Oh, right! Hehehe, I sent that false report to Yagura so that he leaves Kiri for a while. Knowing his personality, he wouldn't put faith in anyone else to get rid of the rebels.

So I am preeeeetty sure that he has already left for Rokko, where he will find nothing, HOHOHO.

And if my calculations are correct, Zabuza should be able to easily take over Kiri during Yagura's absence and then the rest of the Resistance will be called back to Kiri. Then they will come crawling back to me for assisstance and the gramps will come to them as the knight in shining armor that he is. Well, knight in shining armor and an eye-patch. Yeah, that sound better.

Welllll~ I am not completely sure if Yagura can beat them all. Nnnnn~ But there is a chance he will lose.

I mean Mei, Zabuza and the other elites are no joke.

Then again… Yagura is one of the strongest Jichurikis… And a perfect one at that. Damn bastard. I IS SO JEALOUSSSS!!!!

I mused on my picture perfect plan and started humming some songs from my past life. Lately I was forgetting some of the things of my past life.

I thought, 'It's probably for the best. I don't want to remember those idiotic days anyway…

I started writing down many of the marvels of the modern world. I started thinking about the things that will be a wonderful addition to this world's ambience. And some that are absolutely necessary for living properly.

Like installing sitting toilets…

Most of the toilets in the Naruto world were the squatting kind… And as good as they were for your glutes and all, it SUCKED!!!

For a modern man who spends hundreds of hours per year in the toilet browsing the internet. So squatting down to do your business sounds more than UNACCEPTABLE!

I was almost done writing down the things that I think would be necessary, or simply the things that I might forget.

'I really should have asked for a computer from that Sissy… Or maybe like a certain harem protagonist, a cellphone that worked in any world and didn't need charging or reception for the internet.

Sigh! Welp no point in brooding over it now…'

"Hmm, and judging by the time, Guruguru should be arriving any moment now." I thought out loud.

"You wanted to see me, Mitsu-chi?" A voice was heard behind me.

I calmly looked back and said with a slight smile, "Oh speaking of the devil, you are right on time, Tobi! So what's the status?"

'The frickidy frick? I... He is getting better and better at stealth. And that blasted Mayfly ability of his… He is getting more creative on how to use that shit. Damn if I didn't have the gamer's mind, I would be shitting my pants now…

For sensors like myself, we can almost never be caught off guard. But, when it actually happens once in a blue moon... Anyone would surely shit their pants. Sigh! I need to be more careful…'

I glanced at Tobi, and I felt a bit strange.

Tobi doesn't have a face so one can't see his facial expressions. But I can still tell a bit from his body language.

'He seems… Confused? Sad even? What in the name of Bloody Black Bull's Butt happened? Did my plan fail? Did Zabuza lose his balls and didn't take the semi obvious bait? Well, no matter, lets see what we are dealing with.' I thought.

I looked seriously at Tobi and asked, "Well? Do you have something to share?"

"Umm… Mitsu-chi, did you want to kill many people with the help of Yagura?"

A very peculiar question.

My new feelings aside, even at my assholish state, I would never kill people willy-nilly. What the heck happened for this fool to ask me that.

"The answer to your question is a hard NO! I WOULD never kill ordinary people unless they did something unforgivable. I am a prince, my subjects are my base. Now tell me, what brought this up?

You wouldn't ask me something so ridiculous… Unless…

Did Yagura kill many?" I was stunned as I got to my own answer.

'That can't be… That wasn't in my plan… From what I knew of Yagura from the anime, he was so distrustful of everyone that he would for sure try to kill the rebels by himself. He wouldn't trust his subordinates for such a mission…

That's how Yagura fought that seven ninja horseman of Akatsuki and Ichi in canon…

Where did I go wrong?

When did that fight happen in the canon?

Was it this year? Last year? 2 years from now?

When did Yagura actually die? No...…'

I came to a grim realization.

A realization that I couldn't believe I was just having…

'I made a huge mistake…

DAMN IT!

I forgot the flaw of Naruto…

The holes in the timeline…

There were really not much information on the timelines before the actual Naruto's story. Most of them were fillers and flashbacks… I made a huge mistake... I was working with vague knowledge...

SHIT!

And there is also me. I am an anomaly. I changed so much. Why can't that be Yagura as well?

What if the lunatic Yagura of this timeline was still intelligent and reluctantly trusted his minions?

I am thinking too much, let me hear what happened first.'

I then saw Tobi nodding his head slowly. He didn't start talking but instead gave me a letter.

"Mitsu-chi, I will return to Kiri. I think I should observe there and help when I can. Call me if you need me." Tobi said and disappeared with his Mayfly.

He didn't even wait for a second after his report.

I sighed lightly. And slowly opened the letter.

There were 3 pages. And the writing style spoke of Tobi through and through.

It was messy and all over the place.

I started reading the 'reports' from my shadow minion. There I learned of Zabuza's location. About Haku and the demon brothers. About how Yagura answered to his whisper.

*Clench*

'He really didn't take the bait and sent his subordinates instead…'

I then read about the rebels attacking even though they thought it was a trap. I read how Yagura made quick work of them. How Yagura turned into his three tailed state when he was cornered.

I read about the despair of the ninjas present.

*Frown*

I read how Yagura cast a forbidden Jutsu in his own village.

*Gritting my teeth*

'That bastard... He killed so many innocents… And those that were meant to be his own people. People he was supposed to protect.'

I started feeling guilty, a feeling of dread was about to fall on me, make me depressed…

But right then.

<Gamer's Mind>

The greatest passive skill and the best wish I asked that day activated.

And I started thinking about the whole thing again but in a more relaxed manner.

'This isn't directly my fault. My actions might have initiated this, but it was still Yagura who broke his vow and attacked his own people. His actions are condemnable, and I am pretty sure all the nations will condemn him.

And I can't bring the dead back to life… I don't have some magical yellow balls, so there is no point thinking about that either.

*Sigh*

But there is one thing I can do.

I looked resolutely towards the sky.

'The departed souls that died because of my mistake. I can promise you all, that I will avenge you.

I promise to liberate you and take care of you from after.

That i promise as Kaneko Mitsu, the prince of FIre.' I thought about it and closed my eyes to give myself a little rest.

The next morning.

I got up early and was preparing for the trip to Kiri.

I was sure that the news of the destruction will reach the Resistence this morning, and they would surely come and ask for the Warlord's help.

I went to my closet and took out a very special black jacket. It was a bit tight now.

I caressed it and thought internally, 'Hina… I truly miss you.'

And just as I started putting my jacket on, Fuzzy walked into my room hurriedly.

"MITSU-SAMA IT'S URG-" Before he could shout more and hurt my ears, I stopped him by saying.

"I already know Fuzzy. Let's go. We don't have time to waste…"

Fuzzy looked at me baffled and with a bit of question in his eyes, but he refrained from asking anything.

He bowed slightly and waited for me to get ready.

I went to my desk and picked up the sheathed sword laying on it. The sword really was special.

Well, I shouldn't expect any less from a legendary weapon.

"Come Iwanaga. You will probably taste blood again."

[A/N: Hey there, beautiful people! Mitsu is a human too! He makes miscalculations. And yes I wanted to put the full of holes timeline concept into the fanfic. Coz not many fanfics actually show that there was a real gap on the MC's knowledge as the plots have many holes.
