Chapter 3 - Character Creation

Rolling his eyes at the dancing boy the god used his powers to lift him off the table and push him back into his seat.

" *Sigh*If you are done let's move this along." Feeling more exhausted than he has in the past few millennia the god continued the conversation.

" First, we need to choose the world and what time you want to be born into. Take this, for your convenience we here at Reincarnation Universal have created this all-in-one guide for all your reincarnation needs." From a black portal that appeared floating next to him the god pulled out a tablet and handed it to the boy.

" Golden apple on the back is a nice touch, just don't get a copyright lawsuit." Turning the tablet all over the boy appreciated the craftsmanship.

" Copyright lawsuit *Sneer*, who do you think gave that Jobs guy the idea." lifting his nose in the air the god arrogantly declared his greatness. Snapping out of his brief moment of splendor the god once again became serious.

" Just a warning when picking a world, they may not be exactly the same as you have remembered them. The original worlds have already played out their stories so you will be sent to one of the parallel worlds in an alternate universe, the people should be the same for the most part, but the world may progress differently than the original, especially when you make changes in the future." Explained the god.

This slightly shocked the boy; it made sense to him, but this meant his knowledge of the future may be not reliable or even useless. With a quick headshake to snap out of his distraction the boy refocused on the screen in front of him. The choices were overwhelming, he didn't even know where to begin. In the upper right corner of the screen there was a little flashing symbol for a filter almost like it knew the current dilemma he was facing, clicking on it he immediately added the specifications he wanted.

'Let's see, I definitely want an anime world, just which one do I choose?' The choices were hard but after a few minutes he narrowed it down to only a handful, he then sank into silent thought going over all his options.

While waiting the god pulled out some hot tea and snacks from his floating portal, set them on the table and started to relax, letting the boy take all the time he needed. This was a big decision, so he wanted him to think through everything seriously.

After a few minutes hearing a question, the god was Broken from his relaxation.

"Hey god what do you think, I've narrowed it down and I think I have my choice?" He slid the tablet across the table allowing the god to look over his decision.

"The Naruto world and a year before the Kyuubi attacks Konoha huh, a fine choice." Agreeing with his choice the god thought 'Naruto world, a place of much violence but even more so full of family and friendship.' The god gave the boy a warm smile seeing that as annoying as he may be, and as much as he wants to hide it his true nature still shines through.

"With the world and time decided on you now have to choose your abilities, The karma you have left is enough to grant you three powers." Handing the tablet back to the boy, the screen changed from a list of worlds to a new list of powers.

'I have thought about this a lot before I died but let's make sure that the powers are here anyway.' Searching through the list that seemed endless the boy quickly found all the powers he was looking for. After making his choices he handed the tablet back to the god for his approval.

"Limitless and Six Eyes of the Gojo clan, in a world of Dojutsu a good decision to choose an ocular power however, your body won't be able to handle the strain as baby so they will have to awaken gradually as you grow, and your body gets stronger." Pointed out the god.

"I understand, I don't want to explode as soon as I'm born anyway." With a shiver the boy readily agreed.

"Lastly, the breathing techniques from Demon Slayer. This will strengthen your body, mental prowess and give you enhanced recovery speed. The advanced techniques of elemental breathing can be adapted to be compatible with chakra so that shouldn't be a problem, but you won't be able to use Sun or Moon breathing due to these techniques needing a certain bloodline to activate." Apologized the god.

"That's alright, though a bit of a disappointment I think these powers will mesh the best." Responded the boy.

"Good, now for your appearance in your next life you can choose from anyone already existing, or you can create your own avatar with this state of this state-of-the-art facial scanning software and we here at Reincarnation Universal guarantee that the previous kinks in the software have been ironed out and no Claymation abomination of a face will be created again." Taking out a full body capsule from a portal the god offered.

"No way are you getting me in that capsule." With a deadpan look on his face the boy rejected the create your own option.

"*tch* no one wants to be a lab rat these days." After a click of the tongue the god whispered just loud enough for the bit to hear.

"I will go with an already existing person." A tick mark was visible on the boy's forehead after he was almost treated as a guinea pig.

"Then may I recommend the beautiful looks of Mirajane Strauss or Boa Hancock perhaps?" With a shit eating grin, the petty god enjoyed the look of horror on the boy's face.

"No, absolutely not. I will not have you take away my manhood before I even get a chance to use it!" His hair stood on end as he yelled at the god for even joking about being born without his little buddy.

"Fine, fine don't get your panties in a twist." Smirked the god.

After contemplating for a little while the boy decided to take the appearance of the original owner of his new eyes. " I will go with Satoru Gojo."

"Sure, pick the pretty boy's face, you just want to look good for the girls." Jokingly mocked the god.

"So what, I want a girlfriend too." Embarrassingly blushed the boy.

The god laughed till tears were streaming down his face seeing how flustered the boy got after being seen through. A few minutes later each calmed down, the god catching his breath from laughter and the boy taking some deep breaths to remove the red from his face.

"Thank you." The boy stared into the gods' eyes and with a small smile only said two words, but they were full of his heartfelt gratitude.

The God looked at the boy the way a grandfather would look at his grandson and gave him a warm pat on the head.

Suddenly the boy started to glow with a faint light.

"It's already time huh." The god said with a little bit of bittersweetness.

The god got up from the table and gestured for the boy to follow.

While walking amid the sea of flowers. The boy glanced at his hands and realized what the god meant. Coming slowly to a stop the god and boy faced each other as the soft glow grew brighter and brighter almost drowning the world in light.

When the light was at its brightest the boy said one last thing to the god. "I hope I don't see you again for a long time."

"Ha ha, me to kid... me too." With a hearty chuckle the god watched as the boy disappeared from sight and the light began to dim back until the world was peaceful yet again.

"Kinda quiet all of a sudden." Feeling a little sad after the kid left, he spoke to the open air seemingly lost in thought.

"I guess I'll give you one last gift, kid." Snapping out of his daze the god roused his divine power.

Peering through the dimensions he found the world the kid was going to be sent to and altered the fabric of that universe slightly.

"Those damn Otsutsuki, just minor gods with barely a divine spark acting all arrogantly. BE GONE!" With one shout almost all the Otsutsuki were ripped out of that universe and barred access.

"The kid deserves to have a happy family this time around and I may as well fix a few other broken ones while I'm at it." A tired smile could be seen on the gods face as he rewrote the fate of the shinobi world.

"There kid, don't be sad, cherish your family, live happily." The god sat back down at the table pulled out a television from his trusty floating portal, turned it on and began to watch. The familiar opening began to play and the words Naruto: Limitless flashed onto the screen.
