Determination

Once Ken finished rotating his chakra, he swiftly rose to his feet and began contemplating.

"In this world, I am Tasumi Rai. I've been fond of my name, Ken Jones, but it's time to retire it," Rai thought to himself. "This is a realm brimming with gods and super ninjas, and I refuse to be mere cannon fodder."

With newfound determination, Rai resolved to become a ninja of significant influence in the shinobi world. "If I recall correctly, the ninja academy starts in six months. Since I've recently become an orphan, Naruto is still just a newborn. That gives me plenty of time before his journey begins. Based on my knowledge of the Naruto verse, I should be able to achieve at least the rank of jounin by then."

Out of the corner of his eye, Rai caught sight of other children making their way towards the play area. Not wanting to interact with them at the moment, he intended to leave. However, just as he was preparing to depart, the children rushed over to him. One of them exclaimed, "Wait!" Rai turned and faced them with a slightly hurried expression.

The children scanned Rai's form, their expressions filled with concern. "Hey, we saw you collapse over there by the swings. Are you doing alright?" they inquired.

Rai replied nonchalantly, "You're the ones who brought me back to the orphanage."

He proceeded to bow and express his gratitude. The two children exchanged glances, their smiles taking on a peculiar quality. "No, no, you don't have to bow. We're just glad you're okay," one of them said as they helped Rai to his feet. "You're welcome," they added.

With a busy air, Rai responded, "I have somewhere to be, but I'll make sure to repay you guys. You can count on it." He then waved at them and ran off.

As he heard the two children shouting, "Wait, you didn't get our names!" Rai paused while catching his breath. "I'll repay them later. I've got too much on my plate," he thought.

Rai needed to organize his thoughts. "I need a plan to become stronger in time for the academy," he realized. With determination, he outlined his training regimen:

Engage in physical exercises like push-ups, squats, sit-ups, and running.

Emulate kunai throwing and combat techniques.

Initiate the leaf concentration exercise and expand tenketsu points by rotating chakra. "I know its dangerous but it feels like i can do instinctually".

"It might not be perfect, but it's a start," Rai acknowledged. Since shinobi trained in the training areas, he surmised that discarded kunai might be found nearby. Rai embarked on a scavenger hunt and uncovered rusted, bent, and unusable kunai. He stashed them away for private use. Rai then began a regimen of exercises, leaf concentration, and kunai practice on trees.
