Chapter-54

Sasuke's plan was simple, first he will talk to yang-half Kurama alone without Naruto, then he will talk to Naruto and make him understand the point of view of Kurama and other tailed beast and finally introduce them to each other. If Naruto put his mind to befriend Kurama, then one month time was enough for Naruto to make connection with Kurama deeper than he has with yin-half.

Sasuke came back to Uchiha clan compound. Naruto and Karin were learning fuinjutsu from Kushina. Sasuke informed Kushina what he is going to do and since Kushina knows Sasuke is perfect jinchuriki, she knew Sasuke will also make Naruto a perfect jinchuriki. Sasuke left with Naruto for special training and when both of them were alone, Sasuke put Naruto to sleep using genjutsu. Sasuke wanted to talk to Kurama alone, he thought that best way to convince yang-half kurama would be to let yin-half talk to him. Who would be better to convince Kurama than Kurama himself. Sasuke didn't want Naruto to know that yin-half is inside him, at least not at the moment. Although Naruto has gained decent resistant to genjutsu, but he was caught completely off guard. Sasuke entered Naruto's mind space and appeared in front of Kurama.

[Yang-half KURAMA: "What do you want "Uchiha"? You already captured my other half and sealed inside you. Do you think I can't feel him just because of few seals?"]

SASUKE: "I wasn't trying to hide it from you, I knew you would be able to detect your other half. These seals are for other people not you."

[Yang-half KURAMA: "So, what are you doing here? Do you want to capture me too, to gain my full power?"]

SASUKE: "Come on, you are making it sound like I am some kind of villain. (Sasuke to yin-half Kurama)Hey Kurama, talk to your other half buddy, he thinks I captured you and sealed you by force."

[Yin-half KURAMA: "I am not your buddy. Listen my other half, it is weird talking to myself, he didn't capture me."]

SASUKE: "That's it, that is all you gonna say? We are here to convince him to help Naruto, work with me Kurama."

[Yin-half KURAMA: "Convince him yourself. I have a very important sleeping to do, so don't disturb me."]

SASUKE: "YOU ARE SO F***ING LAZY, HOW CAN YOU BE SO UNRELIABLE?"

[Yang-half KURAMA: "HOW CAN YOU TELL HIM OUR NAME?"]

[Yin-half KURAMA: "You two are so loud, you are giving me a headache. Here take this and don't disturb me."]

As yin-half Kurama said this, he transfer some of his chakra containing the memory of his first encounter with Sasuke to yang-half Kurama. After going through the memory, yang-half Kurama become silent. His angry expression turn to serious one. Sasuke gave time to yang-half Kurama to digest everything and he stood there in silence. After some time Kurama finally spoke.

[Yang-half KURAMA: "This is very serious issue, we can't let the ten tails to revive."]

[Yin-half KURAMA: "I decided to put my trust in Sasuke, I suggest you do the same."]

[Yang-half KURAMA: "Hmm, so what now? Do you want to gain control of my full power? If you release me then your friend will die."]

SASUKE: "I don't want to release you. Naruto is the reincarnation of Ashura, younger son of Hagoromo. He is going to face the threat together with me. I want you to cooperate with Naruto, talk to him, you saw him grow up, no one knows Naruto better than you. If you find him worthy, then lend him your power."

[Yang-half KURAMA: "Fine, I will listen to him, he is a pitiful kid. I will lend him my power when necessary."]

Kurama understands the importance of stopping stopping ten tails revival. Sasuke knows about Hagoromo, and the history of other tailed beast. He promised their freedom and he is putting his life in the hands of yin-half Kurama. He also knew the name of every tailed beast. So he could understand his yin-half lending power to Sasuke. But Naruto was just a brat, he would not consider lending him his power. However Sasuke asked him to judge whether Naruto is worthy of lending him his power or not. He watched Naruto grow up, and although he didn't want to admit it but deep down he like Naruto or not hate him as much as he hate other humans.

After talking to Kurama, Sasuke left Naruto's mind space and wake up unconscious Naruto.

NARUTO: "Why did you put me in genjutsu and knock me out?"

SASUKE: "I was just checking how vigilant you are against sneak attack. I am very disappointed with your performance."

NARUTO: "You attack me out of nowhere, how am I suppose to defend?"

SASUKE: "That is the definition of sneak attack, it comes out of nowhere.

Anyway lets not talk about it, I have something very important to talk about with you. It is related to your parents and the tailed beast inside you."

Naruto got serious at the mention of his parents.

SASUKE: "Since lady Tsunade has already decided to announce it, let me tell you in advance. You have very special identity Naruto. As I told you before, name of your mother was Kushina Uzumaki, she was the kyubi jinchuriki just like you. Your father's name was Minato Namikaze, he was the fourth Hokage."

Naruto was stunned, he didn't expected his father to be fourth Hokage. He knew everyone in village thinks of fourth Hokage as great hero then why would his son would be hated by everybody, that doesn't make sense. Even if he is a jinchuriki, he still is the son of great hero who sacrificed himself for the village.

NARUTO: "If I am son of fourth Hokage then why am I hated by everyone in the village?"

SASUKE: "Because no one knows that you are his son. It was decided by the elders and third Hokage that your identity would be kept secret."

NARUTO: "Why?"

SASUKE: "If you ask them, then they will tell you that it was done to keep you safe. Fourth Hokage has lots of enemy and if your identity was revealed, then other village may try to assassinate you."

Sasuke doesn't want to tell Naruto about village politics. If he tell Naruto about the real face of third Hokage and darkness of leaf village then he is not sure how Naruto will react. In future Naruto may realize it but for now it is better to leave things as it is. Naruto was silent, he didn't know what to say.

SASUKE: "I know it is a lot to take in but we still have to talk about the kyubi sealed inside of you."
