26 Meeting Karin

(Same day night time)

The light of the moon was shining on the village, I was enjoying my tea with biscuits

"So where did you learn sage mode from" a middle-aged man sat beside me

"Do you have no manners?" I asked him

"Neheee, Not any that I am aware of, haha," said Jiraiya as he started laughing crazy

"you seem to be well suited to lightning chakra, especially that lightning style shunshin you did, which means that you are from Cloud village," he said with a dramatic pose

"Nope, I am not from cloud, but I know you, the legendary sage of Konoha," I said to him

"You have learned sage chakra, you keep it on constantly without effort and seem to have no deformities that come with using the sage mode, not even an eye color change is visible on you," he said to me

I remember reading that Jiraiya hated his frog-like appearance in sage mode, I don't understand why he does not use transformation jutsu during sage mode to hide his appearance.

"I don't think I need to tell you anything, just be assured that I am a friend of hidden leaf," I seriously said to him, not because I was trying to hide or anything,

he might already know that I am hiding my real appearances, I just wanna appear mysterious at this point, haha

"Meet me outside the village if you want to find out more," I said to him, not giving him the exact time since I know he will be monitoring me in some way

Now I think its time to meet the little redhead who has been monitoring me from afar

I noticed her by coincidence, more like because of her red hair, they are unique to the Uzumaki from what I know.

Karin POV:-

I have been trying to get rid of the ninja responsible for keeping an eye on me and I don't think I can do it anymore,

So I have decided to confront the man as it is, with that in mind I start going in his general direction, pretending to be absentminded as I bump into him and splash the juice on him accidentally,

"Oh! I am so sorry about that, let me help you with that"

"Haha, it's nothing, I will deal with this myself"

he says as he just throws away his jackets, as I thought, he is not a bad person. Now I need to give this to him

I discreetly hand him the paper in my hand and quickly walk away with an apology

'Now I can only hope he is willing to help us

Narrator POV:-

Dai opens the paper and reads its content, and just like he thought it was a letter asking for help

realistically speaking the only way the Uzumaki can live peacefully is by not having their talent or by becoming strong

the likes of Karin and her mother will always end up being used by others for their purpose, if it were anyone else they will at first have helped Karin and her mother, later using them however they want.

Only a family member would help them genuinely in this case and fortunately, Dai considers naruto a friend so Karin and her mother can be said to be lucky they met him.

"How should I go about this...for god's sake I am a freaking super kage level ninja, I need to be a bit more confident," Dai says to himself

"So it's decided, tomorrow I will steal the weapon box and the mother-daughter duo will go with me

"Sigh, now that I think about it, this will be a drag..but it's worth it"

Dai Kurosaki POV:-

The next day I woke up early and started preparing for my mission.....by washing my face and checking out of the inn I was staying at.

I ran back towards the temple, to check if the box is still there, just in case,

"Now to go and talk with them"

I pinpoint Karin's chakra and teleport there, using the flying thunder God technique

what I saw shocked me a little,

Karin's mother was healing two ninjas as they bit her arms,

there were various bite marks on her hands, I could not help but feel pity for her and anger towards the kusagakure, they were cruel bastards, to say the least, the mother was too far gone to heal anyone but just so they don't give Karin the responsibility, she kept healing, I believe that within a month she will meet her demise

Seeing that someone suddenly appeared in the hospital, the two ninjas who were receiving treatment stood up

"Who are you, state your purpose"

they asked me

"Shut the fuck up" I don't wanna talk to these guys anymore

I got rid of the two ninjas with simple shuriken to the throat, weaklings

The jonin who usually monitors the mother and sometimes the daughter is just outside the door and will likely be entering about right now

I use scorch release, a full-powered jutsu hits the jonin, turning him into a dried husk, killing him in the process

Karin vomits due to the gruesome death of the jonin, while the mother tries to hide her daughter, I walk towards her with my hands raised, showing that I mean no harm

"I have decided to help you, I am a friend of Naruto Uzumaki, the son of the Uzumaki princess, I will bring you to Konoha where you can live your life with better terms," I said to her

"Do you take me for a fool, maybe you don't know what happens to females of an extinct clan, Have you not heard of CRA, it's still better here than there"

As expected, the women knows what will happen to her and the daughter and maybe that is why she did not seek refuge in the former ally of her extinct village

"I take responsibility for your protection, trust me, no one will be able to lay a finger on you, even the ghost of hashirama might pee his pants if he sees me angry," I say with a bit of emotion,

one can't help but feel pity for them

I have known how it feels like to live in fear of death all the time.

Karin says something to her mother before she looks at her smilingly, she then looks at me

"Take her with you, the grass village won't let you live in peace if both of us were to run away, at least with me behind she has a chance at a normal life," Karin's mother says as she looks at her shocked daughter

"I am sorry but a deal is a deal, Both of you are coming with me," I say as I just teleport her along with Karin to the outskirts of the lead village and leave a note

With that done, for now, I go back to the temple and break the barrier placed on the box with ease and take the box

'hmm it seems a seal is placed on it, hmph no match for me

it was easy to break a seal of such a simple level for me, I have started to dabble in the arts of ninjutsu after all.
