The Two Tails
(Midora's POV)
"Well...." I said as I ran through the underground cavern system, "Ain't this shit something....."
I had been deployed on a mission to investigate Kumo's request to aid against the Akatsuki's attacks. I was skeptical at first about this due to the fact that Kumogakure's Kage is quite the prick and he always keeps his Jinchuriki safely kept inside his village.
I've interacted with his Eight-Tails Jinchuriki at one point; Killer Bee, he's cool. But this other one; the Two-Tails, yea, I have no idea what to expect.
As I made a right, I jumped to avoid several fireballs thrown my way.
"Whoa!" I exclaimed as I signed seals
"Water Style: Water Wall!"
I summoned a barrier of water as more fireballs shot straight at me, causing explosions of steam.
As I landed safely a few feet away, I saw a figure jump through the steam and throw a kick.
"Shit." I said as I blocked the kick, "To think we'd meet like this."
The Two Tails Jinchuriki glared at me, "Who are you?!" She growled
The blow was strong enough to slightly buckle me, her strength was nothing to scoff at.
"Hey, take it easy." I said pushing her off, "I'm not your enemy!"
She signed her hands in the Ram seal, activating her chakra.
"I'll be the judge of that!" She snapped
She then signed several signs and jumped away, shooting several balls of blue flames.
"Mouse Hairball!!"
I watched as those fireballs hit around me and exploded. I narrowed my eyes to realize that the fireballs were covering hairballs that exploded.
"Shit.." I said as I signed some seals, "Not this shit...."
"Water Style: Coiling Water Serpent!!"
I summoned a stream of water that was shaped in a serpent as it spiraled around me, blocking the fiery hair projectiles, causing more explosions of steam.
"You're not bad, a Water Shinobi." She said, "Wait...your headband...You're from Konoha....."
She landed several meters away from me and gave me a scowl.
"I've received orders to aid the Two Tails Jinchuriki." I said as I patted my sleeves, "I'm not here to fight."
She shook her head, "I doubt it." She said, "The Raikage isn't the type of man to ask Konoha of all villages for help. You must've been sent to capture me; for Konoha's benefit."
I frowned, "We have issues with the Nine-Tails, why the fuck would we want another Tailed Beast?" I said, "And don't say military might because we don't need Tailed Beasts for that.....Konoha already has me!!"
I clapped my hands in the Snake seal.
"Wood Style: Chaotic Bed"
In an instant, several wooden roots shot from the ground and straight towards her, attempting to constrict around her.
"W-Wood Style?" She exclaimed, "You're the Senju!!"
I saw that as she jumped around, she began to cloak herself in Biju chakra.
"Oh no!" I said, "I'm not letting you!!"
I waved my hands at her and several wooden vines sprouted from the ground where she landed and immediately coiled around her legs.
"Ahh!" She yelled, "You bastard!!"
I watched as the chakra began to be drained from her, calming her down.
"Relax, I won't hurt you." I said, "This is just a misunderstanding. I am here to help you. If I release you, do not attack."
She glared at me, "I don't trust you!!" She growled
I nodded, "Understandable." I said, "But you got no choice. You're being hunted by 2 Akatsuki members, I am here to help you escape them. Now, give me a chance to-"
I immediately drew my kunai and blocked a massive three-bladed scythe weapon that was flung from a distance.
The blow was strong enough to send me reeling, as it caught me off-guard.
"What the...." I said, "Shit!"
The scythe was dragged towards the user, in the shadows.
"What do we have here?" I heard a deep voice say
"Kehe!" another said, "Two birds with one stone, don't ya think Kakuzu?!"
I watched as two cloaked men appeared from the shadows, wearing the Akatsuki symbol.
"Indeed." the masked Akatsuki said, "A Jinchuriki and the man who can make capturing them easy. Just our luck, Hidan."
The guy with the slick-back hair smirked, "Oh yea!!" He exclaimed,
"This'll be fun!!!"
