LET THE CHAPTER BEGIN

Drake chuckled at Aki's sudden question after he was brought out by Luke with 'He's just sleeping'

"One Piece? Is that some sort of a treasure?"

Aki was surprised, he was about sixty percent sure he had traveled to another anime verse after getting killed by Danzo. But these reactions told him another story.

"It's from a story popular among the masses from where I come from. The ultimate treasure pirates are searching for." Aki explained the origins of his surprise.

"Ah, if it's a treasure we're searching for, we have an ultimate one of our own" One of the crewmates, a blond girl with a bandaged right arm said while playing with a knife.

"Oh? A treasure," Aki smiled at the mention of this world.

Would they really remain as loyal when they found it? As far as I know, its treasure that makes betrayals.

Drake's grin widened, clearly entertained by Aki's curiosity. "Aye, treasure worth more than gold, kid. Something most pirates would never dream of. But it ain't the kind that brings betrayal. Not to us, at least."

Aki raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "And what kind of treasure is that?"

The blonde girl, still toying with her knife, glanced at Drake before answering. "It's a person, not a pile of jewels or coins. Our captain here has been chasing after his princess for years. We're not after riches—we're after love."

Aki blinked, taken aback by the bluntness of her response. A treasure hunt for love? It was absurd, yet somehow... fitting, given the eccentricity of the crew.

Drake laughed heartily at Aki's reaction. "Sounds crazy, doesn't it? But that's the truth. I'm not risking my life and my crew's lives for some shiny trinkets. I'm doing it to get back what I care about."

Aki leaned back against the ship's railing, his curiosity growing. "And you really think she's still waiting for you? After all this time?"

The crew fell silent for a moment, the storm still rumbling in the distance. Drake's expression softened his usual bravado dimming just a little. "I do. It's been four years, and a lot can changed in that time. But even if she's moved on, even if she doesn't want me anymore, I have to try. For her sake and mine."

The sincerity in Drake's voice surprised Aki. He'd met all kinds of people in his time as a shinobi—many who claimed loyalty, few who truly lived by it. But this pirate captain... there was something genuine about him, something that resonated with Aki more than he expected.

"Besides," Drake added, his grin returning, "if things don't work out, at least we'll have one hell of a story to tell, right?"

The crew burst into laughter, the tension from the conversation dissolving as quickly as it had come. Aki found himself smiling along with them, despite everything. It was hard not to get swept up in their camaraderie, their unwavering faith in their captain's crazy dream.

"Alright," Aki said, standing up straight, his tone a little more serious now. "If that's the kind of crew you are, then I guess I've got no choice but to stick around for a bit. I owe you for saving me, after all."

Drake clapped Aki on the back, almost knocking him off balance. "That's the spirit, kid! You've got a place here as long as you need it."

The blonde girl leaned closer, eyeing Aki curiously. "So, what's your story, then? How'd you end up half-drowned in the middle of the ocean?"

Aki hesitated for a moment, unsure of how much he could reveal. These pirates might have saved him, but they were still strangers. And he couldn't afford to let anyone, especially them, know about his abilities or his connection to the shinobi world just yet.

"I was on a mission," he said vaguely. "Things went south, and I ended up here. Let's just say I've got a few people who wouldn't mind seeing me dead."

The crew exchanged glances, their interest piqued, but they didn't press him for more details.

"Well, lucky for you," Drake said, "you're not the only one with enemies. Stick with us, and no one'll be able to touch you."

Aki nodded, though his mind was still racing. He'd need to figure out his next move, how to get back to the shinobi world, and how to deal with Danzo. But for now, maybe it wouldn't hurt to lie low with these pirates, just until he had a plan. After all, it wasn't every day you got a chance to sail with a crew like this.

The storm had begun to clear, the ocean calming as the ship sailed on. In the distance, the faint silhouette of an island began to take shape, and Aki's thoughts shifted.

Wherever this journey with Drake and his crew led, it would certainly be an adventure.

Back to the map

A few months had already passed, even with Hiruzen's best efforts. The war still took over the lands, and 4th Raikage wasn't one to listen anymore.

He missed Aki, a boy captured for the sake of creating a dojutsu clan now was a king in his heart, someone to be cherished and worth waging wars for.

In these few months, a few things happened, Naruto turned 8, Itachi 13, and Aki became 11. Negotiations with the hidden cloud failed miserably after Konoha failed to produce Aki even after months of searching.

But was Konoha at its weakest since its inception? No, it was still a strong village with overpowered shinobi like the 2 of the legendary Sanin who returned to join the war.

The Uchiha clan did not have to go through the massacre, because of the tension in the air. Itachi and Shisui's existence put the power grade even higher.

Kumo wasn't bad too, with most ninjas in all shinobi villages and inheritances like the storm release they were a force to be reckoned with. But even then there is no doubt, the Hidden Leaf is the strongest village.

Let's move into the battlefield instead of boring ourselves with this useless chatter.

Thunder crackled overhead, with dark clouds looming overhead and rain watering the battlefield as if it were spring.

Shisui stood on top of a tall rock observing the cloud shinobi below and he glanced at his little friend Itachi who was standing just beside him.

'When will the conflict, pain and suffering end?' Itachi thought to himself. He was totally against any kind of war and wanted to be strong enough so the world would one day listen to him.

"Get ready," Shisui said as a group of cloud ninja was moving towards their position. "let's go"

With those words, both Shisui and Itachi moved down the rock with extreme speed. One 17 and one 13-year-old boy moved at the same time.

Shisui had succeeded in keeping Kotoamatsukami a secret only known to the two boys and the Hokage. He might have shown it to the clan to end the conflict had it been escalated to a coup.

"Stay sharp!" one of the Kumo jonins barked to his comrades, but Shisui had already disappeared from their sight.

Itachi, following closely behind, moved with deadly precision. His Sharingan spun, predicting the movements of the enemy as he unleashed a series of kunai, each one hitting its mark.

A Kumo ninja lunged at him, but Itachi sidestepped effortlessly, delivering a quick blow that left the man unconscious before he hit the ground.

The two Uchiha boys fought with such synchronization, their attacks perfectly complementing each other, that it was as though they had been doing this for years.

But despite their effectiveness, Itachi's heart weighed heavy. Every strike, every fallen enemy, reminded him of the endless cycle of violence that plagued their world.

"Shisui," Itachi murmured between movements, his voice barely audible above the sound of the storm. "How many more will we have to fight? How many more must die before this all ends?"

Meanwhile, elsewhere on the battlefield. Two elites clashed

Darui, Kumo's top jonin, and Kakashi Hatake of Konoha faced each other, their eyes locking in a moment of silent recognition before the battle began.

"Chidori!" Kakashi shouted, lightning crackling in his hand as he charged forward at blinding speed.

Darui dodged the strike by a hair, forcing Kakashi into close-quarters combat.

The two engaged in a furious exchange of blows, their punches and kicks countered with equal ferocity. Kunai clashed, shuriken flew, and sparks erupted from every strike.

With a sudden burst of force, Darui landed a powerful kick to Kakashi's chest, sending him flying backward.

Before Kakashi could fully recover, Darui acted swiftly. "Storm Release: Laser Circus!"

Weaving a series of hand signs, Darui brought his arms forward, his hands pressed together as a bright halo of energy encircled them.

Multiple beams of light shot forth from his hands, streaking across the battlefield with deadly precision, all converging on a single target: Kakashi Hatake.
