Chapter 5: Days at REMNANT

Naruto a couple of days later >>>

"Salem and Ozpin two immortal beings, and counting that the gods of this world left long ago, oh they left them a curse, oh they probably have something to do with the seed without knowing it..." I say to myself seeing the city in front of me, a beautiful city, built in the middle of a mountain, waterfalls, forests around, it looks like a painting from my point of view.

And this is of course Mistral, one of the great cities of Remnant, and where I will start my plans. The information of this world is really fascinating, a cyberpunk style world, but with the slight detail that this world is completely plagued by demons, or as people call them "Grimms".

Beasts made of darkness, who love fear and negative emotions, so cool that you could use them to ... really nothing, disappointing I know, but ... you see these beasts are themselves ... demons.

So the first time I left the tribe looking for said beasts, Curious I approached the more common Grimm a sort of white barbed wolves, when I got too close for them to notice me, the very unfortunate ones just ignored me.

I tried to annoy them, to get them to eat me or attack, but nothing, they kept ignoring me. After thinking about their behavior for a while, I came to a simple conclusion.

Monsters of the dark, aha ... And what am I, exactly, technically squinting a lot, Grimm these were practically demons, low class, but demons nonetheless.

And you see why I was disappointed in the beasts....

And with that for now I just want to settle in this city, which luckily is one of the 4 big cities that are the last bastions of humanity, of course as always there are small towns away from the big cities, which are razed from time to time, either by Grimm or well as it was me, in the peculiar case of my arrival, bandits.

Entering through one of the main gates, it's time to get an identity, lay the groundwork for discovering the beautiful hidden details of the world, after all I have a few days when Baka Red brings me back home.

 ------------------------x--------------------

Mistral streets.

Drop by drop the rum runs out What, ahemm, our hero was walking calmly through the streets of mistral immersed in his thoughts, the people around looked at him as he walked, some simply ignored them, the girls looked at her like a piece of hot meat, some looked at him with contempt, the emotions were varied, but among all oblivious to him or "maybe not", a crow was looking at him from one of the upper floors.

"You'll be gone for a few days he said, a few days you won't notice as you get used to it he said .... Bullshit, it had already been 4 weeks and nothing, he was still stuck here." Naruto muttered to himself, frowning.

Sighing he ran a hand through his hair, directing his gaze forward, approaching the noise of people cheering animatedly.

In the time he had arrived in the big city, Naruto if ... there was no need to hide his name, he had been researching everything he could about the world, including history and technology, he hadn't understood much of the latter but there it was.

With that in mind, he stopped before the entrance to the place he had his eyes fixed on, the coliseum in charge of the annual mistral tournament for new talent.

"Identification please." Asked the guard at the door, Naruto just pulled out his scroll and passed it through the scanner a beep sound later he was allowed to enter.

Walking through the corridors that at this point were somewhat familiar he made his way to the topmost box of the coliseum, already seeing the arena occupied by two subjects, one with a large axe as a weapon and the other with a light sword that when he looked at it he couldn't help but look at his own weapon.

When Raven showed him his weapon he fell in love with it, a gruff Katana that could be infused with different elements, one to carry please. It cost him an arm and a leg, no sarcasm because he was missing an eye, but that was the price he paid for his personal weapon, which he named Izumi.

Moments later the winner is announced, the axe guy boasts happily to the audience and the announcer announces the results, followed quickly by the next fight, causing someone near where he was standing to stand up with a determined face.

The guy before leaving fixes his gaze on a certain red-haired girl who was calmly watching the fighting arena, "Just remember this Nikos, this year I'm going to win this, rest assured." He half shouts as he passed by the girl, who didn't even flinch at the rude comment.

Naruto seeing nothing wrong with socializing a bit, because there weren't many friends to speak of approached the girl, "Humm so you're not friends huh?"

The girl turned her head to look a little surprised to see the sender of the comment, "No, it's not..." she replied somewhat dubiously, no one nowadays used to talk to her when she got to this point in the tournament, everyone was already frowning and trying to demoralize her, after all she was the undefeated champion.

"I see ... Naruto Branwen at your service." He raised his hand for a handshake, she for her part was a little more surprised, didn't he know who she was, oh of course he did, everyone knew them, aggg how he would rather just be Phyrra instead of her silly title.

When he tilted his head in confusion at how she reacted, Pyrrha blushed, of course he was just being polite and she was being stupid by not responding, she immediately grabbed his hand before he pulled it away. "Pyrrha Nikos" he said quickly.

"Nice to meet you Miss Nikos."

"I ... Likewise." She repeated like a parrot stuttering, blushing when he smiled at her carelessness, really this guy was beautiful, very ... very beautiful, almost no imperfections in the skin, the structure of the face, his lips, eyelashes ... everything perfect, the only thing out of place was the cloth covering one of his eyes, had he lost it?

"Do I have something on my face?" he asked, realizing she was staring at him, she being called out immediately blushed even more turning her gaze back to the sand.

"Just ... I was wondering why the impromptu patch?" She said not realizing how rude it would sound to ask something like that.

Luckily for her Naruto was worth cheese to her all that stuff, nonchalantly she replied. "well...a little accident when I was younger, but don't worry, even with just one I'm quite capable."

Pyrrha turned her gaze back with a slight frown, she normally didn't watch the preliminaries, after all with her champion position she had direct pass to the semifinals. But if the cute boy was on this podium, he had obviously made it to the semi-finals, tasked with researching him after he was called, she could only nod politely, she didn't want to ruin her possible friendship with the boy she was nice, she hoped not to see him leave with the others after she won.... was it too much to expect a friend?

Minutes passed talking about random things, she felt right away that she would get along with him ... he liked a lot of the things she liked, although he was a bit crude with his comments about some things, they both agreed that Neapolitan was the ultimate flavor of ice cream, and that was a definite check in their books for possible friends.

He doesn't know how much time passed, but when Naruto was called, he found himself cheering me up with a smile. I just hoped deep down that he really wouldn't get depressed and walk away from her if I won the tournament again.

If that happened ... well she had enjoyed those moments of conversation with him, she would take that at least wouldn't she, with that in mind I looked around the arena watching Naruto draw his sword in preparation, his opponent was one she had beaten before, a somewhat difficult opponent if she would say so herself, but it was just a matter of withstanding his first few blows and when he let his guard down a bit, come down on him with everything on him.

"Next up the next rising challenger for our invincible champion, Naruto Branwen, the black spachin." Roared the announcer causing the crowd to start cheering, Pyrrha was a little surprised by the introduction and the roar of the crowd.

Was Naruto that good?
