As Kuzo constantly appeared and disappeared around Kuki at high speed,the audience was having difficulties even spotting Kuzo,they all watched in anticipation of how the young bandaged samurai would counter Kuzo's flashy movements.

Kuki's blood continued to drip ever so slightly as his vision started to become blurry(at this point his byakugan is already turned off because of straining) ,his legs were losing their strength,his young body couldn't handle this degree of blood loss yet.

Kuzo started cackling "What's wrong kid?where's all the confidence you had earlier"

Hearing his opponent's taunting,Kuki,who was grinning the whole time started to move.he dropped his two jumbo sized knives onto the ground and got into an odd stance.

"Why are you dropping your weapons?giving up?"Kuzo said with a smug tone as the audience gasped in shock.

"Did your candidate give up Isane?"Samurai general Mifune, who was sitting with the samurai captains, asked Isane.

"It may seem that way,but he's not done enjoying that fight, I'm afraid"Isane chuckled knowing that Kuki isn't going to surrender anytime soon.

"Nonsense!can't you see that Kuzo had basically had your kiddo trapped,I bet he's quitting"the captain of the 9th division laughed at Isane's amusing statement.

"You'll see…"Isane said confidently.

Wind was being generated from Kuzo's fast movements,Kuki's hair and clothing were fluttering from the wind.Knowing that Kuki knows how his technique works,Kuzo is buying time for Kuki to bleed out while slowly approaching Kuki to finish him off. Abruptly,Kuki took a deep breath and closed his eyes.

Seeing that his opponent just gave him a perfect opening,Kuzo rushed in at high speeds.

But then,Kuki opened his right eye, revealing his byakugan fully active and then locked his aim into the approaching Kuzo.A glaring weakness of Kuzo's movement technique,the mirage style is that once the user launches themselves at their target,they can't forcefully stop nor steer away.

Knowing this fact,Kuki internationally dropped his weapons and closed his eyes to seem vulnerable,successfully fooling Kuzo.

Kuzo's face paled as he realized that he had been tricked yet he couldn't do anything about it except for committing to his attack.

Arriving near Kuki,Kuzo instantly swung his sword at Kuki's torso,predicting this attack,Kuki took one step back ,narrowly dodging Kuzo's swing and stepped forward in quick succession.

Kuki hastily strikes at Kuzo's unarmoured body parts such as his joints and face 'Gentle fist: Eight trigram sixteen palm' Kuki mumbled as the strikes 16 of Kuzo's tenketsu points.Moments after Kuzi's barrage,Kuzo's body fell to the ground paralyzed and knocked out cold.

This happened in mere seconds in real-time,with the audience barely understanding what had just happened while Isane turned his head smugly to the 9th division captain with his face spelling the words 'I told you so',the captain's face became as red as a tomato as Suzune burst into laughter.

Seeing that he had won,Kuki gave out a small and creepy chuckle as he whispered "That was fun,thank you~" before waddling to where Hozuki was fighting to assist him.

Hozuki and Zoku were trading blows with each and every blow rumbling the ground around them.

"Hozuki!Do you need my help?"Kuki shouted as he childishly put his palms around his mouth in an O shape.

Turning his head to Kuki,Hozuki noticed Kuki's terrible condition and replied "You should rest,leave this to me!"

Seeing that his brother had been defeated,Zoku screamed in anger (in a very squeaky tone" at Hozuki saying things like "you'll pay for that!" and "get ready to be beaten" as Kuki just casually waddled off the arena putting his trust in Hozuki.
