The Wind Release: Rasengan, integrated wind chakra nature with the traditional Rasengan, resulting in enhanced cutting power and unique properties such as it being throwable.

This advanced technique had three notable variations which were the Ring Variation, the Air Current Variation, and the Shuriken Variation.

Each variation highlighted different aspects of wind chakra manipulation as well as shape manipulation, to provide distinct advantages and require varying levels of mastery.

The first one, Ring Variation, was a green-coloured Rasengan, circular like the rest, that introduced wind chakra nature in such a way that it created a ring around the sphere, resembling the planet Saturn. 

This ring significantly enhanced the slicing power of the Rasengan, making it more effective at slicing through targets. The ring itself acted as a blade, adding an extra layer of damage upon impact. 

This variation showcased the delicate balance of maintaining the Rasengan's shape while incorporating wind chakra to form the ring, highlighting the user's control and precision in chakra manipulation.

The next variation was the Air Current Variation. It was smaller than the normal Rasengan and similarly circular that contained the least amount of wind chakra among the three variations.

Despite its smaller size, this variation attracted surrounding air currents. The air currents enhanced the Rasengan's rotational force, adding to its overall power. 

This was also the variation that Renjiro had been training with for the last couple of days. The lack of progress in making it throwable was forcing him to look into the other variations. 

This variation emphasized the principle of enhancing a technique by leveraging external elements, making it a versatile and adaptable form of the Wind Release: Rasengan.

The last one, the Shuriken Variation formed shuriken-like wind blades around the Rasengan, creating a more defined and powerful cutting edge compared to the ring in the Ring Variation. 

This version contained a higher concentration of wind chakra than the previous two, resulting in more potent, defined and precise blades. 

The Shuriken Variation formed the foundation for the Wind Release: Rasenshuriken, an S-rank Jutsu known for its devastating power and complexity. The only difference was that the Rasenshuriken required more precise chakra control.

The wind blades significantly increased the Rasengan's destructive potential, capable of causing severe damage on a cellular level. This variation required advanced mastery and control over wind chakra, making it one of the most challenging yet rewarding techniques to master.

'All versions are inherently different while also the same. I am not sure whether that makes sense. They all demonstrate different aspects of wind chakra nature and its integration with the standard Rasengan.' Renjiro thought.

'The Ring Variation enhances slicing power through a ring formation, the Air Current Variation utilizes surrounding air to boost rotational force, and the Shuriken Variation introduces precise and powerful wind blades for enhanced cutting and destruction.'

'Since I am having issues with making the Air Current Variation throwable, I should probably experiment with the ring variation, as it is the only one I remember being throwable.'

While Renjiro could not remember all of his memories, especially those of his first life, the ones he could still remember, Renjiro could recall them perfectly. It was weird because Renjiro thought that his perfect memory was due to his Sharingan, but it seemed otherwise.

'The air current variation only required minimal wind chakra nature, that's why it was easier to learn. The other variations are going to require more wind chakra nature as well shape manipulation introduced.'

Renjiro holds out his palm, concentrating intently as he attempts the Ring Variation. Immediately, a blue swirling chakra begins to form, spinning rapidly into a compact sphere. 

With a deep breath, he focuses on introducing wind chakra nature into the mix. The colour of the Rasengan starts to shift from blue to a vibrant lime-green one, but before it fully changes colour, the Rasengan dissipates, its energy dispersing into the air.

"The quantity of the wind chakra I am using seems to be off," Renjiro noted.

After diagnosing the problem, Renjiro decides to repeat the whole process again. He steadies his breathing, feeling the flow of chakra through his body. The blue sphere forms once more, swirling and glowing with intense chakra.

This time it fully changed colour before it fully formed the ring, it wavered and dissipated like the first attempt. 

'Well, at least this time it lasted longer. So that's progress. I still need to be precise with the wind nature I am using. It needs to be just to form the Rasengan. Any more or less will cause it to dissipate.' Renjiro remarked.

Unfazed, Renjiro kept on trying again and again, each attempt bringing him closer to success. Minutes passed as he kept on experimenting with different quantities of wind chakra, adjusting the balance between the wind nature and the neutral chakra he was using. 

Finally, after numerous tries, Renjiro feels a breakthrough. The blue Rasengan in his palm begins to transform, the wind chakra swirling around it more harmoniously. The blue fades to a vibrant green, and a distinct ring forms around the core, resembling the rings of Saturn.

The green ring solidifies, spinning faster, maintaining its shape and enhancing the Rasengan's slicing power. Renjiro watches in awe as the Ring Variation holds. 

'I now understand why Naruto said adding wind nature to the Rasengan was like looking right and left at the same time. But that was in regard to the Rasenshuriken. So if this just demands that much concentration, how hard will the Rasenshuriken be?' Renjiro wondered.

He kept on repeating the process again to ensure that he could create the Rasengan even in his sleep. Once it was at an acceptable mastery he prepared targetting boards he used for target practice back during his academy days.

"It's been long since I used these boards," Renjiro muttered feeling his target boards.

The boards were one of the first things that Miwa had given him after he settled down in Konoha. Brushing his hands on the board, Renjiro felt all the marks left by the weapons he used to throw at them. 

It was safe to say all the marks were on the bullseye mark and very rarely outside of the mark. 

After placing the boards in their places, at trees in front of him, Renjiro flickers a couple of meters away from them and creates the ring variation Rasengan. The familiar chakra sphere forms in his palm, swirling with potent chakra.

Renjiro does not immediately throw it, instead, channels more of his chakra to enhance the technique's stability. 

After Renjiro was sure of its stability, He wounded back his arm and released the green-ringed sphere. The Rasengan flies through the air, however, the projectile veers off course, its trajectory not as precise as Renjiro intended. 

"Crack!" 

The Rasengan arcs wildly and as it collides with the tree where one of the targets had been positioned.

"Boom!"

The tree splinters and bursts apart, fragments scattering as they hit the ground.

'Its destructive power is unmistakable, but I don't know why I thought it would be like the Senbon, kunai or any other throwable projectile I use. It contains my chakra so I have to control it to ensure that it reaches its intended target!' 

Renjiro berated himself as he walked forward to retrieve the target board and place it away. He already knew what was wrong with the attempt, so he wanted to see whether he could rectify it. 

But as he did, his senses snapped to attention as the faint signal from the seal at the entrance of his house entered his mind. His gaze immediately fixed intently on the direction of his home.

'The seal has been triggered, someone is coming.'

Renjiro immediately stretched his chakra field and after sensing a familiar chakra signature, he flickered to the front of his house.
