really helpful. Additionally, I suggest the walls be made 20kms from the shores. The island perimeter will offers something of a sense of false hope to invaders. Enemies will invariably arrive on the surrounding flat surface of land."

"The master key formula and password will lie with you, me ,Genkei and Hana for the master code. But the problem will be that it will take a lot of cost to build walls, the fuinjutsu seals, master code and to acquire material for cannons."

"You don't have to worry about it, the village has received lots of fund from donations for the academy. We will use them. This blueprint you have prepared is brilliant. I will immediately call a village meeting and finalize it."
