Leonel/Yoriichi

He is the protagonist of the story, reborn from Earth-616, died in the most 'manly' way possible, and ended up reincarnating as Yoriichi, the daimyo of Taki no Kuni, although his only territory is Tokigakure. Reborn now as a person overweight, with over 200kg on him, Leonel, now Yoriichi, has to survive without any cheats in a world full of death and aliens with garbage eyes.

She is the leader of the ninja squad responsible for taking care of Yoriichi. She was one of the best in her class and became the protector of the daimyo in the shadows, not for any debt or good reason, they just paid well. She plays an important role in the initial plot.
Kanao

She is the samurai leader of the daimyo's mansion. Although samurai do not accept women, being the only daughter of a ronin who retired to Tokigakure, at the request of the former daimyo, she was trained by her father alongside a group of individuals. They became the squad that protects the daimyo and the only samurai in the land of Taki no Kuni (Tokigakure).

Hisen

Hisen ruled over Takigakure for many years, during which the daimyo abandoned power and indulged in pleasures. He handled everything as the leader of the village until Leonel transmigrated into the daimyo's body and began to bring positive changes to the village and the entire country. In the canon, he dies after drinking the hero's water while trying to protect his village from foreign powers. The water granted him temporary strength improvements but shortened his life, leading to a rather premature disappearance. His position as the leader passed on to his son, Shibuki.
Senji

The former leader of the village, he stepped down from his position and handed everything over to his son. He is also the godfather of Leonel/Yoriichi and had a close relationship with the former daimyo. He is the current strongest ninja in the village, reaching the level of a mid-level Jonin. However, due to his extensive experience, he can display the strength of a high-level Jonin. He is considered the 'elder' of the village, or the closest thing to one, and his strength diminishes year by year due to his age, nearly 60 years old.
