18 Saving Karin

"You're going to continue searching?" Kin asked, a little surprise. All this time, she had thought that I'm just looking for the scroll.

"Yes, I am. Now stop talking or else I'm going to strip you down and spank your ass." I made a one hand sign and activated the Shadow Clone jutsu through the system.

Actually, I didn't even need to weave hand signs. Unless I'm using skills that need to be aimed like the Mind Transfer Jutsu, I don't even need to weave hand signs.

After activating them with my user interface and getting my chakra deducted, I can just cast the jutsu with 0 seconds of cast time.

For instance, I can literally blow a fireball from my mouth without even wasting casting time.

Nonetheless, I still like to weave hand signs and channel my chakra by myself. The reason I'm doing this is because it's cool.

It's also good practice for when I need to learn new skills (without copying) to add onto the skill list.

*Puff* x10

Ten shadow clones of myself appeared. Thanks to the boost of the cursed mark, I'm able to create this many shadow clones. Without it, I probably wouldn't even be able to make five.

"You all understand what to do? Search west. Do not engage if you don't have to."

"Yes."

All of my shadow clones nodded and spread out towards the west.

With this, my search radius had effectively increased. If Karin's team is nearby, my shadow clones should be able to find them and return the information back to my consciousness.

*Smack!*

I slapped Kin's ass before continuing to jump on the tree.

"Come on, we'll continue to search too. Keep up with me." I said as I once again jumped from tree to tree.

"..." Kin rubbed her red ass as she jumped, following me.

As we continued our search, I couldn't help but feel a little anxious. The thought of Karin potentially being harmed didn't sit well with me. Her future potential is endless, and I want her around so that I can keep upgrading my abilities.

After searching for half an hour, I finally felt a tinge at the back of my mind. One of my shadow clones had returned with information.

It seems that Karin's team is also resting after battling with the leaf Genin team that I just met.

With this information in hand, I deactivated my other shadow clones from afar so that my chakra reserve can return to full power.

There was a lag time of a few seconds for the shadow clone's chakra to return to my real body.

"We're going to head two kilometers to the south west." I told Kin.

"Okay." Kin nodded obediently.

We arrived at the location that my shadow clone was at before it came back.

The two male teammates seem to have left Karin under a large tree after biting her arm and sucking her blood to heal their bodies that were injured in their battle with the Leaf Genin team.

Other than treating Karin as an HP potion, they probably didn't see her as a person at all. She had no use in battle, and she isn't their friend. She also isn't really a good ninja at the moment, so they must not have wanted to bring her along as they tried to get a scroll from another team.

Stupidly, though, they left their EARTH scroll with Karin. They must think that if they hid the scroll this way, they wouldn't lose it even if they lost their battle with another team.

"Roar!!" An enormous brown bear came charging in at Karin. The bear drooled as it thought about eating Karin.

It chomped at Karin, thinking that she was an easy catch.

"N-no!!" Karin got up and ran away.

However, she tripped on a large root, and she fell on the ground, dropping the EARTH scroll. Her glasses also came off, falling onto the ground.

The enormous brown bear stomped closer and closer, overshadowing Karin with its large body.

"Aww, shit. This must be fate or something." I muttered as I disappeared from Kin's side and reappeared on top of the brown bear.

This is just the same as the anime. For some reason, I arrived at the exact same time that the Original Sasuke should have arrived. If I didn't call this fate, I don't know what else to call it.

Using gravity to help accelerate my fall, I turned twisted horizontally in the air and sent a series of lion's barrage (whirlwind kicks) towards the bear's head.

BAM! BAM! BAM!

The bear shook… then it fell onto the ground, completely knocked out.

I landed on the bear's head and placed my hands in my pockets. I then looked down at Karin with the coolest face that I could make.

While observing, I felt a little bad for her. The girl is extremely skinny and malnourished for her age. This malnourishment must've been due to the neglect of the Grass Village and due to the fact that the people around her keep using her as a blood bag.

"Are you alright?" I said to the girl.

Karin seems to have heard me, but she couldn't see well without her glasses, so she reached out and grabbed them before putting them on and looking up at me.

Her cheeks turned red after seeing my face and pose. Her eyes also shook and her heart thumped heavily. Perhaps this is what one calls… love at first sight.

"I-I'm alright…" Karin answered timidly.

"You look rather pretty. May I ask for your name?" I pretended not to know her. Of course, I could've just said that I knew her from the start, but it's too much of a pain to make up a back story of how I came to know her name.

Karin's face became even redder, and she replied: "M-my name is Karin Uzumaki."

"My name is Sasuke Uchiha."

"Sasuke Uchiha…" Karin couldn't help but continue to blush as she repeated the name.

"So you're also an Uzumaki… I have a person in my team who is an Uzumaki. Perhaps you two are related?" I decided to lead the conversation.

"Maybe…? I don't know. I've always been in the Grass Village my whole life. I don't know if I have any relatives since my mother didn't tell me anything before she died." Karin decided to open up to the boy who saved her.

Perhaps it's due to her fluttering heart beat, or perhaps she was guided by something else… she immediately opened up. Aside from her mother, no one had ever spoken to her this gently before. She yearned for someone like this.

"You look rather sad when you speak, Karin."

"Ehehe… do I?" Karin shifted her eyes away. She's a little embarrassed due to the boy's straightforwardness.

"You do." I told her.

"..." Karin was speechless. She has never dealt with such a straightforward person like this before.

But… it doesn't feel that bad to talk with this person. In fact, she enjoys it very much.

Hearing her silence, I dropped the highlighting question to her: "Since you're not happy in the Grass Village, why don't you just stay here in the Leaf Village?"

"That–! I can't! I'm known as a ninja of the Grass Village! They have the legal rights to keep me in their village… A whole load of trouble will follow if I try to stay in the Hidden Leaf Village. Not to mention that your village might not even accept me. After all, I am a ninja from another village." Karin poured out her thoughts.

She very much wanted to leave the Grass Village. She hated it there. They exhausted her mother to death, and they're also doing the same to her by sucking her blood nonstop.

However, just because she wants to leave, it doesn't mean that she can.

"Your troubles – I'll solve them all for you." I offered. Like I said before, there's going to be a lot of hurdles when it comes to keeping Karin in the village (When the 3rd Hokage is around), but I know of some cards that I can play to allow her to stay in the village.

"Huh?" Hearing the boy, Karin was surprised. Did she hear him correctly? He said that all of her troubles will be solved…? Just how will he do it, and why is he doing it?

"Stop thinking so much, Karin." I jumped down from the brown bear and appeared in front of the girl.

I then tapped on the top of her forehead with my index and middle finger, just like how Itachi does to the original Sasuke.

Kain held her forehead and puffed out her cheeks while giving me a 'you're a meanie' look.

"I'm not saving you for fun. The truth is that I'm an evil person. The reason that I want to save you is because I like you. I want to have sex with you in the future after you fall in love with me. In summary… I want you to be my girl, and I don't like the fact that others are taking advantage of you. Though, I have to say that I will also be having sex with other girls while doing it with you. And if you fall in love with someone else instead of me, I'm still going to make it my goal to have sex with you. I'm that much of an evil person." I didn't give any bullshit response.

I didn't want to force Karin into having sex, but at the same time, I also wanted the fastest way possible to have sex with Karin. And in my opinion, being honest with my intentions will allow me to develop our relationship much faster.

"Wha… you!!" Karin's face blushed even harder when she heard me.

Karin screamed on the inside. Too honest! This evil boy is too honest! So he does have ulterior motives after all! But! But! He didn't hide it, so is that still an ulterior motive? Ahhh!!

She covered her mouth and looked at the boy in front of her in disbelief.

"So, will you stay in the leaf village and eventually become my girl?" I gave her my final question.

Karin thought about it for a second before saying in a muffled voice: "Will you really be able to let me stay in the village?"

"I will even alter the world's laws for you." I told her with confidence. With my System Plot Armor, what couldn't I do? It's only a matter of time.

Karin's chest tightened as she gazed upon the boy's confident visage. A gentle gust of wind swept through the oppressive forest, rustling her hair and stirring her emotions. In that moment, she felt like her despairing life had been illuminated with a single ray of hope.

Even though that ray of hope is in the form of an evil person who is too straightforward with his intentions and words.

"Yes," she whispered, her voice barely audible above the rustling leaves. "I'll stay."
