Chapter 14 Team 6

Konoha.

The sun shone on the village as it revealed the bustling streets roaring with cries of hawkers.

Hokage Office.

In the Hokage Office, a few figures wearing the standard Konoha Jonin attire were standing straight as they looked at the old man with a red hat sitting on the seat behind the desk.

"It seems everyone is here."

The Third Hokage looked at the figures standing before him, and after confirming that everyone was present, he stood up.

"As you may know already, yesterday, the graduation exam was held, and as per Shinobi rules, the freshman Genin needs a Jonin Instructor who can guide them."

"Some of you have experience already, but some are new to guiding Genin."

"Konoha's best Jonin, like Guy and Kakashi, don't have any experience in teaching either, so don't fret and give you all in guiding them."

"They are the future of Konoha; in some ways, guiding them correctly is even more critical than S rank missions."

"I believe all of you present here have what it is required to teach them; don't disappoint me, I leave the future of Konoha in your hands."

"Yes! Lord 3rd!!!"

"Good!! now go back, and soon you will be notified about the squad you will be leading."

The Jonin standing before expressed their passion as Sarutobi nodded with satisfaction and ended the meeting.

"Kakashi, Guy, both of you, wait!!!".

Sarutobi stopped the two who stood out the most from others.

One wore the Konoha Jonin jacket and under it was a green attire sticking to his body, and he had thick eyebrows and a watermelon head.

The other had silver hair, and a blue mask covered his face till the nose, and the forehead protector covered his left eye.

"I hope it isn't something too troublesome."

Thought Kakashi had a lazy and annoying look in his eyes as he knew that since the old man wanted to talk to them separately, it must be bothersome and time-consuming.

"I wonder what happened next."

Kakashi just wanted to go home and finish reading the new volume that just came out yesterday.

"Look at this; I want to know your opinion; only someone capable as you two is qualified to lead this squad."

Guy and Kakashi looked at and, after seeing the name, their grades, and hobbies, Kakashi was left stunned.

A Hyuga, a Taijutsu lunatic, and a Blindfold weirdo, no matter how you look at it, this squad is troublesome.

"Ah, I remembered, I had an appointment with the client for an S rank mission; I need to leave urgently!!!"

Kakashi suddenly knocked his head, putting an expression of sudden enlightenment, and without giving Guy and Sarutobi a chance to speak, he bowed slightly and flashed away.

"I'd rather do hundred S rank missions than teach this troublesome trio."

Kakashi had this thought in his mind when he quickly left the office.

"Sigh...

"It seems I can only count on you, Guy."

Sarutobi took a deep breath on the smoke pipe, and after puffing out the smoke, he looked towards Guy for help.

"Yes! Sir, you can leave everything to me!!!"

Guy roared as he gave a thumbs up and smiled widely with his corner teeth glittering.

"Lee... you and I really destined!!!"

Seeing the name of Lee on the paper, Guy knew it; this must be the work of God who wanted youth buddies to stay together.

"I think... I might have made a mistake."

Sarutobi didn't know why he suddenly felt like he had a mistake after seeing the Iconic style of Guy.

He got worried as an image of Neji and Gojo wearing green tights and a watermelon head appeared in his mind, causing him to shudder.

But seeing the excited Guy, he knew it was too late already.

Class 4-C

"As you may know already, after graduation, Genin are assigned to a 4 men squad led by a Jonin."

"You will perform different missions under his guidance and hone your Shinobi Skills."

Iruka stood beside the podium, and after telling some details, he finally started to announce the squads.

Hyuga Neji

Gojo Satoru

Rock Lee

(AN:- I know 2 boys and girls is common for a squad but for the sake of the plot I'm ignoring that, but those who love the original worry not, it won't be long, no more spoilers)

"It's over; I'm going to be stuck with two weirdos!!!"

Neji held his head in despair as what he feared the most happened after all, and his coming days were full of darkness.

"Finally ~, I can leave this boring place and see the outside world."

Thought Gojo with a wide grin on his face as he felt excited for the upcoming days.

"Satoru Kun, let's sweat our youth even more!!!"

Lee looked towards Gojo and was happy to be with his best friend.

"Well~, I was wrong!!"

Gojo took back what he had thought earlier since, with this training maniac together, he can't enjoy his upcoming days fully.
