Chapter 45: Changes

Pakura was walking by the corridor of a building.

By now she was designated as the headmaster of the ninja academy. The good news was that she population was not so large, so I was possible to manage by now with the personnel they possess, however, that was not a long-term solution.

By now the villagers were aware about the new people who were ruling this land, however, their identities were a mystery. It was known that all of them always wear mask on them. The only information available was they genre. However, they did not care one bit about that. The only thing they know is that their lives were much better than before since they came to this place.

Now they were not afraid about being attacked by a ninja who suddenly was dissatisfied about something. 

Also, two schools were established for the kids. One was a ninja academy, like any other village, and the other was an educational institute.

Lite observed this world and noticed that technology indeed exist, there were things that normally should not be there. He thought hard about the reason and concluded that it was nobility system's fault. In a world where there are not the advantages of capitalism, it's impossible to innovate when a noble could come whenever he wants and take it all for him. 

But the major problem was the lack of a robust law system. Nobility is the total privilege of a group of people and there a very little things that can restrain them, even ninjas can not easily deal with them, so it's even more impossible for them to implement laws that benefits people who are not them, even more so when those laws go against their privileges.

Lite is sure that's the reason why there are only thing that nobles can take advantage of, like movies that serve as entertainment and does not need complicated things. Obviously, they do not know how terrifying is the media if used correctly.

Back to the topic, since Lite knew now clearly that many things shown in the anime were not correct, there was not super mega ultra-black tech, most probably, they were all replaced by seals. He realized that although the Uzumaki clan were the best in the subject, time is unforgiving and moving, by now the studies had advanced and new theories were created, making possible uses like assisting in medicine and other areas.

But that does not mean that science can be ignored. For Lite, the advantage of chakra is that it can gran immense power, but it's too centered around the person. On the other hand, science is something everybody can do. Comparing the population of ninjas to civilians, it's obvious who will emerge victorious. The only reason why it's not like that now is that normal people is too oppressed by the current system.

So, now Lite has created the school wee he will start to teach everything he knew to the new generation. Well, actually it's his mother who's going to be the teacher. Since there's no printer, she too bored, so Lite has been teaching her little by little.

Courses like math and physics are already taught, at least he knows it's like that in Konoha. But the knowledge is there. But chemistry is considered military strategic information.

Lite thinks it's a pity, so he worked hard with Shu to regain more and more memories. 

Pakura is the one in charge of the ninja academy and her disciple Maki oversees the science school. The reason is that she incredibly talented is that area, while Kokoe is more about memorization, she can't use the knowledge to solve a problem, there's not practical application of knowledge.

It may seem simple, but just the security and the new schools, those two new changes were enough to make an unmatched impression on their hearts because they never had the chance to enjoy those privileges. All day plagued by fear and knowing that their children were condemned to never reach higher heights, but now they could. 

In the past, the ninjas of the village were train internally and everything always stayed only for the group in power. The comparison between now and then is abysmal.

A major part of the people here was illiteracy, which resulted in the raising of the difficulty of implementing the things they want to do. But the sages said, where there's difficulty, there's opportunity. In this situation, Lite decisively chose to talk to Mito and Minato and told them something that can change the whole world. 

— Let's implement a new language!

That's what he said. Although the people here did not write japanese, their alphabet consisted in two, one which can be considered kanji and the other kana.

For this, Lite chose to copy it from his old world. That's because languages, as something born from the circumstances of people, was not perfect and very confusing. People normally don't notice when they talk, there're a lot of thing which don't make sense when analyzed. Normally, there's not much problem with this, but for an illiterate population, there is.

In his past life, there were a lot of languages crated artificially, many of them even managed to be learned by a lot of people. That's what gave the confidence to Lite to try it here. The advantage is that it is easier teach an entire new language than to teach the current alphabet to all the people, quite the irony.

But this is also and advantage. In the future, when this village grew to a point when it becomes the leader of scholars, this language will give a kind of status envied by the rest.

Pakura continued walking until she reached her office, the teaches were not only Kokoe and sometimes her, but also Minato and Mito, who enjoyed spending time with kids.

— After so much, I hope Mito-sama completed least one of the projects.

She looked at the village through the window. In the past, she was betrayed, and now she is forming part of her own tale.

Looking at the kids playing pleased her to the point of even thanking a little that bastard, but she will make his life miserable all the same.

While Pakura was performing her duties, Mito, Kushina and Minato were about to finish one of the two great projects Pakura was thinking about.

These were a barrier around all the village and the other one was a seal, a special seal to tansmit memories and knowledge.

The one they were working on the hardest was the barrier, this is due to certain black entity roaming around the ninja world. 

Now that Minato and Kushina came to an initial agreement with the fox, they could use his ability to sense and see if Black Zetsu came, luckily, it seems he still didn't notice them, but the time was falling short.

The reason why they did not simply copy the one in Konoha was because they had to add a new function, that is to block intent. 

Black Zetsu's composition was strange, but it can be said that he is a mass of intent. However, all humans possess intent, so to make this new seal, Mito, Minato and Kushina had to rack their brains for weeks and weeks until there was finally a breakthrough.

They only could do this because Minato and Kushina went around all the surrounding countries catching ninjas and bandits till their pockets were full. In the last part of their mission, he even had to carry Kushina since her stomach was starting to grow.

It can be said that this time was one of the most pacific times for the people.

Now, all of their efforts finally paid off.

— Finally! I don't want to work anymore! (Kushina)

The three of them were in front of the blueprint for the seal to conceal whole village, obviously that would mean that they will attract Black Zetsu's attention, but he will not pay attention tto a small village. Even in the case where he starts to be wary, he has Nagato with the Rinnengan and Obito with his Kamui, also, his plan doesn't clash with that information. At most, he will think that a seal master is now living in that place.

— It's good that you are happy with this, but we still have to finish the other seal and also think about how to control the Mizukage. (Mito)

And with just one sentence, Mito extinguished the happiness of a woman about to give birth.

The reason why the seal for the Mizukage was deemed to be not so important anymore was because even if they could not control him anymore, it was possible now to rescue anyone they wanted with the an*where door that was improving by the day. So, if it could be done, it was good, otherwise, they just have to go by force.

— Now we just have to install it around the village. (Mito)

— But that's the problem… (Minato)

— Well, we just have to hold on for at least just a couple of months more. I thing by the time your baby is born we will have more maneuverability. (Mito)

To make a barrier like Konoha's is extremely costly, just the materials needed wer abundant and difficult to get. And while the village was much smaller than Konoha, that did not do much to alleviate the problem.

One of the most infuriating things was that they did not get much money from the proviso rulers. It seems they were accustomed to squander and squeeze the population till they could just live by the day.

In other words, no matter what they do, they are still poor. if it was not because the advantages of owing the village were much more than the disadvantages, then they would have leave long ago.

So, the next days they started to inscribe the seals all around the village, it was a slow process since they were only three people working on it. Moreover, they had to do it secretly.

Meanwhile, Tsunade was sulking because there was no one who could help her with the seal she needed to finish her technique.

— It's too much work, if we go on like this, we will never be able to reach any goal. (Lite)

— Then, I guess we have to bring forward our plans and make a little trip. So, the Uzumaki and Senju clans are about to make their apparition in this world again. (Mito)
