Day of surprises

The days passed quickly, and today marked a week since Kaito had entered the ninja world, undergoing intensive training from his father. Each day, Kaito grew stronger. During the third night, his father taught him the Shadow Clone technique, which Naruto had also learned.

After this lesson, Kaito and Naruto went through rigorous training. During the night, they practiced kenjutsu and chakra control, while in the morning, they sent clones to the ninja academy to attend classes on their behalf, allowing them to focus on training with Haruki.

They dedicated almost the entire day to training, including shurikenjutsu, kenjutsu, taijutsu, and finally, fuinjutsu, resting only when their bodies demanded it. Kaito and Naruto showed great talent in fuinjutsu, quickly mastering the basic principles and being able to perform smaller seals within days.

They were exhausted but undeniably much stronger than before. Compared to their selves a week ago, they would have beaten them in less than 10 seconds.

However, today would be different. By Haruki's order, they would not train, as they had a special training session at night. Both agreed and eagerly awaited the arrival of the evening while strolling through Konoha.

"Hey, Naruto, how about we grab something to eat at Ichiraku? I'm starving," Kaito said to Naruto as they walked through the streets.

"Sure, I'm starving too. I'll order two bowls right away," Naruto agreed, and they headed toward Ichiraku.

On the way, they encountered Sakura.

"Look, Kaito, there's Sakura over there. Let's go talk to her," Naruto exclaimed, heading towards her without waiting for Kaito.

"Hey, Sakura, where are you going?" Naruto called out as he waved.

"Oh, it's you, Naruto. I was going home to study for class. You should do the same, considering your grades are easily the worst in the class," Sakura said, looking at Kaito, who was approaching Naruto.

"And Kaito, you should definitely help Naruto improve. Your grades are high," she added.

"Haha, Sakura, you know how Naruto is. He takes his time to learn things, but he's gradually making progress. Have you seen how much he has improved in taijutsu and shurikenjutsu? Let's cut him some slack. By the way, Sakura, have you ever thought about focusing more on medical ninjutsu? It might be a good idea," Kaito suggested, looking at her.

Sakura paused for a moment and reflected. 'Maybe he's right. I do have good chakra control, and it would be useful to learn medical ninjutsu to take care of Sasuke in case he gets hurt. Plus, it would bring me closer to him,' Sakura thought, blushing.

Kaito noticed and figured she was having thoughts about Sasuke or getting closer to him.

"So, Sakura, at the hospital, they're offering a course to train new medics. It's basic, but it would be a good start for you," Kaito suggested.

Naruto, waiting for Kaito to finish speaking, approached Sakura and also said, "Hey, Sakura, you can heal me whenever I get injured during training."

Sakura, who had different thoughts about Sasuke, looked at Naruto with irritation. 'Who would want to heal you? But if I learn, it could be useful. Maybe I can use it to practice my medical ninjutsu while I'm learning.'

"I'll consider your case, Naruto. Now I have to go, Kaito and Naruto. I still need to study, and I'm planning to visit the hospital later," Sakura said before saying goodbye.

Kaito and Naruto bid farewell to Sakura and continued toward Ichiraku.

Upon arriving there, they sat down and ordered ramen. Naruto, as usual, ordered two bowls.

As they ate, they watched various ninja pass by them, until one of them stopped and sat at the table next to them.

It was a man with black hair and brown eyes, with a horizontal scar just above his nose. It was Iruka Umino.

"Hey, Naruto. What's been going on? Are you sick? Do you need help? You haven't been up to any mischief lately, haven't painted the Hokages' faces or anything. That's very strange. You've changed a lot," Iruka said, looking concerned.

"Ah, Iruka-sensei, I haven't had time for those things lately. I've been training with Kaito and his dad every night, so I don't have time for pranks. But what happened, sensei? Do you miss my antics? If you want, I can stir up some trouble for you to reminisce. Hahaha," Naruto joked.

While he laughed, Iruka's expression became more serious. "You never change, Naruto. Who said I miss your pranks? Do you think I'm that naive?"

After calming down a bit, Iruka looked at Kaito. "Good job with what you've been doing with Naruto. No one has ever managed to keep him from misbehaving for so long. Congratulations."

Kaito smiled a bit at this iconic character, who served as a father figure to Naruto, and replied.

"Nothing, Naruto is a good person; he just needs someone to deal with him."

After this interaction, Kaito and Naruto returned home and spent the rest of the afternoon resting.

"Nightfall arrived, and his father called the two of them to train, unlike the usual routine, Kaito's mother was also present today."

"Tonight, you'll have a ninjutsu lesson, but it will be different from the lessons you've had so far. I won't be the one teaching; it will be Hana. Pay attention; you'll learn to use your own elemental chakra. I know what yours is, son, but I'm still not sure about yours, Naruto," Haruki said, handing Naruto a chakra paper.

Kaito and Naruto were shocked by the news. Kaito knew that his mother was a civilian and had never seen her train or demonstrate ninja abilities before. Now, she was about to teach them ninjutsu.

But before Kaito could ask any questions, his father began to explain.

"Well, Naruto, let me explain how this paper works. First, you have to infuse your chakra into the paper. If it burns, you have an affinity for the fire element. If it tears, it's an affinity for the wind. If it gets wet, it's an affinity for water, and if it becomes heavy, it's an affinity for earth. If it wrinkles, it's an affinity for lightning."

Haruki infused chakra into the paper, and it tore. "As you can see, my element is wind. I based my ninjutsu on this element, but you can also learn ninjutsu from other elements, although it consumes more chakra and is harder to learn."

Haruki handed Naruto a chakra paper, and Naruto infused his chakra into it, causing it to tear. "Well, Naruto, it looks like you have an affinity for wind, just like me."

Haruki was pleased and began teaching Naruto about the wind element and some basic ninjutsu.

Meanwhile, Kaito's mother, Hana, took him to a more secluded area to conduct a special test.

"What's happening, Mom? Don't you already know my affinities?" Kaito asked, confused.

"Of course we do, son, but this is a different test. I want to see if you've inherited the power of our clan, the yuki clan. I'm going to test if you possess the Hyouton Kekkei Genkai."

Kaito was surprised by this revelation but was excited. It would be incredible if he could use Hyouton. He quickly allowed his mother to proceed with the test without further questions.

"Son, this test involves transferring chakra into you. I'll be looking for ice fragments inside your body. It might hurt a bit, so bear with it," Hana explained before starting the test.

The test might seem simple, but it was a method only someone with Hyouton could perform. Hana would use her own Hyouton in small quantities to search for ice fragments inside Kaito's body.

It didn't take long for her to find the ice fragments, which were scattered throughout Kaito's body, including his chakra points. This explained why his chakra reserves were so low. Hana began to melt the ice with water, causing pain to Kaito.

Despite the intense pain, Kaito endured it until the pain finally subsided. He felt a surge of chakra in his abdomen, and his cells seemed more active than ever. He opened his eyes and saw his mother looking at him.

"You did a great job enduring the pain. I didn't expect it to be so intense, but you had a lot of ice fragments to melt. Now, you'll be able to use Hyouton. I believe you have more talent in it than I do. I'll start teaching you every night about Hyouton, Suiton, and Fuuton," Hana said before beginning to prepare the first lesson.

While this was happening, his father continued to train Naruto on the wind element and began teaching one of the most basic ninjutsu techniques.
