Chapter 6 The Reward
The morning light shined on the camp as several ninjas woke up while some that were patrolling were finally allowed to relax
No one seemingly noticed Usagi hop back into his tent,
Usagi looked at Shisui sleeping peacefully in his bag and sighed in relief
'Thankfully i didnt get caught on anything or else things would have gotten very weird and dangerous' thought Usagi as he slipped into his sleeping bag
Though he failed to notice Shisui opening his eyes as he saw Usagi turn around and close his eyes
'Is this....the smell of blood' Shisui thought, his eyes full of confusion and slight worry

"GET UP!"
"WOHHO!" Usagi who had not even slept for more then an hour was awoken from his dreams
In his dreams,he was able to turn into a giant rabbit and pluck the moon to eat it
"Damn you! Why did you wake me up so early !" Usagi cursed out loud as he directly accused Shisui who looked at him with a cheeky grin
"Hehe! I was just worried you might get scolded by the leader so i decided to kindly wake you up" smirked Shisui before he rushed out of the tent leaving behind Usagi who had to begrudgingly get up as he went through his clothes
Unlike Shisui who slept while wearing his combat clothes, Usagi had to spend some time cleaning his clothes so he was rather naked when he came back
Pulling out his scroll,he took out another set of clothes,his eyes resting on his kunai and shuriken
'It only took me forty or fifty minutes to deal with soldiers, an hour max but four hours went by in my world...thankfully i was able to make it back in time

'Alright Alright! Give em to me' Usagi muttered as he put on his headband
At the time he came back, Usagi refrained from recieving the rewards as he was sneaking back into camp and didnt want to risk the sensor ninjas coming to check him in case something abnormal happened
But now that he was alone, he decided it was time to take the rewards, who knows when he will die on the battlefield so it was better to strengthen himself
Not to mention he might suffer the fate of being a stepping stone for Uchihia Shisui
'Damn Shisui,although you are my friend,i dont want to die to give you fancy eyes' joked Usagi as he accepted the rewards
The next moment, Usagi felt a cool sensation travel through his body,his height increasing by a small margin, his previous purple eyes appeared to be glistening like glowing moss before the came back to normal
Aside from the spiritual and physical enhancement brought along with the significant increase in chakra, Usagi's consciousness went through memories that seemed foreign yet familiar to him
Though only a monent passed in the real world, he felt like he had been practicing this Wind Release jutsu. The Great breakthrough his whole life
"T-this! This is awesome" Usagi grinned as he recalled the feeling
"So this is what it means to master the jutsu,i have truly mastered it,my mastery of The Great Breathrough using half my Low Chunin Chakra Allows me to blow winds of high magnitude, enough to hinder ninja of same rank to keep advancing towards me,repel some level of ninjutsu ,Completely blow away Genins and that too with a single seal,HAHA!"
"HEY! what are you laughing at kid! Quickly report for duty unless you want to get tortured to death" A ninja walked into the tent admonishing Usagi who smiled sheepishly
His mind had gone astray equipped with the new jutsu, Mastery allowed him to execute the Jutsu with a single seal,without diminishing its power
'I should learn to stay calm at all times, although i have accumulated the experience and assimilated Usagi-san's memories, i am still a long way from becoming a shinobi" thought Usagi as he got out of the tent only to be faced with the giant smirk ridden face of Shisui
"You could have warned me!" Usagi pointed out to which Shisui simply whistled and shrugged his shoulders
"And you could have taken me with you when you went out yesterday to eat some game" replied Shisui
Usagi who heard him nearly froze in shock before he quickly calmed down seeing as Shisui hadnt fully caught on
'It seems i must have left some clue, i am pretty sure i cleaned myself thoroughly...lets just say its because he is a genius"
"Haha! Sorry sorry,next time i will get some for you as well"
The two shinobi followed the crowd as they made way for their next mission
A ninja battle consists of two types, one is an all out war and the other is a war of strategies and fortunately for Usagi, this was a war of strategy and a head on war
Usagi along with some other ninja were given guard duty as Genin wouldnt be of much use while Shisui who was already very famous was invited over by several Chunin
'It seems that i dont need to risk my life for now,seems like i can grow stronger without worrying about the war for now'
Thought Usagi as he watched Shisui leave while he and the other Genins were asked to do some patrol around the camp
Halfway through his duty Usagi decided not to wait
