[A/N]: Alright I guess my break is over, I am sorry if the chapter seems kinda choppy as I have been taking Language Arts in college and I have been writing way too much for my liking... thank you everyone for waiting for me, I am still dealing with a lot but I am MUCH better, I will be trying to stockpile chapters as I write so I can have them auto release everyday so I can take another break with chapters still coming out for you guys. Enjoy the chapter!

-Konoha, Kenji POV-

"Huh?" Mutters Kenji, as he wakes up in his bedroom.

'How did I get here? I thought I was in ROOT with Danzo...' As he remembers what almost happened, he breaks out in a cold sweat.

Then, he remembers who came to save him.

'Yasu...? Has been watching me this whole time?' Thinks Kenji, as he gives a small smile at that.

"So what now..." Mutters Kenji, as he gets out of bed to go use the restroom.

After he finishes, he gets ready and leaves his apartment and heads to the Academy so he can meet his new sensei and his fellow teammates.

'Hopefully I get some useful teammates... I want to reach Chunin so I can go on some real missions.' Thinks Kenji, as he is walking past some young kids.

"Hey! Give that back!" Yells a young boy.

As Kenji turns to look what is going on, he sees a young boy covered in dirt on the ground, and 2 other young buys looking down on the boy.

"And why should we, loser?" Asks on the boys, as he smirks at the boy on the ground.

"Please... my mother gave me that..." Says the boy pleadingly.

After Kenji hears what the boy said, he walks up to them and says. "Leave him alone."

"And who are you?" Asks the bully's, as he glares at Kenji.

"Someone you shouldn't mess with." Says Kenji, as he runs towards one of the boys and punches him in the stomach, then knocks him to the ground.

"How dare you?!" Yells one of the Bully's, as he runs towards Kenji and throws a punch.

As Kenji catches his punch, he pulls him towards himself and slams him face first into the ground, then knocks him out and continues to the last bully.

"Stay back!" Yells the last Bully, as he turns around and tries' to run.

As the boy was running, Kenji catches up and chops the back of the boys neck, knocking him out.

'Well that should do it.' Thinks Kenji, as he walks back to the boy and crouches down.

"You alright kid?" Says Kenji, as he helps the boy up.

"Y-yes... thank you..." Says the boy, as he gets up and runs away.

'Sigh, Why do people have to bully each other like this...' Thinks Kenji, as he starts walking to the academy again.

As Kenji arrives at the academy, he goes inside to his classroom and waits for their sensei so he can announce which team they will be assigned to. After around 25 minutes, their sensei finally arrives and addresses the class.

"Alright kids, I will now be announcing who your new sensei's will be." Says their Sensei.

As Kenji waits for his name to be called, he looked around the classroom at all of his fellow classmates and thinks to himself. 'Now that I think about it, we have all grown a lot compared to when we first started... although I have grown the most.'

"Team 5, Sudo Orochu, Urane Guazer, Kenji Atsuko." Says their Sensei. "Your sensei will be Jonin Yuno."

'Jonin Yuno, who is that?' Thinks Kenji, as he looks at his future partners. 'And they are among the worst in the class... this is going to be annoying, but as long as I get some action it should be fine.'

"Hey Kenji, we will both be on the same team huh?" Says Sudo, as he looks at where Kenji is sitting. 

"I guess so." Says Kenji, as he looks at the ceiling with a uninterested look on his face.

After all the teams were announced, the teacher started talking about a few other things, which Kenji didn't bother to listen to. As Kenji was thinking about the future, he finally hears the teacher say, "Alright, please wait here for your new sensei to come get you."

After the teacher said, he walked out of the class as all the students start talking to their new teammates.

"Kenji, do you think we will get some awesome missions?" Asks Urane, as she sits next to Kenji. 

"I doubt it, I think the first missions we will be doing are D class missions, which is just helping around the village." Says Kenji, as he looks over at Urane.

As Kenji and Urane were talking, their new sensei walked into the room and said, "Team 5, come with me."

After they hear that, all three of them get up and leave the class to follow their sensei.
