Chapter 5: Making Deals

Kakashi looked intrigued by both items, but I decided to talk about the 'Premium Kunai Set' first, as I would have time to fabricate a story about the 'Training Potion', and why I had such a thing in my shop.

"The item's on the right, is a 'Premium Kunai Set' which you've probably already guessed, but the amazing thing about this set is their sharpness is matched only by chakra blades." I explained to Kakashi.

Kakashi picked up the blade and inspected it closely, before placing it back down in the case with a satisfied expression.

"And this amazing item, on the left, is a special kind of medicine, it's made out of the Spiked Red Flounder's poison, which by itself is deadly, but has a special effect after neutralizing it, it stimulates the brain, and makes adapting and learning faster." I explained to both Kakashi and Gai, as I knew it would be something they would both like to have.

Kakashi gave me a suspicious look, as he has never heard of such a thing before, and such an item would be extremely popular among Shinobi's!

"There are a few side effects, and mixed with its insane rarity and price, not many people can get their hands on it, the Spiked Red Flounder can only be found by the land of whirlpools, and its poison is extremely hard to extract." I said lying through my teeth, there wasn't anything such as a Spiked Red Flounder, I fabricated it while I was showing Kakashi the Kunai's.

At the current moment, I would need to focus on my fitness, and I'm sure I'll get more in my 'Daily Draws' in the future, just at the current moment, if I sold this I could solve my finical problems, even though I made a few thousand Ryo with my system, that would only last so long.

Kakashi still looked skeptical, so I decided to hit the last nail into the coffin.

"You seemed both interested and skeptical at the same time, if you think I'm trying to scam you, you can always pay after you try it out, and see that it works." I said to Kakashi trying to reduce his doubts.

"How much are both together?" Kakashi asked, seemingly wanting to buy both.

"One-hundred thousand Ryo for the Training Potion, twenty-thousand for the kunai set, but you only need to pay for the kunai's right now." I said, and Kakashi visibly winched at the price of both items.

But he begrudgingly pulled out his wallet, and set twenty thousand Ryo on the counter.

"Also, make sure to read the card about the side effects, they take effect as soon as the effects of the Training Potion runs out, it's best to be inside, unless you want to sleep outside." I said with a chuckle, remembering the mistake I made when I used it.

Kakashi nodded before walking out with Gai, who was trying to convince him to share the potion with him, which was quite amusing to see, as Kakashi was having none of it.

But inside I was quite happy, I knew already the potion was going to work, so in total today I made one-hundred and twenty thousand Ryo!

Seeing my only regular customer left, I closed down the shop for the rest of the day, as I already knew nobody else was going to visit.

It's become pretty much a routine at this point, and it also gave me time to spend training instead of wasting around in my shop all day.

Locking the doors, turning off the lights, flipping the sign, I returned to my room, to start the first part of my training.

I wanted to test my limit for each goal, Push-ups, Squats, Sit-ups, I would only attempt the laps after I could complete each of the other goals, to save some dignity.

Panting heavily, I checked my results of all my exercise.

My limit seemed to be the upper sixty's, but slowly declined after each exercise I completed.

I still have my five stat points from my last reward, what I need most for my psychical stats would be vitality and strength, strength will increase psychical strength, and vitality will increase my endurance.

It's quite easy to figure out how to increase my strength stat, but how does one increase their vitality, you may ask?

Well I have no clue either, so I put three points into vitality, and two into strength.

I immediately felt the effects of the increase in stats, I felt full of energy, but my mental fatigue was still there, and my body felt stronger than before.

If I did a redo of my limit, I think I could get each one into the hundreds, but it's still a stretch to finish all the taijutsu goals all in one go.

I still have a ways to go before I can complete this quest, but even a small amount of progress helps.

Well I'm tired, I'm heading to bed.

"I shouldn't of underestimated the side effects." Kakashi said, panting heavily on the ground while clenching his head.

He's been training non-stop since he drank the potion, he was skeptical at first, since the potion tasted quite good, mixed with the fact it had effects that no other medicine offered, but after training with the effects, he could clearly feel the difference.

His mind was clear, he could focus insanely well, even when Obito came over and tried to distract him.

'I'll have to return tomorrow, and see If I can get more.' Kakashi thought before passing out on the ground.
