Chapter 6: The Primal Charge

Five people stood in training ground, they were Tenten, Lee and Neji they were sanding there and was about to watch a spar between their sensei, and the person they consider their big brother, though Tenten and Neji would never say it out loud, as Ed would make sure that they would always call him that.

Guy and Ed stood opposite of each other, though the signal had already been givin and they could start at any time they both stood there waiting. Ed was analysing Guy to see if he could find any openings to attack, but as one would expect of a jounin He could not fond a single one. Guy was also standing there waiting to see if Ed would take the bait and attack first.

"Then, here I come!" Ed shouted as he used his right leg to kick off the ground and to approach Guy at fast speeds. Ed was going so fast that he looked like a blur to the genin.

Just as Ed kicked of the ground so did Guy who jumped up high and did a few front flips, and as he started falling he let his leg out to preform a high axe drop kick, Seeing this Ed smiled as Guy hit the floor with his foot and kicked up a dust cloud, but missed Ed.

"Hmmm" As Guy was trying to sense where Ed was, he was he rushing up behind him at fast speeds, and it did not take long for Guy to find him with how loud he was being.

*BANG*

Ed had used his crutch to smash the floor where Guy was creating a small crater and cracking the ground in all directions. Ed then kicked of the ground again and closed in on Guy, using his right leg as support Ed swept out with his crutch and hit Guy sending him flying backwards.

As Guy was about to regain his balance and land on the floor he heard a *bang*, and then he could see Ed was right in front of him about to attack. Ed had tired to hit Guy upwards but Guy managed to jump off, off the crutch into the air. As Ed was trying to regain his balance from the forceful push downwards, Guy managed to land on the ground and kicked off it at the same time as he landed so he could hit Ed.

Though no one saw it Ed had this crazy smile on his face, before he schooled his expression, regained his balance and dropped to the floor to avoid Guys attack, but Guy managed to kick him as he dropped.

As Ed got back up the air around him seemed to have changed, like everything became more primal, more basic, like he became an animal on the hunt for his prey.

This was the taijutsu that Ed came up with, one day when he was practising the leaf exercise a year ago he let go of his surroundings as he wanted to keep the leaf stuck to him even when he is not paying attention. That's when he felt a foreign substance trying to enter him, he quickly woke up from his meditative state. After one week of thinking about it and feeling that energy, he quickly got his answer, it felt like how they described nature energy in the anime.

Though he could only keep this sate up for one minute before he needs to let go, lest he would be devoured by the natural energy. Thus he combined this with his taijutsu that focused on quick bursts of power instead of prolonged fights.

"This is the taijutsu I have been practising, I hope you can give me advice after the fight, the name of this is Primal Charge." Right after Ed had said that he had disappeared, he was going to fast this time, the genin could not even see a blur this time as he was going so fast.

"Hahahaha, Alright I will give you some advice." Guy burst out laughing easily being able to keep up with Ed's new movement speed, after all Guy could be said to be one of if not the best Taijutsu expert of all time until lee surpass him in the future.

'Monster' All Ed could do was curse Guy who was such a monster, though to be acknowledged by Madara after he absorbs the ten tails, it would be wired if you didn't think of him as a monster, he has not even opened any of the gates, and yet here I am in sage-mode(?).

As they continued to clash Ed could feel that he needs to end this now or he would be devoured by the natural energy. So with that in mind Ed channelled all the remaining chakra he has into his crutch, and just as Guy closed the distance and threw out a punch Ed lined up the crutch with the fist dug his heel into the ground, used what little remaining chakra, he saved into his right leg like the tree climbing exercise and thrust forward.

The result Ed was ten meters from his original stop, and he only managed to push Guy back half a step. 'Really, a god dammed fucking monster that guy is, didn't even have to use the gates.' Ed thought as he collapsed onto his ass.

"Haaah, it's Haaah, my Haaah, loss." Ed said as he threw up us arms in surrender and said through heavy breaths, as he sweat buckets.

"Hahaha, that was quite the spar it was a very good workout" Guy said, though one would note that he wasn't short of breath in any capacity, and did not have a single drop of sweat on him.

'I forgot what kind of world I'm in, no, I just underestimated it, this guy in front of me is not even the strongest person in the world, though he might rank in the top ten.' Ed thought as he looked at Guy before staring at the sky watching the clouds go by. 'It's at times like these that I count my lucky stars that I couldn't be a ninja, because of my leg, I mean just imagine having Guy as your enemy.' As Ed shot a look at his leg he thought about Guy as his enemy, then remember a vague memory of Guy vs Kisame, and at that he shuddered.

As he looked of to the side he just remembered that they had guests watching them, he ha forgotten about them in his fight with Guy. Tenten looked on with her moth open, as if she could not believe what she just saw. Neji's eyes were opened wide as he could get them though other then that he did not have much of a change in expression. As for Lee he just looked on with his eyes sparkling hands clenched and amazement.
