Naruto Online: The Strongest Shinobi

Michael, living in a dystopian world devastated by nuclear warfare, discovers a new VRMMORPG game called 'Elemental Nations.' Excited by the opportunity to escape his harsh reality, he purchases the Tier 1 headset and prepares to embark on an adventure. In his cramped living space, surrounded by the remnants of his previous life, Michael contemplates the hardships he and his family endure. The scarcity of resources and the confined conditions serve as constant reminders of the post-apocalyptic world they inhabit. As Michael watches the game's trailer, he recognizes familiar elements from the anime series Naruto. His passion for the show in his previous world fuels his excitement to explore this virtual rendition of the Naruto universe. However, in this new world, anime is not as popular, with people favoring slice-of-life stories over war-torn narratives. Equipped with the VR gear, Michael eagerly enters the game, expecting to unleash his knowledge of the Naruto world to become a powerful shinobi. The game's mechanics limit the number of players who can join as shinobi from the five great villages, adding a sense of exclusivity and competition to the experience. With the promise of potentially earning money through the game, Michael sees an opportunity to contribute to his family's welfare. Unemployment and limited opportunities in the real world have left him longing for a chance to make a difference. As the game servers go online, Michael finds himself transported to a new location, ready to embark on an extraordinary journey within the virtual world of Elemental Nations. Little does he know that this adventure will hold secrets, challenges, and the potential for him to become the hero he aspires to be.

Chapter 21: Ambitha

Chapter 21: Ambitha

3 days. The Anbu made it to our location in exactly 3 days. We waited outside of the village for them and I saw 100 Shinobi in masks arrive.

"A hundred Jounin. Insane fire power, don't you think so?" Sensei asked them.

When he said 100 Jounin, my eyes widened in Shock. 100 Anbu level Jounin were sent, which meant that they were just on standby.

As long as I moved up within the village, I would have command over these many Shinobi as well…

"You would think so, but we were ordered to kill every single person here and leave only the lead scientists alive." The man in charge spoke.

"I understand." Naido-sensei said as he turned towards me.

"Will he be a problem for this mission?" The commander asked me.

"Not at all, I believe this would be a good experience for him." Naido-sensei told me. I simply nodded, I didn't really have any sway over the situation.

"Good. I have 50 men surrounding the village already. They are simply waiting for my signal." The commander mentioned.

50 more huh…

"Your call." Sensei said as he tapped my shoulder and said, "The Anbu here will do their killings while we go to the underground basement."

The Anbu commander raised his hand and lightning chakra gathered on the tip of his fingers, and shot right into the sky.

All the Ninja disappeared from in front of us, and no sound could be heard but I knew a massacre was occurring in the village.

"Alright then, let's move." Naido-sensei said, as I followed him and even the Anbu commander followed us.

Naido sensei brought us to the back of the village and eventually we went through this secret hatchet which brought us to an elevator.

Going down the elevator, we eventually went to a gun range area.

"Sensei, this seems more like a training area than a manufacturing area." I told Naido-sensei, as he walked around.

"Shikomu." He called out to me. "There's 40 people inside of this location. 5 people are Genin. Eliminate them all."

I nodded and took out a Kunai to hold inside of my hand and looked through the door to see 9 people inside of the room.

I used the Shadow Possession Jutsu from the outside, and had my shadow connected to them all at the same time. As soon as the shadow connected to all of them, I used the Neck Strangle Jutsu and snapped all their necks at the same time.

Going into the room, I walked around to see that the 9 people inside of the room were there for maintenance of some pistols.

I then made sure to carefully make the corpses fall onto the floor with minimal amounts of sound.

"HEY!" However it seemed like no matter how quiet I tried to be, it didn't matter since the second the last corpse touched the ground, a man walked into the room with a loaded pistol in his hand.

"Put your hands in the air!" He shouted loudly and right behind him I could see more people rushing into the room.

I had a small smile creep up onto my face.

It took less than a second for all 5 armored people, which I assumed were the Genin, ran into the room and pointed their pistols at me.

Looking at their orderly movement, I suspected that they were trained professionals in the real world.

"Sure, I'll put my hands up." I mentioned with a smile, as I jumped onto the ceiling and dangled from it.

However as soon as I made contact with the ceiling my feet shattered the light source shrouding the room in darkness, the shadow from my feet quickly extended and paralyzing everyone there.

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*

A massive explosion was heard from the other side of the underground location, from where we had arrived from.

I instantly recognised that we were inside when we entered and made shadow clones to kill the remaining people.

I used the body flicker Jutsu to run back into the original room to see what was going on and what I saw shocked me.

A massive gaping hole could be seen, which led all the way into the surface. I could still feel a residual insane amount of Chakra inside of the air.

The entire room was filled with destruction and was rundown and I could see Sensei just casually staring at a woman that was standing at the top of the destruction.

"I am surprised. A Jounin level combatant was in another basement that even I didn't know about." Sensei said casually, not even caring that he made a mistake.

"I am not just a Jounin level combatant." The woman said as she raised her arm, and intense amounts of fire began to build right at the palm of her hand.

I instantly thought about Ninja technology from the Boruto anime far, far into the future.

Sensei just continued to smile at the massive amounts of Fire chakra that was building up in front of us.

"Ah, Shikomu." Sensei called out, without even turning to my side.

I turned to sensei, to see him and slightly behind him even the Anbu commander was right there.

I was getting worried slightly, since the woman didn't stop and the massive amounts of fire chakra just increased slowly until the entire massive hole was filled with a massive attack.

"Let me show you how to 'dismantle' some Jutsu's." Sensei said with a smile.

Dismantling Jutsu?

"TAKE THIS!" The woman shouted as she released the massive Fire-ball, however as the fire-chakra moved towards us, Sensei just raised one of his hand.

"Don't worry," I heard the Anbu commander say as he walked into the room I had just come out from.

"I will see if there's any more hiding. Just watch your sensei's unique style of fighting. There aren't many that get such an opportunity." He voiced out as he walked into the room.

"Ambitha." Sensei voiced out, as light blue chakra was emitted from his hand, and waves of it slowly moved into the atmosphere.

As it did, the residual wind chakra slowly calmed down, and the chakra made contact with the Fire ball flying towards us, which also followed shortly.

As they both collided, there wasn't any explosion.

There wasn't a massive shockwave.

There was just…pure, raw Chakra being sent into the atmosphere.
