Smiles Mizuki while he wonders the pros and cons of taking Iruka's suggestion on, don't get him wrong, even if not on the level of original, he too is a prideful person, but pride dosen't mean much to him if the benifits outweigh it tenfold.

That stunned Iruka in place with wide eyes, so much so that Mizuki would have wondered if he was under the added weight rock technique.

" That's great Mizuki! Nicee! O-Oh I mean it's great that you are at least thinking about this seriously... "

Rubbing the back of his head sheepishly Iruka slowly stopped taking and making it worse than he already did.

The last thing he wanted was his blabbering to ruin this chance for Mizuki.

Iruka wondered as he saw tiny finger sized fish swimming around in what he can only assume is a glass container

" Aquarium? Mizuki are you interested in pet fish? I didn't see that a few days.. "

Mizuki looked over to the fish in question as he removed the carry scrolls from his Ninja vest pocket and put them down one by one on a shelf.

" That? That's something I am working on, they aren't ordinary fish, they got chakra you see. "

Iruka raised his eyebrows, seeing his friend was being serious about these tiny critters having chakra, he went forward towards the container.

Thought Iruka as he dipped his hand in the tank and grabbed a fish swimming by with his quick fingers, a great show of skill, for a normal person that is. For a Ninja having quick fingers is not much of a choice, it is very much a necessity.

Keeping the struggling fish in hand but not wanting to take it out of the water completely and see it struggle, Iruka thought of a comprising, swiftly keeping the head inside water he took the rest of the body out.

' There that should be good, fish won't struggle as much and I don't have to use search for chakra under water '

Iruka was happy until he saw Mizuki's speechless look towards him, taking a look at himself, Iruka started blushing and stammered

" I.. I still can't use chakra underwater.. so.. "

Mizuki laughed and waved his hands to tell Iruka to do what he wants while he went on with task of hanging his flak jacket in just the right spot.

Forcing a smile Iruka decided the get it over it quickly and put somes of his chakra inside the fish.

This is a neat little trick non sensors can use to check if someone has different than normal amounts of chakra in their body, though it isn't much use in battle or even daily life.

" You really should work on your chakra control Iruka, that technique if you can even call it that, is a glorified genjutsu breaking, getting chakra in traget body and checking the resistance of doing so does work okay enough, but at least get used to it in situations that doesn't require target to be so incredibly still, it's okay for a fish but any academy student worth their salt can resist this and give a wrong induction.. At least get it working under water, it'll help counter the any resistance from non civilians "

Mizuki told Iruka as he saw him struggling, Iruka was turning out to be a good friend and a good investment, giving some obvious but thoughtful care is a good choice of action, and Mizuki is all about action.

" I know Mizuki.. it's just.. I have been busy with the students lately and didn't have enough time.. Don't give me that pitying look you bastard! enough with that- Wow, how did you..? That's lot of chakra for a fish.. How did you do that? "

Gaped Iruka stopping mid sentence as he got a feel of the fish's chakra, that's a good amount of chakra even for a civilian dog, much less a fish this small.. Mizuki had really stuck gold with this, it's a talented one, if smarter it could have been his summoned beast, pity they don't have techniques like aburame to get low intelligence creatures to listen..

Thinking alpna these line Iruka quickly let the fish go and pinched a different one, just to see how much of a special case that one was..

Turning towards Mizuki Iruka cried out with disbelief

" This one has chakra too?! And that much again! Hey did you figure out some new technique? Did an aburame teach you? Did you land yourself an aburame girl! You quick bastard! Is it her gift- Ouch!! "

Stopping Iruka right in the tracks with a well placed knock to the head, Mizuki said in a dry tone

" Quit reaching, like an aburame knows how to show anything love related, other than being all sneaky with trees all I see them doing is playing with their bugs, and I ain't either of those. "

Iruka rubbed his head as he looked towards Mizuki, expecting him to finish the sentence.

" Yeah, It's a new technique of mine, though it's not much of a technique either.. you see Iruka, I think somewhere along the line, while pursuing ninjutsu, kekkei genkai and forbidden techniques, we ninjas have lost sight of what truly makes us, well, ninjas. "

" Huh, what's that supposed to mean? "

" It means chakra Iruka, it means chakra, why does it exist, how does it grow, how is it extracted and how does it flow? Why do some have more and some have less? Is it set in stone or can I do something about it, questions like these are what what brought me to a few curious conclusions.. "

Letting a smile show Mizuki said in a peppy tone

Smiling, he looked towards Iruka, as the person in question stood wide eyed and surprised at what his friend had just show infornt of him

' This is big, Mizuki might be on the way to create a high level technique here, B rank? No.. in the right hands it could be A rank.. uhh why tell me this.. he should have kept it to himself '

Iruka thought distracted as Mizuki showed a smile, not one of happiness this time around, but one of a plan well executed. Or a pawn set in motion? That's only something Mizuki would know until it's time to his actions to bear fruit.
