Chapter-37

In the Uchiha compound,

SASUKE: "Hey guys, I am back. How are things going in my absence?"

Both Naruto and Karin looked into the direction of Sasuke's voice and a smile appeared on their faces.

NARUTO: "Sasuke! You are back! Things are going great, I have been training with pervy Sage and very soon I will become stronger than you and defeat you. Believe it."

SASUKE: "Good for you Naruto, one should always dream big. Anyway let me introduce you to Karin's aunt. Her name is also Kushina like your mother. She is also an Uzumaki so you can think of her as your family."

Karin was a sensory ninja so she felt something was different about Sasuke, she can barely feel his chakra. Sasuke was using a seal to mask yin-half Kurama's chakra. On the other hand yang-half of Kurama felt his yin-half in Sasuke since he was so close to him. He wanted to ask many question, but there was no one he could talk to. He will never initiate talking to Naruto on his own. He woke up for a minute then went back to sleep.

KUSHINA: "Hello Karin, hello Naruto. I am Kushina Uzumaki, Karin's aunt. Naruto, I heard you are also an Uzumaki, so you should consider me as your family from now on."

Naruto felt some connection with Kushina, he didn't know why but he was drawn to her. He met her for the first time and her face was also covered but he still felt that he can trust her.

SASUKE: "Yes Naruto, they are both people of your clan so they are basically your family. They are going to live in Uchiha compound from now on so I suggest you also live here permanently. One should live with their family."

Naruto was getting emotional, he was alone and hated by everyone, all his life but now he met people who are willing to accept him as his family. His biggest dream was to have his own family, he kept saying he will be Hokage someday but the reason he wanted to be Hokage was to get people's recognition, what he truly wanted was friends and family. Kushina came close to Naruto and hugged him tightly, she wanted to do this for a long time and when she got so close to him she could not hold back.

Karin was confused, Sasuke told her that he wants to bring someone to village as her aunt so she played along, now she don't understand why that person is hugging Naruto and did not even look at her once, wasn't she supposed to be 'her aunt'.

Naruto started crying, he didn't know why but he felt like it. He felt as if all his sadness were fading away, he felt very comfortable and safe with nothing to worry about. He cried for some time and fell asleep in her embrace. Sasuke and Karin went to their respective rooms while Kushina let Naruto sleep in her lap for whole night.

Next day, on Sasuke's and Kushina's insistence Naruto permanently shifted to Uchiha compound. Karin asked Sasuke the relationship between Naruto and Kushina but Sasuke told her that she will know when the time is right. Sasuke knew that revealing truth to Karin won't cause any problem, she will keep the secret, but Sasuke has been acting like mysterious arrogant protagonist for some time and he love acting that way. He loves to talk big and act as everything is under control. Karin does not know that a jutsu can bring dead people back, if she doesn't knew for sure that Naruto's parents were dead, she would have guessed that Kushina is Naruto's mother.

Both Hokage and Danzo were not happy about Naruto living in Uchiha compound but Naruto was a genin now and they cannot force him to leave without any solid reason. Both of them did not like Sasuke and were wary of him, if not for being afraid of Itachi's retaliation, Danzo would already have taken action against Sasuke. He has been keeping Sasuke and Naruto under surveillance and he did not like their friendship.

Naruto did not want to go to train next day, he wanted to stay in Uchiha compound with Kushina, but Sasuke insisted so he has to leave. Sasuke also joined Naruto when he was leaving to meet Jiraya for his training. Sasuke was planning to ask Jiraya to help him get in contact with toads. He did not necessarily want them as summons but he wanted to ask there help with learning senjutsu. Hagoromo Otsutsuki learned senjutsu from toads, Naruto also learned from them in cannon so he also decided that they are the best option. His other option is to learn either from snakes or slugs. He is planning to stay clear of Orochimaru so snakes are out of question and he don't have any connections with Tsunade so slugs are also out of equation.

Jiraya was little surprised to see Sasuke tagging along with Naruto. Third Hokage have told him that Sasuke is close friend and teammate of Naruto and according to Hokage, 'kid is not that simple and he should be careful of him'. After talking to third Hokage, Jiraya also asked Kakashi about Sasuke, since he is their Jonin sensei. What Kakashi told him was shocking, according to Kakashi, Sasuke has lot of hidden cards and even Kakashi doesn't have the confidence to make Sasuke go all out against him in real battle. He basically told him that Sasuke is stronger than him. While Jiraya was contemplating, Sasuke spoke;

SASUKE: "You must be Jiraya one of the legendary Sanin and teammate of that disgusting snake. You three have such a great reputation in ninja world, but in reality, one is a pedophile who likes to kidnap children, second is a drunkard and a gambler and the third is a super pervert who peep around women's bath-house and write porn."

JIRAYA: "HEY KID! I DON'T PEEP AROUND WOMEN'S BATHROOM, THAT IS RESEARCH, AND ALSO I DON'T WRITE PORN, THEY ARE GREAT NOVEL WHICH AN IDIOT LIKE YOU CANNOT APPERECIATE.

Cough…cough, sorry about that, you are just a brat, when you grow up you will learn to appreciate my great literature.

I heard a lot about you, Kakashi told me that you are stronger than an elite jonin. As your senior I will give you an advice kid. Don't let a little strength get to your head, respect your seniors and don't act so arrogant, if you underestimate your opponents, you will not even know how you died."

SASUKE: "Well I am the arrogant but mysterious protagonist so I have to act my part. For your information, I do act arrogant but that doesn't mean I underestimate my opponent, otherwise I would have left the village for hunting my brother."
