Sharing the borders of several other countries

The Land of Fire is one of the largest and most powerful countries in the shinobi world

The Land of Fire was the first country to adopt a ninja village, Konohagakure, a custom other countries soon adopt

The Land of Fire is appropriately oriented towards the element of fire, typically having very bright and warm weather, While not the physically largest country, it has the largest hidden village

In recent years the land of fire has experienced a lot of harassment

The death of the God of Shinobi, Hashirama Senju, sparked a flame in the other villages

But it seems they forgot the reason why Konoha is the number 1 village

Walking at a fast pace, there was a young man in his mid-twenties with a hardened look

He was tan-skinned and had dark brown, spiked hair, he wore a grey shinobi battle armor that was common around this time, wearing a Konoha headband

He walked to a large tent and walked in and saw a man sitting around a table

"Sensei"

The man bowed in front of the man who is his teacher

The man was a fair-skinned man with silver, shaggy hair and dark-colored eyes, He had three red markings on his face, one under each of his eyes and one on his chin, he wore blue armor with a distinctive white fur collar over a simple black suit with metal plated protection his body at various places

This man was famous in the shinobi world

The second Hokage Tobirama

"Hiruzen, stand up, and let's get to business"

Hiruzen stood up and wait for what his teacher had to say

To be called back from the front lines all of a sudden means that its something serious

"Well let's not beat around the bush, A few days ago, I have realize that there have been a lot of strange events during this war"

"Mulitple times our operations failed and our elite ninjas have been going missing"

"This isn't just an issue we are having, other villages are experiencing the same thing"

Tobirama spoke as he looked at the report in front of him seriously

These strange turn of events were all happening since the war started but he realized that some things weren't adding up

Hiruzen also heard about a lot of things that were happening in the war

But he never questioned it

The reason for this is because everything all leads back to other villages

A month ago Iwa lost a precious item and accuse Suna of being involved

Now the tension between Iwa and Suna is at a breaking point, Iwa wants back the item and Suna is denying that they have it

There are a few cases like this during the war, but it's normal for villages to steal from each other during the war, so no one questioned them

"I know what your, thinking there is nothing strange going on, just war being war"

"But everything about these events seems off to me, so I did a bit of digging"

Tobirama continued while rubbing his chin

"Then do we have any clues on who's behind all of this"

"Yes we found some leads, and it looks like Kumo is involved"

Hiruzen's brows furrowed a bit

Kumo at the moment is the only village that can give Konoha a real challenge other than Iwa

Especially when they reunited the chinoike clan

Their military strength has increased by a lot

"We don't have a lot but we found a trace of the Gold and Silver Brothers from Kumo's kinkaku force"

"Wait, Didn't the kinkaku force disband before the war, from the news we got the Gold and Silver Brothers seem to be dissatisfied with the second raikage and disbanded the team"

After Hiruzen heard this he understood what his teacher was getting to

"Does that mean the Gold and Silver Brothers are working in the shadows with an unknown force that belongs to Kumo"

Tobirama nodded in satisfaction seeing his disciple was quick with his brain

"But we don't know a lot about this secret force, and from the looks of it they seem to be very powerful to cause this much chaos in the war unnoticed"

"This is where you come in"

Tobirama stood up from the chair and walked towards Hiruzen

"I have a mission for you, investigate this secret force of Kumo, you will be the leader of this operation"

"I will give you the manpower you need for this mission"

"We are fighting an enemy blind we need all the intel on them asap"

Tobirama put his hand on Hiruzen's shoulder and looked him in his eyes with his usually stern face

"I'm very optimistic about you Hiruzen your character, spirit, and most of all will is what I want for the next Hokage, don't let me down"

Hiruzen bowed once more

"Don't worry sensei I will bring back the results you want"

Tobiranma talked to Hiruzen for a while then sent him outside since he had better things to do

"Yo, Hiruzen you are done talking with teach"

Hiruzen who had a bit of excitement on his face heard a familiar voice call his name

"Danzo, when did you come back"

The one who called Hiruzen was his friend Danzo Shimura

Danzō was quite handsome with an 'X' shape scar on his chin, and a shaggy hairstyle reaching eye level, He also wore the standard armor, a shuriken holster on his right upper leg, a pouch tied to his waist with bandages, and a forehead protector

"I came back just not too long ago, so what were you and sensei talking about"

They were friends and Danzo was going to be a part of the mission so Hiruzen told him a bit about the conversation leaving out the confidential parts

"Wow Hiruzen, this looks like a great chance for you, I'm confident that you'll do great"

"Thanks, where are the others"

Hiruzen and Danzo talk while going to meet up with their team members

But unknown to Hiruzen and strange light flashed in Danzo's eyes

Kumo ninja academy

A circle was formed as the children cheered

"Go Sano you can do it"

"Yeah teach that kid a lesson"

In the middle of the circle, two kids one 5 and the other 6 were fighting

"Take this"

The 6-year-old boy punched at a 5-year-old boy with a confident look on his face

Dodging the punch easily Kazuto countered with a chop to the boy's neck kicking him out cold

Children that were cheering stopped and looked at Kazuto with a little fear

"Sano lost again"

Kazuto ignored all of them and went for his things to go home early

He liked this about the ninja academy, he didn't have to stay in class, and no one would say anything because of this he had more time to train

The strong really can do what they want

While he was picking up his stuff he saw a girl his age who seems to be from the Narukami clan looking at him

Noticing that Kazuto felt her gaze the girl bowed her head a little and walked away with slowly as if nothing happen

'This school is full of freaks'

Walking home he noticed Two very tall men in front of him

They looked a bit familiar

"Well if it isn't the genius of the Narukami clan"

One of the men sensed Kazuto's gaze and turned to him

Kazuto looked at them closely and something hit

'The Gold and Silver Brothers, how could I forget about them'

Forgot that I was writing a fanfic today

I should really create a schedule

I usually just write when I'm bored and waste my time for the rest of the day

But if I had a schedule maybe I can write 2 chapters a day

Let's hope my lazy ass actually goes through with
